Elizabeth Lara trades in her workaholic life for a cottage in Ireland . . . and Irishman, Connor Bannon, in this enticing romance trilogy involving a well-kept secret, a box of letters, and an epic love story.
Elizabeth Lara built a perfect life as San Francisco’s top divorce attorney, but when she loses her great-aunt Mags, the woman who raised her, she boards a plane and leaves it all behind.
The Irish shores welcome her as she learns a shocking truth, kept secret for thirty-five years. Devastated and now alone in the world, Beth tries to find peace in a beautiful cottage by Lough Rhiannon, but peace isn’t what fate had in mind. Almost as soon as she arrives, Beth’s solitary retreat into the magic wilds of Ireland is interrupted by Connor Bannon. A man with light brown hair, ice blue eyes and a secret of his own.
With the help of Mags’ letters, the colorful townspeople of Dingle, and Connor, Elizabeth might just find a way back to the girl she lost long ago and become the woman she always wanted to be.

Juliet Gauvin writes feel-good Irish romantic trilogies full of life-changing journeys and epic love.
Juliet is originally from California. She is a true, hopeless, all-in romantic. Her first kiss was with a Frenchman in Paris, her first love was an Eagle Scout, her first crash and burn was with someone from Harvard (Jules studied history at Yale—she should have known better). When she isn't writing she can be found photographing landscapes, binge watching entire series on Netflix, or dancing the international cha cha.
She lives for the real magic in the world—it exists—in the form of an ancient building, a kind smile from a stranger, the inexplicable experiences that come from being in love, an erotic encounter with a gorgeous international stranger…
The Irish Cottage was inspired by Jules’ love for all things Irish. A love sparked in her teens by Riverdance; fanned into a flame when she befriended a group of Irish kids in France; and blazed into a wildfire by a visit to the Emerald Isle.
Earlier this year, an AncestryDNA test confirmed what Jules has suspected for a while: she’s a third Irish (one of her grandparents continues to be unknown but as luck would have it, the test divined that he must have been an Irish-Swede).
A charming and dramatic addition to the series. The best so far. As usual, the sense of setting, the beauty and grandeur of Paris, is a delight, as is the bond between Elizsbeth and Connor.
I loved the first book. It was free from kindle books so I bought the trilogy. The second book was good and by the time I finished the third book I was ready to quit reading the series. This series is NOT realistic. Everyone was either millionaires, famous or had huge inheritance. The main lady, Beth, knew everything from successful attorney, self defense, kind throwing, wine connoisseur, photography, music, knowing what to do if drugged, and the list goes on. She ALWAYS comes out on top. I love to read, but I like books that could actually happen. That are for the average person. Even fairy tales stories start with an average person. There is no way these high society group of people mingled with common folks!
I had found the first book of this series free on Amazon months ago but never read it. Other reviews recommended not starting at night since they had a hard time putting it down. Boy, were they correct! I started and finished all three books in one day. Why? 1. I love most books set in Ireland or about the Irish people 2. I had to read all three to find out what happens (spoiler, it's a happily ever after) 3. The characters are well developed and relatable to just about anyone 4. The stories had all the feels... death, disillusionment, discovery, family, friendship and ultimately love.
These are very well written and will grab you by the heart. Thank you for writing such an amazing series. Now, I really want to go to Ireland (and England and France too)! 💚
One of the cheesiest stories I've ever trudged my way through. Gorgeous. Ice blue eyes. A single tear. Reem Acra. That about sums up the author's vocabulary. Combine that with main characters who are obscenely rich, physically flawless, and a heroine who is a top-rated attorney turned award-winning photographer with a dance/martial arts/knife throwing background ... the entire saga was absurd.
Wonderful, complex, engaging, delightful and thrilling.
I loved the length of the story and the colorful nature of the characters, the truthful and fanciful nature of each person who added depth and breadth to the continuing narrative. Great for quick reading, or easy to get absorbed into fully and read for hours on end. Great descriptions bring you to each place the characters visit.
