I write action-packed sci-fi and historical fantasy. I want to immerse readers in another time and place and for my stories to be gripping adventures. You should love my complex heroes and hate the twisted bad guys.

If you like the sound of that then check out; GODS OF BRONZE (my new historical fantasy series), THE IMMORTAL KNIGHT CHRONICLES (bestselling historical fantasy) and the GALACTIC ARENA series (smart military scifi).

Thanks for taking an interest in my stories. Follow me here on Goodreads to keep up to date with releases.

As an enigmatic revenant prepares to assassinate young King Henry VIII in his headquarters at the siege of Therouanne in the summer of 1513, he also eliminates any problematic people along the way. Meanwhile, Sir Richard and the Order of the White Dagger work desperately to intercept him before he reaches the king.

The bigger questions are who created this monster...and why? This novella is a medieval version of THE DAY OF THE JACKAL and sets the stage for Dan Davis's next novel - VAMPIRE ARMADA.

This short story packs the same punch that fans of the Immortal Knight Chronicles have come to expect from any tale of this epic adventure series.

This was great. Love to have more women apart of the Order. They are lucky to have Goodie.

A GREAT SHORT STORY.

Yes it really is a great little story, bridging the gap between two of Dans Vampire series of books. If you've been a follower of them, then this little tale will be right up your street.
All that said, might I make a suggestion to you Dan. We hear a lot about Richard and his friends in the books, but very little about his evil brother William, just the odd mention, although we know he's always around some where.
It would be nice to hear things from his point of view once in a while, just to give a more balanced point of view of the whole story.
A short written book, much like this one in fact, would be a good place to start explaining things from his point of view and for what reason..
Other than that, a excellent little read.
