Ever since Sadie opened up her coffee spot The Brew Lounge next to Liam's store front, he's tried to ignore the petite beauty at every turn. I’m kind of on the fence about Christmas With You. The storyline was cute but, the writing was not up to my liking. At times, this book was very PG-13. It’s like the author would throw in an occasional cuss word to make it an adult book. The attraction between Sadie and Liam didn’t feel genuine at all. The book starts out with them being enemies of sort because, Sadie bought the business next door to Liam’s garage. The previous owner promised him, when he was ready to sell, he would sell it to Liam. Well, that didn’t happen and Liam takes an instant dislike to Sadie and starts lashing out like a child. Because they disliked each other so intensely, their sudden attraction to one another seemed forced. It felt like they were only attracted to each other because, everyone was telling them they were attracted to each other. I really wanted to like Christmas With You but, it was just okay to me. This was my first book by Genesis Woods and I wasn’t wowed. I’m hoping the second book in this series fares better.

Well, that was a turn of events! Sadie moving across the country from Minnesota to California to open her coffee shop, was almost derailed due to Liam's childish behavior! Everyone is town loves Sadie, her coffee shop and her cheerful demeanor. However, Liam still pouting because he wanted her storefront, decides to make her life hell, by taunting her like a child! I couldn't believe the lengths he went through to keep her from getting her permits and such! Then continued to just be an ass, because he couldn't reconcile his feelings for her! Ughhh..... 🤬 Sadie tried to take it all in stride, but she began to give it right back to him. Why am I attracted to this man, when he is constantly throwing tantrums? (She didn't say that, but she had to be thinking it)! 😂 So, Liam finally decides to go for it, and tell Sadie how he felt. BAM! They hot and heavy, and now they go together! It was almost comical! Cute story. 👍👍👍

If you’re looking for a quick cute Christmas story, look no further. This reminded me of a cute Hallmark movie. This was well written, the author managed to give us background, storyline, and great character introductions in under 60 pages. What started off as a hate-hate relationship, quickly turned into a spicy romp. I’ve never paid too much attention to tropes, but I enjoyed this enemies to lovers short and looking forward to reading similar stories. This whole time Sadie thought this man hated her guts and he really just wanted to rearrange them. He was a little too slick at the mouth for me, but I love that they managed to come to an understanding. I wouldn’t mind seeing how things pan out for them in the future, but I’m satisfied with the way this author managed to wrap this up in a pretty bow.

This was a cute short💕
Oh-kay Queen Genesis definitely have us a cute enemies to lovers short.
For a whole year and some change Liam held a grudge just to keep from admitting he had a thang for Sadie. The hell he took her through when she first moved to town and bought the building he wanted was crazy, lol. That well that he built came tumbling down when his Grandpa made him realize his true feelings and the fact that his cousin Jake was gonna ask her out. I'm glad Jake forced him to admit his feelings and they were pretty much forced to have a heart to heart when they got snowed into their business's together. I did wish it was longer😁

Genesis Woods never ceases to Amaze me with her books. The way every page you turn makes you feel as though you are there with the characters. From her description of Liam and Sadie. Truly remarkable!
Yasss hunny!! Who doesn’t love a good enemies to lovers romance. I know I do and this one was perfect. I couldn’t imagine Liam and Sadie ever getting past the hate they had for each other or at least that the way it seemed from Liam’s perspective. Sadie was more relaxed and receptive. But everyone knew better than them and I am more than happy they let the sparks fly. Definitely would love to read more about them and can’t wait until what’s next.

Short but fulfilling....
I enjoyed this short story and loved the atmosphere it was set in. The small town where one family holds all of the major occupations and political positions are priceless. It seemed like Sadie would not fit but she did and was prospering. She and Liam had a grade school crush but it was cute to see their interactions.
This was a great read and I am about to indulge in the next Brenton short. I would recommend download, relax, and read.

Not enough recovery time…
I was immediately turned off by Liam’s sassy and mean spirited behavior towards Sadie. While their ages were not given, any age beyond six, made his behavior highly unsat!
I would be sorely disappointed in any grown man carrying on as he did even if he was fighting his feelings which bordered not only immature but dumb.
By the time of their chance encounter, it had simply not been enough recovery time.
This book did not do it for me.

Another hit!
This Christmas short story was nothing less than fantastic. Although it was short, it was a great storyline and I loved the way that Liam and Sadie’s hatred toward each other was simply a coverup for their attraction toward each other. This book has the great potential to become a full blown novel.

Wow
Okay Ms. Woods has penned a well packaged short sexy story. I enjoyed Liam and Sadie’s back and forth and their coming together. The dynamics of this small town and main family is hilarious this story reads like a well written sitcom and that is what makes it a great quick read! New couple goals🥰

Cute
This short story was cute, funny and lighthearted. I enjoyed Liam and Sadie's relationship; it was obvious that they were enamored with each other. Ok, so they did act like middle schoolers who didn't know how to express their interest in each other - that's where the humor came in. Good, quick read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a short escape.

Holiday Short
Tell me why I want to pack my bags and move to Brenton😂 Liam was such a jerk in the beginning. Clearly everyone loves Sadie so his actions really seem bad but Sadie had the right sense of humor to deal with him! Such a sweet and sassy holiday short!

Love and Hate business owners
Liam and Sadie’s love story was short but sweet. You know how the saying goes when we were kids; if a little boy pick at you or call you names it meant he like you. I know if the theory is true, but with two characters is was true and entertaining.

Can't fight the attraction 😍
I enjoy reading about Sadie and Liam they're attracted to each other but Liam doesn't want to admit it. I enjoyed the characters and the flow of their story.

Love this short story!
Another added to my list! This is the first and definitely not the last book I've read by her. Liam and Sadie couldn't see what everyone else could. Liam's cousins and grandfather were too funny. Read this story you will not be disappointed!

perfect holiday story
