Logan Rowe has had his fair share of waiting. Between age differences and growing up, he's been as patient as love is supposed to be. After years of chasing Ryleigh, the time has come. She better buckle up for the ride, because he's not stopping now until he finally claims her. Heart and Soul.
This is the first contemporary novella spin off from the RH White Trash Trilogy, which does not have to be read first, though the character cameos will make better sense if it is.

I love love loved this addition to the white trash series, not only is it great to see Kendall and her guys again but also to read T’s little sisters story with Lucas’s brother! Well written I absolutely love how the writer expressed their feelings, I don’t want to give spoilers but this is an amazing read ❤️❤️❤️

Ryleigh is finally willing to give Logan the attention he wants from her after all these years. He’s had a lot of growing up to do for her to give in and agree to go out on a date with him. Once Logan has her he damn sure isn’t going to let her go under no condition what so ever. Ugh I just loved this short story even though it needed to be longer because I’m never going to get tired of this world I just love them oh so much.

I felt like reading every second or third chapter of a book. I expected more character and plot development and this did not even constitute a book in my eyes. It was like Ryleigh and Logan had no issues (other than dad, which was very quickly over with) and we jumped straight into them getting a HEA.

Quit dancing around!

For three books Logan and Ry have been dancing around each other and even for most of this book it was mostly build up. You only get two or three of actual action.

Not nearly enough...

This felt more like a snippet or a sample from a story than a story, and for two characters who have only ever been in the background of someone else’s story, this just wasn’t nearly enough...
Ok, sure we know from Kendall’s trilogy these two have been circling each other for ages, but they were always side/background characters ,they were never front and center .
Which makes sense of course because it was Kendall and her men’s story NOT Ryleigh and Logan’s but
But since Ryleigh and Logan were already some kinda “ pre-established” thing,we never got to see how they started.
We are told about how they’ve been circling each other like two nervous boxers never ready to start the fight, but never their complete backstory of how they started .

You know that moment when those looks changed from friend to ,oooooooo I want some of that ...
And even if we had seen it there it wouldn’t be the same .
It wouldn’t be like building a story around them.

This was ok, ish but I kept feeling like I’d just walked in on the tail end of a story.
I felt no connection to these two as a couple ,we go from seeing these two on the side lines spitting and hissing at each other, dying to get other themselves and get together but w/out at least some type of prologue at the beginning letting us see how things started p, I felt like if I’d started watching a movie in the last 30 minutes and was trying to feel a connection I wasn’t given a chance to form.

I’ll try not to spoil anything ⚠️ I mean we all basically know this is where Ry and Logan finally “get together “ but there coulda/shoulda been more too this.
Basically Ry starts out running as per usual ,decides to go out on a date finally w/Logan , one date, over night of sex and suddenly two months has passed and just when the big question is asked

THE END

Ms.Slaven is a very talented writer I’m my opinion, but I don’t understand why, she gave these two a book w/out and set up,or backstory or anything to finally get to really know these to and who they are and exactly why they’ve played things they way they have for soo long .
I’d loved to have seen their different p.o.v’s from when they went from just “friends” or what ever to pining for something more. Honestly I feel kinda cheated, this was soo short it left these two characters, whom I’m sure are very interesting in their own right feeling shallow and kinda empty .
The light is finally turned on them, they’re finally given their chance to shine and it be all about them and were barely given more than 24 hours in a “day in the life “ kinda feel ( and telling me two months has passed doesn’t count.
Too little .
This felt more like and extended epilogue than anything else and without anything else to go w/I felt connection this was needed to make this feel like anything real even in the slightest.

Logan by Brandy Slaven
I received this book from the author for an honest opinion/Review.
SHUT UP!! GAH THIS BOOK!!
I have loved reading the side story of Ry and Logan since the very first novel. Those two are something fun and crazy. They needed to finally stop pushing and pulling and just communicate. Logan is ever the ladies man, or is he? Seems he has been pretty twisted up over his sister-in-law’s bestie for a long while now. Ry has been head over heels in love with her brothers friend since childhood but the cocky and arrogant guy just cant figure out how to win her heart. Ry isnt a huge fan of cocky and arrogant!! LOL
This novella was the perfect HEA to their story. I gotta tell ya I loved it . Logan is a lot deeper than I think I gave him credit for and Ry is a lot more determined to have her own perfect love. I sooo loved seeing Kendall and “The Quad” for a few scenes but the focus on the Rowe boys was perfect. I am sssssuper excited for the other Rowe brother books as well.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I so enjoyed this quick read. Logan and Ry are made for each other. I’m telling you their chemistry is explosive.

These two have been circling each other for years. Logan and Ry have been doing this dance and now Logan is done he is ready to show her that she is his. He is determined to win her over
completely. I loved seeing Leo and Lath giving Logan a hard time in true brotherly love style.

I’m not sure how I could fall in love with Logan even more but watching everything he does for Ry and hearing the razzing he gets from his brothers did it. I don’t want to say too much about this book because I want you to read it to get the full story of Logan and Ry and what they have to deal with. I’m so happy to hear we get to know more about the rest of the Row boys. I have fallen for these men as much as I have for Kendall’s guys.

Here is a quote that made me giggle when I was reading.

“New Rule”, he replies in a gravely voice. “you’re not allowed to talk about my brothers in this room. The only names I want on your lips here is mine, or I might find other places to bite you. “

Pretty good

I loved the White Trash series. But with some of the back story of this book sprinkled throughout it, I feel like missed some important parts. I still liked this story, but it's not a favorite.

I love the White Trash Trilogy and would love any spinoff from ot but goodness is Logan amazing. If you loved the White Trash Trilogy this will not disappoint. First off it was so good to get to read more of Kendell and her boys but to also read about Ry and Logan. I love them and their relationship. Definitely a great add to the Trilogy and wont disappoint. Big praises to Brandy. She hit it out of the park.

Set in the White Trash series, Logan is the first short story of the spinoff of my favorite series by Brandy. This book is such a quick read, but we go get a good story that packs a punch.

We get Logan and Ryleigh's story. I was waiting for something of these two and I was not disappointed. Full of the series usual snarky, funny lines, and full of a good romance. I will warn you it is a quick read. Like everything happens so fast, but I am just happy to see how these two hooked up.

I hope to see much more from the White Trash series, and I would really like to see maybe a new series with the kids of our favorite characters. ( hint, hint)

I loved this quick story. It's sweet and short but all of the feelings and story are there. Ryleigh has been playing a bit hard to get for Logan but realizes maybe she needs to change tactics. Logan knows how much he loves and wants Ryleigh to be his. He just needs to put in a little effort. It's fun getting to see a few of the characters we love.

I freaking loved it. I needed this story so bad. I’ve been waiting for this for what seems like forever. This was the cherry on the top for the White Trash Trilogy. I know it’s supposed to be done. But I really don’t want it to end. Like ever. Yes I know I’m greedy. Lol but it’s so stinking good. Brandy girl I love you so freaking much. You rock!

Another five star read from the White Trash Trilogy. This book doesn't follow Kendall and her boys but Ryleigh and Logan and we finally get to see what has been going on in their relationship. This book is a novella so it's a shorter story but it was perfect to give me all that I wanted. I'm looking forward to reading the next novella in the series. Five stars from me.

Logan and Ryleigh have both loved each other for a long time. Finally they're both realizing that it is time to go after what they want: each other. Read it to find out how their story ends. It is it just the beginning?
