Don't step into this world unless you want to play with the big boys. And yeah, they run in packs. All the Hell Hounds do.Hard to Find is Book 1 in the Second Trilogy of the Hell Hounds Harem series. Must read entire trilogy in order.
Briana Michaels grew up and still lives on the East Coast. When taking a break from the crazy adventures in her head, she enjoys running around with her two children. If there is time to spare, she loves to read, cook, hike in the woods, and sit outside with a fire. She does all of this with the love and support of her amazing husband who always has her back, encouraging her to go for her dreams. Aye, she’s a lucky girl indeed.
re-read 2020 I still prefer the first trilogy, but will say this one is more suspenseful? I was really into it, I just felt like there was too much sex. So much sex all the time! It took over the story :/ But still really good and now I can finally move onto the last trilogy!
----------- I ended up not loving 4-6 as much as I did 1-3. It was nice to see those characters again though.
I really wanted to love these characters and was wondering how it would work out. For the most part I did like this series, I will say that, there were just a few things I didn't like and I know I'm mentally comparing this trilogy to the first, but it is hard not to. I think where I was lost was the end of book 2, but book 3 brought me back in to loving it. The ending though! It didn't feel complete at all, which leads me to believe that there will be another trilogy forthcoming???? I can hope anyhow. I'm hoping the next group will be the angels ;)
These hounds always get to me. This is my second time reading tillys trilogy in the hell hounds harem series! Tilly is a woman with nothing to lose. A chance encounter has her spending time with a couple of hell hounds, racing against time to save the lives of 3 different people. Such a great start to their trilogy. Briana. Michaels is seriously gifted when it comes to character development. You will fall in love with these characters and become hooked on this series.
The hell hounds harem series is made up of 3 trilogies, they do need to be read in order. The first trilogy is Sarah and her pack, the second trilogy is Tilly and her pack, and the final trilogy is Lucifer and his pack. There is an overcast plot over the entire series, which is why they need to be read in order.
Do yourself a favor and read this series. I promise it will become a favorite
I seriously love the world that Briana Michaels has built. I love these Hounds and their dedication to the pack. I love Tilly and her strength to go on regardless of what happens to her. I HATE the cliffhanger, but I LOVE that Briana Michaels has released all three books of this trilogy at once so I don't have to wait. As a rule, I try not to start a series that will take years to finish. I'm a glutton for books and I don't have the patience (blame it on growing up with Harry Potter followed by A Song of Ice and Fire) to wait. I like to binge a series all in a row. So kudos to you Briana... I love the story and the format.
If book 2 in this trilogy were not out and available I would be screaming. But it is. So I’ll just tell you this book is tense and heartbreaking and fabulous. I love seeing characters from the first trilogy and diving deeper into characters that were only introduced in the first three books. So so so good. Now, I must go find out what happens with Tilley! On to the next book!
so good so good so good!! I love Tilly shes so confident and self assured even when shes not! man I was binge reading this while at work woops and when it ended I wanted to yell noo! and i checked and the next book is available and I almost squealed out loud lol anyways super stoked on this series! really loving it
One word can describe my reaction to this whole book. Wow, just wow the hounds have returned and we see the continuation from the last book. From Sara’s pack to Valor and Bishop. We find out what happened afterwards when they saved hell.
I absolutely love this author! The books are some of my favourites and I appreciate how the author releases all 3 books in the series at once; I’m not sure what I’d do if I had to wait to next the next book! LOVE LOVE LOVE these hell hound series!!
I’ve read the first Trilogy with Sara and her hounds and I absolutely loved the world and the characters the author had created! I was excited to start a new journey with a few of the side characters from the first trilogy. The storyline is creative and unique. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect or what direction the author planned to take with Valor’s pack but I loved what she did with this book.
Tilly is an interesting character. I found myself frustrated with her at times when her paranoia got the better of her and led her to make rash decisions. She’s also quite an enigma. She obviously has dabbled in magic in the past and has some knowledge of the supernatural world, but her curse still has me scratching my head. I want to know why her family was cursed but of course, that information isn’t available to us yet.
I’m still in love with Lucifier’s character just as much as I was in Sara’s story. I love how the author has crafted Lucifier where he is a formidable and unforgiving character yet has love and passion for those he cares deeply for. I am eager to get a spin off focusing on Lucifier finding companionship and happiness. You can tell he longs for someone to share his life with.
Another fantastic addition to the Hell Hounds Harem that I highly recommend! If you haven’t read the first 3 books, you cannot jump into this one and fully understand everything that is happening. You will be lost so do yourself a favor and grab the first 3 before diving into this beauty.
