Laura grew up in a small town in central Utah and now lives in another small town in northern Utah. She always loved stargazing and imagining life outside her own little world. Though they grew up only thirty miles apart, she didn't meet her husband until they went to college. A graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, Laura has been using that training as she raises her children and writes make believe worlds. You can usually find her on her laptop either typing away, or on social media interacting with friends.
Another pleasant read in the fun Twickenham Series. I liked the main character's personality and how they didn't immediately fall for the love interest. I love that music was involved to bring them together. I feel pretty satisfied with the ending. I just wish there was a little more conflict/higher stakes.

• I like the Twickenham time travel series. I have read 10 of them and find them very enjoyable.
• Danielle and Colin were likeable characters who had both decided that marriage and love were not for them.
• This was a clean read and I appreciated that.
• There were quite a few wrong word errors such as falling for feeling. Sometimes words were missing. However, they did not interfere with comprehension.
This is the third Twickenham Time Travel book I've read. While I enjoyed the book, I had a harder time getting into this story than the other two by Ms. Bastian. This is not my usual genre. Danielle had spent a week at the Twickenham Manor when she was transported back to 1855. She is biding her time to return to her own time. Colin is finding out ways to help his estate. Neither is looking for love, but sometimes the unexpected happens. A clean read.
Another beautiful story. I just love how Danielle is portrayed with a sweet spirit and gracefulness. Her personality just sucked me right in as if I were there. I just can’t get enough of the Twickenham books. I will be sad when there are no more. Maybe some more will be added. 🤞

MY TAKE Another fun story in the Twickenham time travel world. Danielle was an engaging young woman, and it was fun to see her adjust to the new time. Colin was an odd duck in some ways. It was hilarious when he jumped to conclusions and accused Danielle of trying to trap him in marriage. But he was inexplicably drawn to her. That doesn't exactly set up the best way to court a woman. lol
It was fun to see Sir Jack and Melanie again. Danielle traveled to a time four years after Melanie's little adventure.
I generally enjoy the Twickenham books, if only as quick novels to read when I want to relax for a couple of hours ... but oh man, this one really just seemingly went on forever without much going on just to suddenly kind of fall apart at the very end.
