Meryl Yourish has managed to turn her love of cats and reading fantasy into creating a fictional world where cats have human intelligence and magical powers. It's no coincidence that some of the major Catmages look remarkably like cats that are or were in her life.

When she's not writing about Catmages, she's working on fantasy novels. A trilogy about the last dragon is in the works.

Ok this is the 5th & final book in the series, so realllllly can’t say much lol But WOWZA! This is definitely now 1 of my all time favorite series. This was so incredible. The writing, the pace, the characters, the plot, the flow & how everything unravels with the perfect timing, & more. I absolutely loved how this all came together, & was so happy with the endings for all of my favorites who I have fallen so in love with over this series. Such a satisfying conclusion. I absolutely loved the authors take on the bully story in here, & everything that happened with that. Really impressed by so many aspects in general with these. I read these so fast, & never wanted to put them down. Each chapter ending left me wanting more, & needing to keep going & see what was going to happen next. HIGHLY recommend! Another BEAUTIFUL cover by Julie Dillon too.💜
