About the author

Tristan Hughes was born in Atikokan, Ontario, and brought up on the Welsh island of Ynys Môn. He has a PhD in literature from King’s College, Cambridge, and has taught American literature in Cambridge, Taiwan, Wales and Germany. He won the Rhys Davies Short Story Award in 2002, and his first two novels, The Tower and Send My Cold Bones Home, were highly praised in the U.K. Revenant is his third novel.

Really liked the writing style. Didn't say on the book that these were short stories? They are short stories. The first few interlinked but not sure the others did, loved the first few stories in particular.

This looked like a spooky novel set in canada but turmed out to be a collection of unrelated short stories, none of which were any good. Utter rubbish. Do not buy or read this book.
