4-4.5 stars I’ve read and enjoyed several books from Honesty Price, and this is one of my favorites! I really enjoy her writing and characters. This book was *almost* 5 stars for me, but the family’s arrangement with QK didn’t really make sense to me; and Greg also forgave Ivy too easily in the third act, imo. Still, I really liked this book and I look forward to reading through the author’s backlist. 💛

Wild Thoughts

Okay so first and foremost, this book is amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. All of Me is book 1 in the Wild Thoughts Baecation series by Honesty Price. The main characters are fully fleshed out, nuanced and complex. Begonia, GoGo, Ivy Jefferson is the creator of a revolutionary dating app Any Time, Any Bae and Gregory Hill is a fitness trainer, business man and philanthropist. Ivy has many layers to her and many names to go with them. Greg’s honesty policy is the best and brought out the best in Ivy. From the first interaction between Ivy and Greg you knew they would be something special, they naturally vibed, their chemistry was flawless. After their first fight whew chile, the heat 🔥 🔥 Greg and Ivy bring the heat, the passion, the jokes and the understanding! The epilogue is everything. Please check this out! Can’t wait to read book 2 by M.T. Dixon.

4.5 - I didn't like All of Me... I LOVED IT! This was my first time reading something by author Honesty Price, but it won't be my last.

Begonia. Ivy. Gogo... homegirl was working all of those facets of her whole being. And I got her not knowing which one she 'really' was, because she was indeed all of them, and that was ok.

Greg stepped in and stepped up with all of his radical honesty and radical transparency scaring the hell outta poor Ivy, but together they were magical and everything that they needed to be to each other.

This was a funny, intimate, hawwwwttt read! If you haven't read this, catch up... cause I need someone to laugh with! I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series and more by this author.

My only ding is the editing. That's the only reason why I didn't give it five stars. There were several instances of misused pronouns, missing words, and missing punctuation that caused me to have to reread sections, but it didn't take away from the storyline.

Moving on to book 2 and hoping the momentum with this series continues.

You did your THIIIZZZNIIIYYEEEEEE with this lil baby here !

I LOVED IVY's Split personality having self! LOL
I hated when she had to be Begonia ugh it was like she was a grown 7 year-old who had NO say so in what happened in her life.
When she was Ivy she was cautious, but a lil more open.
BUT BAYBEEEEEEE when she was GOGO that lil thang came ALIVE!
I UBER LOVED Greg though because he forced her to be Ivy/GoGo all the time.
He pushed her to speak her truth and stop living in her head.
He showed her what she needed and deserved.
He was so honest and REAL!
I loved them together!

Dear Honesty Price,

Please take all my presale money from here on out!! Thank you in advance!

No, but seriously... this book was amusing, brilliant, and captivating.

Amusing because Greg raised the bar with his one-liners and comeback game. He was funny as hell, and Ivy was a worthy ally. When they were together and throwing jabs back and forth, I was always secretly pumping one up over the other, because believe or not, I was invested in who won the battle!

Brilliant. Ummmmm, an educated black woman creating a dating app for us and solving a need in the process!! Need I say more? You gotta read it to fully appreciate the value of AnyTime, AnyBae! Plus Greg was a bonafide, proud member of the IDGAF club, and I appreciated that about him.

Captivating. Greg. Ivy. Hawaii. Video chats. Poles. Oh my. This book grabbed me from the very first line and did not let go. This was one of those stories where I didn't pay attention to how much I read or how much was remaining, I was just engrossed in the words and storyline. One thing that truly sucked me in was the seriousness and dedication set aside to how family pressure and expectations can change a person. This wasn't glossed over and it shouldn't have been.

Great start; I'll definitely be hanging around for the rest of the series. M.T. Dixon is up next.

Mannnn all of Ivy’s personalities was stressing me out at first. Lol I could not keep up and couldn’t understand how the hell she could! Her parents seemed so impossible and overall just judgmental. It’s funny that things didn’t change for her until she finally stood up for herself and remained true to herself. I absolutely loved her and Gregory together, they seemed to bring out the best in each other. Finding out the truth behind Ivy and Quentin’s relationship was definitely a plot twist I didn’t see coming!

Ivy, Gogo, Begonia, Oh my! Girl. You wrote your butt off! Greg is hilarious and I love his honesty. It truly forced Ivy out of her shell. Ivy was so fun once she became Gogo and let loose. Her family on the other hand minus her sister, a hot bougie mess! This was so much fun to read and I’m glad I got to do this series with you! It definitely challenged us to no other. Oh and them sex scenes ma’am! Whewwwww!

