Dear Honesty Price,
Please take all my presale money from here on out!! Thank you in advance!
No, but seriously... this book was amusing, brilliant, and captivating.
Amusing because Greg raised the bar with his one-liners and comeback game. He was funny as hell, and Ivy was a worthy ally. When they were together and throwing jabs back and forth, I was always secretly pumping one up over the other, because believe or not, I was invested in who won the battle!
Brilliant. Ummmmm, an educated black woman creating a dating app for us and solving a need in the process!! Need I say more? You gotta read it to fully appreciate the value of AnyTime, AnyBae! Plus Greg was a bonafide, proud member of the IDGAF club, and I appreciated that about him.
Captivating. Greg. Ivy. Hawaii. Video chats. Poles. Oh my. This book grabbed me from the very first line and did not let go. This was one of those stories where I didn't pay attention to how much I read or how much was remaining, I was just engrossed in the words and storyline. One thing that truly sucked me in was the seriousness and dedication set aside to how family pressure and expectations can change a person. This wasn't glossed over and it shouldn't have been.
Great start; I'll definitely be hanging around for the rest of the series. M.T. Dixon is up next.
