What amounts to sex scenes between 12 year olds is not ok. Plotholes about, lots of handwaving, and dodgy pacing. Language use is pretty excellent, though.
If you're not comfortable with sexual activities by 2 individuals who are the same age but both underage, don't read this. Honestly if you're able to ignore their ages it's not a bad read. It is really really long and it feels it, which usually isn't a bad thing for me, I'm all for the longer the better, but this felt long. Decent read though, but not one I would return to
Very well written romance/drama with a background canon rehash. My only issue with this is the lack of simple side plots getting resolved. There is way too much focus on things like the will they won’t they (fix their friendship) between Ron and Harry even when the answer is increasingly obvious. On the other hand minor issues like why his informed friends left him in the dark about his culture and family history gets brought up occasionally but never confronted. These annoying loose threads the author keeps using to string us along is... well very annoying. Otherwise, the story is grammatically correct with consistent characterization and is a somewhat intriguing concept. Definitely one of the much higher quality fanfics.
Incomplete Ch 63?
Second Read-through Review:
I misremembered the general style of this fanfic. I sort of expected things to go more along the lines of the AU story When Harry Knocked Up Pansy. Obviously the author had his own plan and made this much more realistic and human.
Everything I said in my previous review summarizes this fanfic in its entirety. It was much less entertaining to reread this, but I knew I wouldn't remember enough (for this an every other book I get partway through) to pick this back up from where I left off. I'm very relieved to have finally finished this.
