ONE MIND-BLOWING ADVENTURE!!!
Thrilling! Churton hit the motherload, weaving a cocoon so intricately and tight, drawing you deeper into this tangled web, until everything else ceases to exist. A raging tempest thrusts those swirling emotions into a tizzy with a life altering, mind-blowing culmination. One non-stop, action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, nailbiting, page flipping bombshell, fusing this baby together piece by piece. Add drama, intrigue, turmoil and mounting suspense along with a boatload of danger while dodging dastardly intentions, makes for one block busting adventure. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that transform into amazing personalities. The scenes are so abundantly detailed and descriptive to give you a full understanding and realism that balance and blend smoothly. Remarkable job Churton, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This is a great second book! Carrying on from book one this is a well written suspenseful Urban Fantasy that shows us good and evil aren’t always what they seem. As we follow Anna and Scott on the run there’s suspense, action, hate, love, and tons of twists and turns and let’s not forget the sass and the snark!! Love it!

This is book two in the TalentBorn series and continues the story of Anna and Scott as they try to escape the organization that wanted to use Anna’s power for evil. Anna has the power of transportation, she can move from one location to another, but only when she is really scared or terrified! She has only just come into this power and doesn’t have much control over it. Scott is one with the power to locate others with powers, called absa’s. He found Anna and recruited her to the secret organization, but then helped to save her when he found out they were trying to make her a weapon and hold her against her will.

All they have to go on is that there is apparently a group called the Ishmaelians, who are an outcast and reclusive group of those with powers, who have kept themselves hidden from everyone else. They have no idea of their location and will have to rely on Scott’s ability to locate them. They are being hunted down by Scott’s former employers and don’t know who they can trust. They have a general direction to head into and will just have to continue until he can sense anyone else with powers. The death of one of Anna’s friends draws them back into the sights of the enemy and leaves them running for their lives again. Anna has no wish to end up in a cage and be experimented upon by the organisation and the only other choice would have been death, if she tried to leave, so they are now exiles, on the run and trying to find a group they have never heard of before.

They have left a few friends behind and some other staff that assisted them in their escape and located the information they are relying upon for their possible new life. But when they find this reclusive group, can they trust them any more than the previous organisation? Will they just want Anna’s power for their own purposes? They will have to find out what this group will want with them and whether they will help to bring down their former organisation or not. It seems this new group have their own agenda and whether this will clash, is going to be very important for Anna and Scott. Going up against the main organisation is going to be dangerous, if not deadly, and will take all the strength they have.

Anna and Scott need to make use of their powers to survive and to find their way to finding out who their true friends are and who they can depend on for their future life. A story of those with powers, some using them for their own evil purposes and another group who have become outcasts from society and don’t have any use for those without any powers. An important character that both Anna and Scott end up relying upon, is a police officer from book one, who is curious about Anna and ends up helping them a lot in book two, in their wish to destroy the organisation that would have experimented on her and just used her for their own purposes. This second book allows Anna and Scott to make their escape and find others like themselves, but also decide on the sort of life they want for the future. A worthy addition to the series. I received an ARC copy of the book and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Exiled (TalentBorn Book 2) by C. S. Churton is such an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two out of four in this awesome series that I have fallen in love with since book number one. I can not wait to read the next book and to finish this series. Oh man! What an intense continuation of this story. We pick up right where we left off in the 1st book, Awakening where Both Anna and Scott are in hiding and looking for the Ishmaelians. Once they find them, they are required to prove their loyalties by helping the Ishmaelians retrieve something AbGen has stolen from them. No pressure. Piece of pie…right? Such a unique world and cast of characters woven into this mysterious adventure. Cannot wait to learn what is in store for us next!

Cliffhanger

If you read my review of book one you would know that I would have given it five stars if it hadn’t ended in a cliffhanger. This one is much the same. Together the two books are part of one story and I won’t know if I would give it five stars until I finish the book.

We have suspense, action, hate, love, and trust issues. Anna and Scott are on the run from AbGen. They are looking for the Ishmaelians. When they find them can they trust them? Will they help them? Can they take down the AbGen group? Who can they trust in the AbGen? Can Anna learn to control her shifting? Who is following them? Can they trust them? Will they cause them harm? Will the Ishmaelians help them take down the AbGen group? What will happen if they get caught? Who will save them then? Can they help the others?
