Madeline and her best friend Charlie have finally completed their first year of college she’s looking forward to the summer but she’s not looking forward to going home it has nothing to do with her dad’s new wife no it has to do with her stepbrother Ethan. Ethan is so full of himself Madeline says and because he’s two years older than her he thinks that he knows everything then Charlie said to Madeline you have a crush on him don’t ya and Madeline said eww he’s my stepbrother so no but Charlie kept teasing her, Madeline admitted that he was good looking but he knew it so no Madeline wasn’t interested. Ethan was sitting on the lounge when his mother Ruth asked him to do her a favour she wanted him to go and pick up Madeline from the train station but Ethan said no he hates her and she is just too immature but Ruth pleaded with him she said that she promised Vic her husband that she would pick Madeline up but her work called and she has to go and deal with an important client, Ethan felt guilty for saying no to his mother so he said that he will pick her up. When Ethan saw Madeline he saw how shiny her hair is and how long her legs are he imagined going up to her and pulling Madeline against his body and smashing his lips against hers, he doesn’t know where these images are coming from but his wolf wanted to come out and claim Madeline for his own. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story, it’s a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read. Alexis got the name of the book wrong it should be Forbidden Wolf not Bear.

The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!

Oh and this wasn’t a Forbidden Bear!!!! I just wanted so much more of this story. I loved Madeline and Ethan. I was hoping that Charlie was also a wolf but 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️I was surprised with the secret her dad kept from her. I would have been happy for Lee to have gotten his ass kicked by Ethan. On to the next story. Coming to the end of this series and I’m sad about that. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊

This is a great fun read about forbidden love even if it is social mores that are setting the barriers. The only thing is what has it to do with bears they are all wolf shifters

Madeline isn't looking forward to going home for the summer school break as she will have to deal with her new step brother Ethan She finds him super attractive but the problem is that he knows that eh is good looking and is a bit of a new it all. This time though the attraction is mutual Will they be able to walk away from one another when their relationship isn't socially acceptable What makes it even harder is that Ethan is a wolf shifter and his wolf is yelling mate extremely loudly. Will she be able to handle his secret and what happens when her secret comes out she is a shifter as well All together a fun read though i did get a little frustrated as some times they came across as young and childish.

Madeline's dad has gotten remarried since she left home and now she is coming home to a new step-mother and step-brother. Not sure what to expect she definitely didn't think she would have such a strong attraction to her step-brother. Ethan knows Madeline is his mate the minute he meets her but isn't sure how to deal with that. Their attraction is forbidden since they are step-siblings but even that can't stop them in the end. What will their parents say about them being together? Can they be together given how they started out?

This is a great story that will captivate you form the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Madeline comes home from college to find her feelings for her stepbrother Ethan have changed.
Madeline and her friend Charlie head home after their first year at college but Madeline will be heading back to a home that changed a year ago after her Father remarried. His new wife Ruth and her son Ethan who is two years older than Madeline are now part of her family but she had found it hard to get on with Ethan.. Ruth asks Ethan to pick Madeline up from the rail station as she has been called into work and he reluctantly agrees. When Wolf shifter Ethan looks a Madeline his wolf wants her and judging by the look she is giving him she has had the same reaction.

FORBIDDEN BEAR is the story of two college students, whose parents got married. Disliking each other on first sight, they are surprised when there is an instant attraction between them when they meet at the end of the college year. Ethan is a wolf shifter and recognises Madeline as his mate. But social rules forbid them to be together, as they are now officially brother and sister.
A nice, fairly straight forward story, with a touch of not fitting into the social norms.
The title is something I do not get - there is no bear in a relevant part of the story.

A really good shifter romance. 💞🐺❤️️💞

This is a really good step-sibling/wolf shifter romance that is pretty emotional. Madeline finally comes home for a visit from college but she's still not happy or comfortable about it. When her father married Ethan's mom, Ruth, it was a surprise for both kids. They didn't get along and Madeline had no idea about shifters. But life has a few more surprises for this young couple. This is a fairly quick read but it's a good one.💗🔥💕

The reworked title and cover fit this book much better. 😉❣️

I had a hard time getting into this story because I felt like even though Madeline and Ethan were younger they were both a little too childish for me. I felt like by the middle of the book they were doing better and I liked that in the end they both turned out to be shifters. I was very thrown off by the fact that this is called Forbidden Bear but none of them are bears they are wolves.

Why is this story named, Forbidden Bear? I spent a lot of time looking for the bear. This was a good story. Nice flow. Had to remind myself to breathe a few times. I wasn't a fan of Madeline's problem solving skills. I attributed it to her youth, but still no excuse. Charlie is a good bf, she's a star! The characters were great. Well done! The title is a major distraction though. I received this book as an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Forbidden Bear by Alexis Davie is an amazing story that I have read. I love reading this book very much cause I love reading about shifters in my stories and really love them when romance is involved. Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

Madeline and Ethan aren't related, or are they? The author did a great job of depicting the issues step-siblings have from hating each other to not hating each other. This was a quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This has a great plot line and stepbrother storyline. The story is a fun and very enjoyable read. This is easy to follow and has a great flow to the story. I am confused where the title "Forbidden Bear" relates to the story as there is no mention of bears in the story and Ethan is a wolf shifter.

The title is wrong since the story is about Wolf shifters, so I'mm not sure about that issue, this the 4 stars. The story is really well written and and the characters are great. Secrets are revealed and love is found. If you are looking for short book with an HEA then this is a great book for you.
