Backyard Visions: The Ruby-throated Hummingbird is primarily a compilation of our photographs of one of the world's smallest and most beautiful birds. In the first three sections of the book, we use those photographs to illustrate some of the characteristics of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds as well to illustrate a brief discussion of their life history. In the fourth section, we provide a discussion of the care and feeding of hummingbirds and how to attract them to your backyard. The final section is devoted to a discussion of the techniques that we have found useful in creating the photographs contained in this book.
