Cells seemed nice and I was glad she was finally getting her mate and I LOVE 💕Tigers!!!!! And my favorite shifter of course are Tiger 🐯 shifters soo I was hoping to absolutely love this....
Sadly Cyrus being a tiger 🐯 shifter ended up part of problem.

That “church” of hate is at it again and Cyrus almost dies .
He doesn’t thanks to Cella refusing to give up and the blood of the other vampires . Cyrus must be “turned” to survive. To “live”. Problem is it does and doesn’t take. I’ll try not to say to much but Cyrus becomes a type of “tri” being .. He’s now human,”tiger” and “vampire”.. the quotes are because he’s enough of one to mess up the other some but not fully any of them.
What was my problem ? While Cyrus didn’t complexly lose his Tiger, it was severely muted and he didn’t have fully access to it and could no longer shift to it.
Now while he die have some Kick A powers from it combining w/his new Vamp. side and with Mishka being one of his top blood contributors ( his “turning” was a kinda group effort w/Cyrus feeling like four “sires” not one) and he craves raw meat along with a certain type of blood,he does ok.
But losing the ability to shift and just enough tiger to say he was one was odd. And I’m sorry but I don’t believe one) I shifter could or should really lose something such a HUGE part of who they are . But second) I don’t believe for a second ANY shifter would have Cyrus’s overly accepting attitude towards it.
Cyrus is angry for about five seconds in the book when he first awakes this new rare creature and runs off out of their chamber and I’d taken to Mishka where he gets some shifter blood and calms down and he spends the rest of the book on and off apologizing for ever being upset with his “precious “ beloved.
Seriously ? Cyrus deserved to be angry 😡. He lost something that was irreplaceable. He lost a huge part of who he was. A shifter losing their animal, usually makes them insane. Now,ok it was still there technically but it was severely muted and he couldn’t shift. That’s not something that he should have gotten over soo easily . It would be worse than losing a limb. Soo much of his identity should have been tied in his tiger. Now in my opinion a shifters inner animal shouldn’t just be an animal they can shift into it should have character and personality and be like having a friend that ,Ives inside of you.
But it seems anymore Ms. Butlers “sweethearts” aren’t allowed to fight or be upset or have any kind of discord w/each other. I’m not looking for lots of unneeded drama , and while Cella HAD to do what she could to save her man/male/mate a loss this huge shouldn’t have gone unmourned and just swept away faster that any upset in a cheesy Hallmark movie .
Then, then if that wasn’t bad enough when Cyrus is fearing losing not only his family but possibly access to other shifter over fears of his need for blood being to dangerous or volatile for him to be around them. He ,after finding out thankfully he can, he only needs blood once every two weeks, tells his overly precious beloved, it doesn’t matter if he couldn’t ever be around another shifter for the rest of eternity as long as he has her.
Seriously ?!?!?!
First Cyrus wants to put off mating because it’s soo vital to hm to be able to do it the traditional tiger way,soo Cella can join his ambush ( sadly I knew the moment he wanted to put it off it was a set up for something ) and the next he’s willing to not only let all the go w/out a single word of protest or upset .
Really ?!?!? WTH?!?!?
That makes NO sense. Yeah, sure his mate should be his main priority but we’re talking losing his tiger ( mainly) , his family , his culture everything he’s ever known It that’s ok, he’s got Cella ?
Seriously ?
Come on,that soo would not fly if he was say African-American or Native American or Muslim or something where he could NEVER see his ppl again in order to be safe.
Now he might to be w/his love and keep everyone safe but not easily, not w/out pain and some heart break and som3 anger and tears. But Cyrus never seems to b3 bothered. It’s just kinda O well,that’s life . I’m sorry I upset my precious .
Dear lord, no one expects PNR to feel like real life per se. but come on these overly sweet and nice characters who act like this , come off faker and less real than the cheesiest Hallmark movie . Now don’t get me wrong I love both Ms. Butler and Hallmark ( when they aren’t trying to force Christmas on me in July or October or January or you know all those months that AREN’T Christmas???)but the over sweetness to the point you feel like you could get mental diabetes if there was such a thing ,. The over sweetness cheated the characters from truly feeling their pZin and emotions and kept them from feeling really real and left them just sad caricatures on a page.

