Ben and his wife, Suzy, have been stationed in Italy, Okinawa, and Alaska. Aside from writing fiction, Ben’s other interests include drawing his Airman Artless comic strips. Chrome Mountain is his debut novel.

Had me
Everything from knights to cats to pirates to wormholes.
I went into this book unsure of what’d I think and honestly by the 2nd page I was committed. It’s just a good story of a journey to right wrongs. There’s also no holding back with the brutal ways humans can treat each other and you can actually believe in the leads morals and determination to help people in need. I also appreciated it being a standalone a good amount of pages as opposed to being broken down into a series.

Realm Journey by Ben Schneider is an epic fantasy novel with a little romance and a lot of action.
Xandar makes a fantastic hero. He kind, caring, misunderstood, and just arrogant enough to make you occasionally roll your eyes.
Jia has many of the same characteristics but maybe a little less kind to people who cross her path.
The world-building is incredible in this story. Kingdoms in the sky, wormhole portals to other worlds, ghost ships, witchcraft, knights, and more.
Then there is the magic, or is it science? I tend to believe it’s pure science & chemistry. Either way, so much power in those well organized little vials.
I will admit I was a little slow to become involved in the story, but I believe that is on me not the book. However, about a quarter of the way in, I was hooked. I devoured page after page. I caught myself holding my breath, cheering, raging, and even in tears a couple of times. Well done, Ben. I didn’t expect the tears.
I definitely recommend Realm Journey to lovers of adventure, fantasy, action, sword & sorcery, and darn good story-telling.

This book was so vivid with its imagination, it blew my mind with its imagination and adventure. For me it was like star wars with Lord of the rings. I truly loved it. Ben Schneider is some writer, I am impressed.

Why Realm journey should be followed by book to or a.k.a. why you should buy this book!
In this day and age where books can be bought at very low prices it is always an exciting feeling when buying a book out of thousands upon thousands of books and you start reading it and you can’t stop. This book is awesome from the chase scene to the near miss is the battles ET see. There’s a scene in this book where he hast to climb an old and decrepit wall of some kind and he hast to climb very high the further he gets the more treacherous it becomes that scene alone made my heart stop in my stomach quiver and it is not often a book does that. Because it’s not easy to do. Not to mention this book has one of the best chasings I’ve ever read or saw in a movie and I mean with or without cars. I am surprised this writer doesn’t have five more books in this world, because the world is awesome I’m sure there’s more treacherous people to take down maybe Xander can be rented out and go help of the kingdom solve the problems. Come on Ben Snyder get to work! I love this book in a few love action pack books where men wear Chainmaiil.

An engrossing novel by Realm,a sheer page turner! This is the first time that I read an ebook so fast using my Kindle unlimited. I was a little sceptical, considering the length of the book. But Realm's Lucid writing hooked me in!