This was my first book my Honesty Price and I swear it will NOT be my last. I laughed and fell in love with Ivy and Greg!!! They meet through a dating app and started liking each other by just talking. That dont happen much anymore. When they finally met the sparks really flew and the love grew. Greg held Ivy accountable for being honest of her feelings and showed her that when she did, she would feel better for it!!! Honesty you did your thing and I cant wait to read more from you!!!!

This is my first novel by Honesty Price but it won’t be my last! I love everything about Greg and Ivy’s relationship. He was freedom in human form for her. It was more than accepting all of her, he allowed her to be set free from all the different roles and personas she took on to satisfy others. I can’t wait to read the next book.

I loved these two

This was an amazing book. IV was hilarious and juggling her 3 personas was awesome to see. Thoroughly enjoyed the conversations between the two lovers before they met it was amazing and reminiscent of my teenage years sitting on the phone until falling asleep together with your current boo. Give this book a try the author did her thing.

Ivy x Greg

I really thought I was going to dislike Greg & love Ivy & ironically it was the other way around. Ivy took a min to grow on me. From her three personalities & her BS situationship with QK, I was quickly over her. She was deff giving fake vibes at first. But when she dived into each of her names as well as the reason behind, my heart broke. & That made me open up to her a little bit more. But it also made me fall in love with Ahlecia because she was a rider for her friend. But Ivy was a boss ass babe & deserved someone on her level who gave her room to be herself & grow. Instead she got stuck with a judgemental ass family & betrothed trash. I enjoyed Greg honesty. Especially as someone who is like Ivy in real life where the vulnerability scares me more than anything. Greg said what was on his mind & didn't give an effyouceekay about how anyyyyyy body felt. I found it funny how he put up such a fight with his sis about getting on the app, but was sweating Ivy when she cancelled 😂 his honesty was beyond refreshing & I also loved his attitude. When Ivy tried to push him away, he let her know he wasn't going anywhere & had no qualms about being himself around her bougie ass family. The ending was unexpected for me, but was so damn good 😍🥰

I have read many books by Honesty Price & am too happy to have fallen in love with this one.

Another great read!

HP delivered another great read with relatable characters - while I definitely enjoyed the journey, my primary critique would be that it felt a little lopsided - Greg’s one “flaw” was his honesty - so it seemed like Ivy was the only one who had ish to deal with so she could embrace this relationship. But everyone has their ish and it’s not a competition and they don’t have to be equal. So I would’ve loved to have seen more of Greg’s imperfections on display. I also thought the QK situation could’ve been a little clearer - it didn’t seem to make sense that she was so intimidated about going public with the break-up because their families when he was publicly showing his entire ass. That was a miss for me when Ivy finally came clean, her anxiety seemed strange considering both of their prim and proper families. I thought there was blackmail involved as the rationale behind her sticking with it and the actual reason felt super weak in light of his behavior. The way her mother was acting about the relatives serving po’ boys at the rehearsal dinner, ain’t no way in hell she would’ve abided a SIL that was on video getting a lap dance from a dancer and/or having paternity scares.

Ivy & Greg

Ok, so the first couple chapters were confusing as heck. There was so much going on. Oh Ivy. I'm not sure if I liked her. She's all about women empowerment with her BB Con, but she doesn't practice what she preaches. She was the biggest people pleaser and it almost cost her something that was very important to her. Her family was awful, manipulative and toxic. Didn't like them at all. Then there's Greg. He was so pleasant and very likeable. His personality was perfect for Ivy. He's not going to hold his tongue for you. If he's thinking it, he'll say it. I don't know about the other readers, but I didn't think the characters has any chemistry. Physical and sexual attraction? Yes! They had plenty sexual attraction, but I think that's where it ended. Altogether, I didn't hate this book. One thing that was frustrating was the punctuation errors. Periods and comas were being placed in the middle of random sentences. I had to re-read the sentence multiple times to make sure I wasn't missing something. This was my first full length by this author. I'll definitely read her work again.

Good read

It took me a minute to get the Ivy/Gogo/Begonia thing, and once I did,I wanted to shake all three of them. Girl, if you don’t get your mind right and get your parents off your back! How are you preaching and profiting off of being a bad b*tch and not practicing it? And the whole Quintin thing was just...no. I didn’t understand the parents connection until he popped back up and it was still...no.