I stumbled into this one and hadn't read the first installment, but I enjoyed Need . Though I'm usually not a fan of insta-love and much prefer the angst-ridden slowburn, the H/h chemistry was pretty good, and the external trouble they faced compelled me sufficiently to get over how fast they got together. The tribrid, extra-skilled-vamp plot reminded me a bit of JR Ward's Butch, but it was handled pretty well, so despite leaning a bit far to the overpowered-character side, it didn't bother me.
My favorite part, of course, were the few pages of angst after the heroine . Would've enjoyed expanding on that a bit. Complicated emotional loads are my jam.
Overall, a fun, light read. Closer to 3.5/5, but engrossing enough that I rounded up.

Very Sweet
Cyrus is a tiger shifter. Cella is vampire. Both are lonely and restless. Once they meet they are not parted. Cells so excited to have a Beloved. Cyrus is so content. There is some tension with the evil church of vampire haters. Cyrus becomes something new. Really enjoyed this story.

Need
The characters in this book have such diverse characters and abilities it makes it a very interesting story. A new type of shifter is created during a very dangerous and scary incident. I loved this book so much and can't wait to start the next one in the series. Fabulous!!!

Fast paced, with lots of unexpected twists
I really enjoy this series, and this book! Cyrus and Cella are such a great pair, and the change to Cyrus is so promising for their coven. I can’t wait to see how the Church retaliates!

cella’s time
Glad to see Cella found her beloved. I loved the banter between Cryus and Cella. Loved the heat between them and how Cryus ‘s family was so accepting. Happy she found her man and then some.

When that hate church went and put a bomb in the place they were building the only 1 that really suffered was Cyrus. When he 1st wakes up he's beyond pissed and that's understandable under the circumstances but in a way it became a very unique situation on him. It was really good!!

It was a fun read. The story was a little slow in parts, but I still enjoyed it even if parts were not how I wanted them to be.

Cella's book I think I was most waiting for this one after Mishka's book so to finally have it was great. This was an amazing read and I cannot wait for the next book.

The Vampire Coven needed a restaurant built. The tiger Ambush runs a construct company and Cyrus ended up on it. That's all you get lol it's a super fun read full of action, drama, amazing characters, mystery, spice and so much more. It was great to read how two characters developed together.
You got to read it because I couldn't put it down. Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it

I enjoyed Cella’s feisty side. She’s strong, independent and lonely. One look at Cyrus and she’s gone, head over heels. Cyrus is a great guy and he’s willing to do anything to make Cella safe and happy. When the bad guys strike again, leaving Cyrus critically injured, the entire coven steps up. Cyrus’ enhanced powers were a great addition to the story. I liked that his desire to protect his family, both coven and ambush, helped him find and hone them. Cyrus’ king impressed me with how he was the one to meet Cyrus before allowing his pride to be in possible danger and how he welcomed Cyrus and Cella to the ambush made me smile. There’s a bit of intrigue, the tiniest bit of angst, plenty of spicy moments and a whole lot of love.

What an amazing series to get so immersed in that you just can not quit. Book two of the Vampire Beloved series. Wonderful complicated charaters that just want to find the one person meant for them. Cella has seen it happen, but she does not want to wait a thousand years, she is ready now. Tiger shifter Cyrus has a new job, head of construction on a new vampire run restuarant. In walks Cella to look it over, thats all it took. But life would not be that easy. these are dangerous times. Can they survive it one piece and still figure out how a shifter and a vampire can make it work. Great book by an amazing author. Can't wait for more.

I have to say I think this is my favourite, I actually thought brone and arissa was my favourite but I have to say this exceeds it .
I'm not going to say a lot but you will regret never reading these books . That's all I'm saying

Omg this book was great from the beginning of the story plot I was glued in I love how re right her fated mates and this book had all the feel good. Great adventure with smoking hot love scene and a great love story.

I love visiting Cleveland! The supernatural's are all so friendly. It's some of the humans you have to watch out for! Love how all of the different characters are coming together. Kind of like visiting old friends.

I thought book 1 was a good read but this book is better. I love the relationship between Cella and Cyrus.