I liked Tilly, she took action, she took risks, she failed many times. She is a human put into a hard situation. I love hellhounds, I'm getting sick of wolves. She is cursed, every woman in her family since 200 years ago has died before turning 28 years. Tilly is 27 and 2 months, she could die at any point. She is desperate to not die and at the same die finish up her bucket list. She meets Bishop and then Ginger guy and they try to intimidate and protect her, she is not up to it. As men go, they don't listen so she shows them repeatedly she is more than they think she is. We see the abducted brothers, they are tortured, kids are killed because they don't cooperate. It's heartbreaking. Yet you can't help yourself but wait for Tilly to kick ass and save them. The demon Zaza? What was his deal? Humping her? Is there going to be more? Why the no sex in the book? Some hot scenes but no sex? Please.....
This starts the next trio of books in the Hellhound Harem series. It focuses around Valor’s pack in the aftermath of Bishop’s possession and their search for their missing two pack members. The chapters switch between viewpoints of sevenish or so characters from across the series, but mostly hover around Tilly and Bishop, and later Valor. There’s a lot to unpack in this one, and it very much contains hot/cold characters that flip everywhere throughout the book. All for reasons, but it’s sometimes contradictory to have them so flaky, and they’ll think something about themselves and do the exact opposite two pages later. It did bog it down in places, but there’s a lot to be said for a slow build romance. There’s a wicked cliff hanger at the end, so have the next book ready.
Having followed the first trilogy, I was rapt to start reading the second. Different pack, with cross over with the original pack, still tightly written with lots of twists and turns and what a heck of a cliff hanger. If you haven’t read books 1-3, you don’t have to really but there is an amount of cross over and I really do recommend starting at the beginning and working your way back to here.
Loved this first book in Tilly’s story. Val and Bishop were fast favourites. Tilly was a funny FMC who had been through Hell already, a strong woman to contend with four hell hounds. We also got some cameos from the first harem and Lucifer.
I’ll admit I don’t like knowing a lot about what the main characters don’t see for themselves, so I did skip POVs that weren’t from Val, Tilly or Bishop.
Wow, I’m impressed ... Tilly is a complicated lass but totally bad ass! Back with the hell hounds, but with Valor and Bishop, trying to find Baz and Drake, who have disappeared without a trace. Bishop finds Tilly, and from then on, she’s on their radar (not a bad place to be!) Brilliant writing, Ive been sucked in at the start of this series, and there’s absolutely no stopping now.
I'm not panicking, you're panicking from that cliffhanger. Cheezus crust that was stressful. I knew this book was going to be amazing because the first trilogy was, I just didn't anticipate the amount of agnst I would experience over the twins. Lol, with that cliffhanger I am going to have to snag next in series asap.
Wow! The continuation of this series and another pack is all the things! Slap me sideways, this book is drought with danger and intensity. I adore Tilly! She gets handed more nd in her life than reasonable and she just rolls with the punches. I absolutely loved it.
I actually liked this trilogy better than the first one. Maybe it was because I knew the basics at this point & could enjoy the storyline without being confused? I’m not sure, but I think it was just better.
Yup. Not gonna happen. I dislike all the characters. I don't see the romance and even though I'm curious it's just not worth the page count in my opinion. Maybe for younger audience. Deffo not for me.
Well written and a great story line. I personally had a few “come on, really?” moments. But overall I really enjoyed the book. I really like the first trilogy too. Oh and there’s a cliffhanger at the end!
I love tilly's attitude, she's not letting fear get in her away, well for the most part. Bishop is my favorite but I feel so bad for Valor he tries so hard to keep and protect everyone. Can't wait to read the next one.
Brianna Michaels ensures your addiction to her series as she takes you down another blood hound pack's story. Bringing more characters into her craftfully written plots; is a pleasurable mix of pain and pleasure, which will leave you screaming for more.
This is actually just as good as the other trilogy. We actually get to see a pack come together instead of already be established. Tilly has some unexpected depths to her that are awesome so I'm on to the next book!
This book is so sad and full of despair. For everyone involved. So be prepared for those feelings. It doesn’t really improve, although some possible hope at the very end, but it does end on a cliffhanger.
Okay, I was apprehensive about reading this second trilogy once I realized it wasn't about Sara and her pack. Valor and his pack didn't catch my attention in the first trilogy but I gave it shot and I have say, this book sucked me in!
I have to write this review quickly to get to the next book. I love the build up. Not as much smut but it’s a perfect mix. The heart racing is real in this book and I’m excited to turn the page of the next
I'm really struggling with the romance in this story. I get the attraction and I really want to find out what happens with the twins but I'm so annoyed with the characters I can't finish. Definitely in the minority here though.
