The Delight This was another installment in a world I don't understand or know along with teenagers acting older than they are and sometimes coming off as immature. Since it is YA, I forgie them.
Review The first three stories all came from Tinsley's POV, but now Pres picks up where TInsley left off to continue the story. I was very vague in who Tinsley ended up with in the reviews, but you can't get away from it since they are a couple for this entire story and The Rulz protect her like their own even if they aren't sleeping with her. Hence why the Reverse Harem description never worked for me in the last three books.
Tinsley is now a target of a rival crew in a town over I guess. They are going rogue even in their own group. They want something and they are using Tinsley against Pres to get him to do some dirty work. But they aren't afraid to hurt Tinsley either. Pres isn't going to give in, nor is he letting Tinsley get hurt.
Pres is also dealing with his mother being in the last stages of ALS. She can't talk, but before she got too sick, she set up Pres to get everything and her husband hardly anything. So his father is also coming at him to show he isn't going to give and to shame his own son.
Throw in Tinsley's best friend from back home is missing and she can't just leave it alone. Tinsley going alone to save her is unthinkable, thus causing a lot of pressure to sit on Pres's shoulders.
One by one he deals with all the issues that come his way. Some gracefully, some as a horribly thoughtless teenager he is. The wholly love he feels for Tinsley is a little over the top. While he never questions that love, he does test it with words and actions.
The story is much in the same vein as the first three, just a different perspective. The description hinted it might be time for one of The Rulz to go, but that is never addressed. Maybe there were hints of something to come, but even that I didn't pick up on.
Kip's story is next and I assume Barr's will be close behind, but who knows, maybe he is the one getting iced.
The love making is a little more detailed, but also not very exciting. It felt like it was written by someone who doesn't know what a woman wants in a romance. But then again this is YA so I really am not sure I wanted to have that kind of love making.
I am hooked on this series. I wish I could tell you why....but I can't.

If you've read BFH you definitely will want to read this. I didn't think Jaxson Kidmans books could get any better but they do. It blows me away. Just when you think you have it all figured out. He adds twists and turns to keep you intrigued. This book lets you see the other side of the story. Experience the human side of Pres. Of course the story doesn't end here. Theres more to come. This was fantastic. It answered so many questions. It is filled with love, anger, sex and tragedy. It has it all. I couldn't put it down. I had to keep reading until the end. Wow!! What an awesome read.
If you’ve read the Bay Falls High series, then you know Tinsley’s story. Now it’s time to hear what Pres has to say, as you fall in love with him all over again...HARD!! Jaxson Kidman once again raises the bar, bringing his A+ game to the table as he gives us the story of Pres, from his point of view. You’ll get to see that tender side that Pres hides behind that tough exterior and all of your questions get answered as this story sucks you right into the world of BFH....well all but one! In true Kidman fashion, he left me cursing him at the end, while jumping for joy, knowing more great stories will be coming from the guys of BFH, because Jaxson couldn’t possibly leave this question unanswered...could he?! A definite must read if you loved the BFH series & if you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for? Coleen W

Love, pain, heartache, laughter, family, and so much more that you will experience through out this book. I thought understood why The Rulz were so protective of Tinsley. But reading this book through Pres' eyes made me understand so much more. So many twists and turns through out the book. I was constantly kept on my toes waiting to see what was going to happen next. I felt every emotion these characters felt. I was pissed off at times and laughing at other times. I would get so frustrated and wished I was the one to throw a punch. If you like to read books that touch your heart take a chance on the ENTIRE BFH series. Jaxson Kidman will take you on a roller coaster ride if emotions. This is a Masterpiece. Bravo Jaxson.
Meeting Pres through Tinsley's eyes is one thing, but seeing BFH from his view will have you falling so deep into the Rulz you'll never want to come back out! Jaxson never ceases to amaze me with the worlds he creates, but being able to get a view from a character that you loved from the first part of the series...there aren't words to adequately describe how amazing this book is. You'll get all in your emotions laughing, crying, angry, and then just swoon. Get the book. You will NOT regret it!
To be read after UNTouched, UNLoved and UNTamed. Those events were through Tinsley's eyes. This is after the events from there. And through Pres' point of view. We get a little more of an insight on Pres. Things are heating up. Someone is after the Rulz boys. And will do anything to get to them. Loving how Jaxson is spinning the series' and that they're interconnected.
Kips book is next. Coming 1st December.
But to tide you over til then, Nova and Elijah's book Hidden Creek Again, is coming 1st October.
What another awesome book by Jaxson! This was taking Pres from BFH and taking him down his own private path and that included a lot of hell and heartbreak. I really enjoyed seeing more into his life, how it began and the twists and turns that I was hoping to explore. That of course made me wonder about even more things. It's a great book, but don't take my word for it, go read it through the eyes of Pres.
Another amazing book from jaxson. I couldn't put it down from start to finish I had to stop adulting for the day but was truly worth it. Not one single book of his has ever failed me. I'm not going to spoil it and tell you what it's about. If you haven't read any of the BFH books I suggest you do. You wont regret it. But read them before pres.
I can't wait to read kip and Barr's books. A must read !! A well and truly desered 5 * for me.
I love that we get to hear more of the Rulz through Pres’s point of view. I laughed and I cried while getting into Pres’s head, hearing his take on everything, including relationships with his mum, his dad, and obviously his love for Tinsley. I would love to hear more about these two in the future. I really can’t wait to read Kip and Barr’s stories in their own words.