I liked the premise of the story and the major characters, but something was a little off for me. This is a new author for me, with a different style and it typically takes me at least two books for things to click, so I’ll definitely be checking Honesty Price out again.

This book

I read this book in a short amount of time because it was soooooo good.

I'll start off by saying Honesty Price doesn't miss. This book fits into that. I'll try not to put any spoilers. The metamorphosis of Ivy from the beginning towards the very end is just amazing. The character development is amazing.

I think most people can identify with the family aspect of Ivy's metamorphosis and seeing her find herself. It took Greg telling her about herself to realise that something needed to change in her life. Black love always wins

When you are at a cross road and you don't know who you are (ivy, begonia, Gogo), in walks a man that want the best for you, to be the best version of who you want to be with while being honest with you and showing you how to communicate( Greg) even though you may not want to deal with it. They both had passion and fun with each other and it was great to read. The side characters Ivys best friend and Ivys sister, along with Greg's sister and brother-in law were great, they love them both and knew when to step in.
Let's just say, when a man loses control and has a hard time speaking(chef's kiss)

I honestly loved this story

I can not say in clear terms how much I loved this story. Gregory was a hoot and a hooller. He was a down to earth man thrust into a relationship with a socialite who didn't want to be like her family. Ivy's wild child side was unacceptable to her parents. The need for a plus one for her sister's wedding brought Ivy the joys of meeting Gregory. A fabulous story with lots of fun moments...

Greg !’

I loved this story so much. We all need a Greg in our lives who love and like us enough to hold us accountable for creating boundaries and being our best selves! Ivy had everything from the outside but not being able to be her authentic self. Greg was able to see Ivy and force her to show others her true self! Such a beautiful story of love, acceptance and forgiving yourself.

Salty and Sweet

I enjoyed much of this story. Loved Greg but Ivy worked my nerves occasionally lol. I loved certain aspects of her though, especially that she would light 1 up, if yk what I mean;) she was super cool when she wasn't conforming. My first read by this author but it won't be the last.

Greg had me with his honesty!

Honesty Price did an amazing job with Greg and Ivy’s story. I fell in love with Greg’s honesty and calling folks on the carpet. His love for Ivy was protective and comforting. Every woman needs a man protect her body, mind and encourage her spirit.

Amazing!!

My heart poured out for Ivy, that facade she was putting on was stressful as hell. Gregory is my hero, I love a man who is honest and blunt from the get go. Tell me the truth and let me figure my ish out on my own...I loved Ivy and Greg together HR was everything she didn't know she needed. I definitely can't wait for more and wants next from this series

i am in love

Ivy Jefferson just wants to be herself, whoever that is. Gregory Hill wants to be with Ivy Jefferson.

This was my first run with Honesty Price, and I can honestly say that I absolutely loved it. It was the right kind of set up and complications, and Greg was the best kind of guy.

If you like good sex and great relationships, this is a book for you.

Wow. I really enjoyed this book. Greg and Ivy's romance started out real sweet. Greg allowed her to be herself not who her parents and the public felt she should be. I'm glad she finally stood up for herself. I am looking forward to reading the next books I this series.

😍Beautiful

I love Greg and his honesty! Ivy had no idea what she was getting into but once he started talking😁 he had her. Quintin is a little boy compared to Greg. Ahlecia was my favorite character because she is absolutely the best friend a girl could ask for.

Truth shall set you free

I enjoyed this story. Greg was the realist I loved his personality. I hated that Ivy was forced to be someone she wasn't. Greg forced her to make a choice and she did. QK was a jerk.

Definitely recommend!

I gave this book 5 stars because it was bomb af! I loved how Greg was honest to a fault and that proved to be all Ivy needed to get herself together. Not that there was anything wrong, but she definitely wasn’t living and moving based on her own needs.

All of It!

Yessss for the intense read about the demand for brutal honesty versus the constant people pleasing and denying one’s self the ability to live freely. I loved that Greg was no nonsense and never wavered even though it made things complicated with Ivy.

Loved it

It's amazing how much women code switch for the various scenes of our life. Sometimes we need someone to hold up the mirror so that we can check ourselves and be who we are suppose to be. I loved this book and everything about Greg and Begonia/Ivy/GoGo.
