There is a people group today that will unflinchingly kill or destroy the reputation of anyone with any political influence that doesn't subserviently support their agenda to rule the world, and James Forrestal was one of several high profile people they expunged throughout the later half of the 20th century. This is an easy to follow account of the events surrounding Forrestal's untimely death and the cover-up that followed.

Fantastic book! For the first time ever, the proofs presented and the author's thoroughly reasoning have convinced me that James Forrestal was indeed assassinated.

Once again, court historians show what their mission is: covering up the deeds of the powers that be.

A sad state of national affairs

Mr. Forrestal was a patriot and outspoken in his beliefs--a Catholic of Quaker upbringing. Several forces worked against
him and his goals for National security. Evilness abounded around him and these forces coalesced to kill him. He knew they
had him on hit list as quoted by Robert Lovett "Bob, they are after me". He might have been protected as Mr Bevin of England was by the "higher ups" who foiled those planned hits. Truman, Bernard Baruch, Robert Lovett and others could have done the same for
Forrestal perhaps. Why they chose not to extend protection only they know. This man could not have committed suicide. This book goes a long way toward showing he did not want or plan to die. Also, theories with some documentation are proffered to suggest what groups profited by his death and had opportunity to effect it.

Precursor to Kennedy; David Martin makes a pretty convincing case that what happened to James Forrestal was NOT suicide. He grinds a sharp axe and the book could have been considerably shorter. I am glad I read it because what I gained is needed for my work.

James Vincent Forestall was assassinated by pro-Zionist thugs.Be aware that this is a very detailed investigation.Never thought the Israel lobby was so powerful so early, in the forties. And to think I started reading about the connection between Forrestal's death and wait for it... Roswell.

A must-read just for Americans to appreciate what Forrestal did for the Nation in WWII. Unfortunately, the case built by author David Martin has not been taken up by the historians of our country (through apathy, willful blindness, fear?) and the record seems to not be getting corrected.

Interesting book. Please note that the other reviewer "Charles L." is a racist troll, the only one who gave this a 1 star for the purpose of trolling.

This book should be required reading

I knew that this was bad back when I was only a teen. Then came all the lies. The books available all were ridiculous, and gave little info.
Then came the Freedom of Information Act. I'm so very glad that Americans can now sue for their own historical record to be revealed, and the truth is being told.

Thanks to all the Truth Seekers who got this act passed.
