Not really for me. I had an immediate problem with the female main character being called Aiden. This is a boy's name to me so I did not really care for it. Then along came Phillip who fell instantly in love and Aiden knocked him back rudely and repeatedly without much reason. Or so it seemed to me.

Anyway I continued to read and was never really impressed by the characters, the story or the dialogue. From the reviews it appears this author has written some really good books but this apparently was not one of them.

Aiden O'Connell is upset. A new restaurant is opening right next door to the Orange Blossom Cafe. To top it all off, she finds herself attracted to the owner of the new restaurant, Phillip "Fisher" Moreau.

The two engage in a battle of wills (and wits) as they each sabotage and one-up the other's restaurant....and the mutual attraction continues to grow.

This was a silly, fluffy story without any real depth to it. It was a quick, easy read - if somewhat irritating with the juvenile pranks and Aiden's general brattiness.

I have really enjoyed T.I. Lowe's novels. When I saw this little novella, which is linked to some of her previous books, I had to read it! And it did not disappoint! Sweet, wonderful and quirky characters, humor and romance abound. A really fun read, that left me smiling!

I loved this book! Part one was hilarious and cute, but part two threw me for a loop! I loved that there was a “recipe” at the start of each chapter, and there were even some recipes in the back! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of reading this very well-written book!

Mediocre. Not my favorite read by this author. Nothing memorable. It was just okay. I barely finished this one since it was very predictable. IN the end, I did not really care for the hero either. Not sure if his motives were sincere.

T I Lowe wrote one of my all time favourite feel good books, "Goodbyes and Second Chances", and the other books of hers that I have read have given me a warm cosy feeling as well. So I had this one saved up for a rainy day, when I needed a hug from a book. And sadly, it disappointed me. The characters, especially Aiden, were too angry and vindictive, it just didn't seem possible that the guy would continue to be interested in her.

Loved this story

Loved this book from start to finish. I'm a sucker for books where the guy is the one who pursues the woman. Great book!

I was so disappointed in this book. Neither character had many redeeming qualities and their story didn’t draw me in. The “pranks” at the beginning were beyond childish and the female acted like a spoiled brat while the male acted like some romance hero who came in with his deep voice and warned the bad guy away. Then we never actually saw their romance develop because as soon as they got together there was a massive time hop of 1 year or maybe multiple years. It wasn’t consistent with how long it had been and I was extremely confused. When the ex returns and we could’ve gotten some emotional reason for her actions all we got was exactly what was said in the beginning; he cheated on her but she won’t actually tell anyone this. There was no character depth. And, even though she was beyond ridiculous and a brat, her best friend put all blame on her without an ounce of compassion. Speaking of best friend, the way the author tried to write Jamaican dialogue was distracting and didn’t add to the story at all. By the time the end came I genuinely didn’t care and just wanted it to be over. I loved Lulu’s Cafe but this book fell very short of it.

A delightful short story, romantic and funny, I didn't want it to end. This is another new author for me and looking forward to reading more of this series (The American Flower Collection), an added bonus of a recipe was nice also. Very well written.

Loved It!

This is my first book by author T. I. Lowe, but it definitely won't be my last. What a lovely, refreshing, fun, romantic, inspirational, and entertaining read! Although it was a short read, it moved along at a good pace without feeling rushed. I loved the interactions and pranks between the main characters, Aiden and Fisher, although I truly wanted to smack Aiden upside the head more than once. She was truly getting on my last nerve and annoying me to no end. However, that's just one of the things that made the story so enjoyable. And of course my favorite part? The HEA ending. Loved it!

Just ok

I really wanted to love this book. However, the main character behaved childishly through most of the book. It was hard to like her.The relationship seemed to be based on looks and physicality than getting to know each other. This aS my first T I Lowe book.I will try another in hopes for a better read.

Fun read

This book was a fun read, but just too short. I love how this author writes. Hurry up with more good books, but make them longer., please.

I’ve got to be honest... this is definitely the CRAZIEST couple I’ve read about in quite a while.

I’ve read books where the leads despise each other before they fall in love... but never to quite this extent. The pranking gets a bit crazy. And then they’re together, and she’s got her issues yet he pressures her with a surprise..... just not a great idea. And of course, as one might have anticipated, she doesn’t handle the pressure well (to say the least). And then it spirals a bit because they need a grownup conversation that never really comes.... and happily ever after.

Another winning story

Lowe has such an incredible gift for story - telling that I can promise you, I will read everything she has ever written so far and I will continue to read everything she writes! I absotively posolutely LOVE Lowe's style of weaving a story, especially a romantic one! I am such a sucker for clean, passionate love stories, and Fisher and Aiden's is exactly that. Orange Blossom Cafe is certainly going on my list of top favorite romantic books. :) I thought about Fisher and Aiden long into the night after reading the whole book in one sitting.

DNF. I’ve read T.I. Lowe books before and really enjoyed them, but this one is a no.

I hated how adults acted more like young kids and that Phillip aka Fisher felt he had the right to force Aiden to hold his hand or he could just walk up and nip her ear with his teeth or squeeze her hips was disgusting to me. Didn’t matter if she was attracted to him. His actions and the fact that it’s implied he’s a Christian made me nauseous.

I made it about 39% through the book hoping it would get better. But I could not finish it.

I need the south

This northern girl thinks she lives in the wrong state lol! Not Florida, but I do love the southern theme of this author and her sense of humor. She lives and breathes the south and it is warm and inviting. I have to say I did lose patience and wanted to say enough already, just give in. Thankfully Nora did the talking for me.

An exceptional author!

I found it difficult to wade through the games Aiden and Fisher were playing initially. Neal I found difficult to stomach altogether. Eventually, there was some substance to their cat and mouse games. The neighborhood gossips were an example of how people tend to get involved in other people's lives uninvited.

A light and easy rom com read. Set in Florida, two restaurant owners fall for each other, but fight the attraction until they just can’t anymore. This was just ok for me. I found some of their back and forth strange- definitely not true to life. It was a quick read that was great after a heavy one!

T. I. Lowe is quickly becoming one of my go to authors for fun wholesome good stories. This book jumped a little too much in places and ended up being rather shallow compared to Lulu's Cafe, but I still enjoyed. It is easy to fall in love with Lowe's characters and the small coastal towns that she clearly paints in her books.

This one was okay. Not my favorite by T.I. Lowe. I loved the spunky personality of the main character, but felt like that was overused in an obnoxious way to create the plot.
The love story in general wasn’t my favorite, I rolled my eyes quite a few times at this one because I was annoyed at the direction she took it 😅
But I didn’t dislike it enough to DNF it …. So 2 stars from me.

One of the first Christian books I ever read was Lulu’s Cafe by this author and I loved it. This one was nearly as funny and nearly as enjoyable. Loved the life recipes, the music playlist and the love between Little Fire and Fisher. Highly recommend the book and author.

In the middle of the story there is an abrupt shift & too much time lost, that I didn't like. Aiden was an annoying character.

Liked 2 other books a lot more by this author...LuLu's Cafe & Indigo Isle.

Delightful

“Orange Blossom Cafe” is such a good read. The romance, banter, the Gals. Oh so good.

T.I.Lowe creates believable, fun characters. A one-sided relationship blossoming to full, drew me in tight.

An “ahhh” and “awww” ending.

The main character was annoying. She was stubborn and whiny. The book had the same theme the whole way through. I kept waiting for it to change, but it didn’t.