Pres is the first book in a sequel/spinoff series focusing on the male leads of the first three books in the Bay Falls High series. The last three books in that series deals with a different set of characters which the books in this series has nothing to do with.
I enjoyed delving further into lives of these characters. You get to see some big conclusions to things evolving pressure from the BFH books. You don't have to read this book for a conclusive ending of course, but if you'd like to continue with the story so to speak, here you go.
With that being said, I didn't like it as much as BFH. There was a lot less angst and anticipation within the story, and I don't think Pres' character held quite the same amount of allure or intensity for lack of a better would as he did in BFH.
I would definitely say go ahead and pick it up if you enjoyed BFH, but expect a bit of a different tone.
I loved this series, loved the story, loved the rulz.. all 3 of them. But I absolutely despise Tinsley. She’s a winey abusive *****. Every time she slapped or punched one of the boys, I wanted to jump into the book and do the same to her. These guys may have been ********, but they never once hurt her or intentionally put her in harms way. They did everything to protect her and she did nothing but abuse them. I felt no real connection on her end between her and Pres. I feel she had a stronger connection to Kip. I absolutely adored Pres in this book, my heart went out to him so many times. He deserved better, IMO.
I actually liked the story of Pres better then the BFH series. At least we got to see how he felt about Ti. But no matter what they call themselves “the Rulz” or BC. They are still “gangs”. The difference is that these are rich kids. Except I’m assuming they are young adults now, Ti’s friends are 20? And was asked if they are graduating? I’m sorry most kids finish high school at 17-18. I also thought he should’ve done an actual proposal at the end, you know one knee...ring... oh well. Maybe I’ll read about Barr next. Haven’t decided yet.
>Book Review – Pres >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Bay Falls High – the Rulz series and ends in an HEA. This book gets in the head of Pres from the Bay Falls High series. He was the most mysterious of the 3 members of the Rulz. There is a lot of backstory showing a lack of love from Pres’ father and how that lack made a difference in Pres’ life. Pres starts to show a lot more empathy after he falls for Tinsley, especially helping her friend get out of a dangerous situation. >Pres shows his frustration by lashing out at Tinsley, almost pushing her away for good. Pres really has a lot going on for a high school kid. He owns so much real estate and has practically raised himself. He really acts like a college aged student. Pres seems a lot more human once the reader is invited in to his head. >This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars.
This picks up right where we left off - This was fun because we get to hear from Pres POV which is delightful because he is one fantastic piece of man. Perfect story to go with what happened in the previous books. Hearing from Pres POV was refreshing and seeing things through his eyes completely changed him as a man in my opinion. I would really really like to see their future though, but that may just be me.
I enjoyed seeing life from the perspective of Pres, I much prefer a book when both main characters share their story. I don’t think this trouble with BC is going away after what Mac said but I will find out in Kip & Barr’s stories. I’m hoping Pres & Ti are married when I download Kip’s book.
Really enjoyed the continuation of this story through the eyes of Pres. I felt for him and the pain when his mother passed. It seemed he was dealt a messed up hand since his mom started getting sick. Finally, at the end he deserved to be happy and end up with Tinsley. I guess I will continue with Lip and Barr.
He suffered so much so had she they both similar pass but still different but love made them stronger I cried when his mom died and when he was cruel to her cause he was hurting ❤❤❤
I absolutely love Pres and Tinsley and was so anxious to see their story. This book was everything I was expecting and more. Can't wait for Barr and Kip books!!
I'm not sure what it was exactly but I enjoyed this book way more then I did Tinsleys books. The writing just seemed different and I like Pres point of view. So if you were on the fence about Tinsleys books like I was but still liked the boys I would recommend reading this.
PRES, Bay Falls High - The Rulz Book #1 By Jaxson Kidman
What a great start for this series! I loved getting a deeper perspective of Pres. Getting his POV was very enlightening to the Bay Falls High books as well as this one. I liked Pres in the 1st three books, but seeing him in this one and the way he cares about Tinsley has made me put him at the top of my favorite list! “Seeing” Tinsley and Pres together and getting his emotional connection to her was so heartwarming! There were a lot of questions answered about Pres's parents and his background that has made him who he is. I am anxiously looking forward to Kip and Barr's books, to see what is in store for them.
Every time I pick up a Jaxson Kidman book I know I am in for a great read. He is a master of what he creates, and he always throws in twists and turns that you do not expect. You feel every emotion, heartache, turmoil, his characters do. You will get a very solid story, great characters that are totally fleshed out, passion, chemistry, drama, intrigue, and a whole list of surprises. I have never found one of Jaxson's books that did not more than meet my high expectations. Pres is definitely a 5 star read!
If you thought that BFH Trilogy was done with UnTamed (last book) then you thought wrong. Jaxson Kidman gave us Pres's POV and it was PERFECT!! It was, like always, very well and beautifully written. Full of real emotions, emotions that grabbed and squezzed your heart to the point that made you feel the pain of that fictional character, and yes I cried so hard but I laughed as much too. Pres's book showed to us what we didn't see on BFH. It showed the loving, caring and vulnerable side of Pres, it showed the reasons why Pres was the way he was (tough/harsh guy), it showed us the sadness that made him a protector of the one he loves the most, but overall it showed us that no matter how hard he tried to be he had a weakness that brought him to his knee, and that my friends was Tinsley Ditkiss. I'm not gonna lied this book surprised me more than anything and made me like Pres way more than I thought and I'm sure you will too. So, if you haven't done it yet please read it, you won't be disappointed!!