I read a review recently that this series isn’t realistic. Perhaps most of us do not inherit grand sums of money or chateau’s. However! What absolute fun to read about a character that does not have to pinch pennies ! Such grand adventures await when you have the cash to explore without worry ! Throughly enjoyed this series !
I first bought the cottage and fell in love, then bought the set! I just bought the next one and preordered the next. I love the characters and would love to read books about them. I would love to read about Mags and her early years. I'm also ready to book a trip to Ireland. I definitely recommend these!!!
I gave the series 2 stars, the first book 5. Skipped all the sex scenes, not my thing. Writing excellent, storyline inventive, buy over all three books, repetitive . The great evil was overly predictable and conveniently disposed of. First book a good read, last 2 a rehash of the first, thankfully with less alcohol and swearing.
I loved the first book so much, but what followed was not nearly as good. The handy, perfect old friend/love interest, how easily Liz, Lizzy, Elizabeth or Beth (pick a name please) can get angry at Connor and write him off then reunite and everyone is ok? The filthy rich relatives, famous father et al is all tooooo much! She can dance away like a seasoned ballerina from danger - oh my. I only finished because I purchased all the books. If you want a frivolous and fanciful read-this is for you.

I have really enjoyed these books. I concur with other readers about the detailed sex scenes though. Unnecessary and once you have read one you really can skip the others. They add nothing to the story. I have fallen in love with the characters and hope to see more of their lives unfold as you continue writing.
I didn't remember reading this a long time ano. And I read it under the n***** App instead of prthen. I liked it so well on the first volume that I needed to buy second and third without realizing that I had already read them before and they were just as good. The second time around you will love it.
I enjoyed reading these novels , the storyline flowed very well ,I could not put it down. The descriptions of the Irish country side makes me want to go for another visit. I will pick up the next novel and hope it is as good.
Good read. Easy to fall into . Some unexpected turns on the series. A mix of love story, mild adventure and a pinch of intrigue. Awaiting the 4th book to see where this tale goes. Recommend for those who appreciate love, strong women, adult relationships.
Enjoyed these books, read all in a couple of days. Having been to Ireland, it was fun to recognize location references. The only thing that bugged me was Conner calling Elizabeth by her last name, no one would ever do that
Totally captured my interest from the very beginning. Excellent story with wonderful romance and characters! Couldn't put it down! Can't wait to read the other books!
WOW OMG , I just don't have the Best Words to explain why this series is a must read. Takes on a journey through ups and downs and so many emotions. In the end you just take a deep breath and WOW OMG.
The characters were spot on again and the story line full of great stuff. Alas again (at least for me the sex was to explicit again, I am not a prude but prefer less.) Other than that Excellent read. On to the next book!
This collection kept my interest all the way to the very end. The description of each character made me feel as if I was friends with each and everyone! Can't wait to read the Irish Castle!
I was torn between "can't put it down" and " go slow and savor". Off to download the extra scene and find the Irish Castle to buy. Fantastic read! Loved the settings and descriptions of Europe as much as the characters! Thank you for the journey!!!
I loved the series. It's everything you need in a story. Love, friendship, romance, intrigue. I laughed, I cried (lots of tears) and wished I were in those beautiful cities. Now, I have to get the next 2 books, to see what's in store for Elizabeth and Connor.
These were three seamlessly entwined stories. I bought it on a Sunday afternoon and finished early Tuesday morning! I laughed, cried, and rolicked with Connor, Liz, and the entire ensemble!
I very much enjoyed this series and intend to next read the next steps in the lives of the characters. I loved the characters and the way the different locations were presented and made me want to visit those countries and locations.
The story was touching, irritating and inspire all at the same time. I wanted to yell that the man loves you, be grateful. It turned out great in the end. Family is everything.
I think this the best that I have ever read.. Beautifully written, It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but most if all it will make you Happy. Thank you Juliet Gauvin for such a awesome story.
What a beautiful story full of love, adventure, courage and discovery. I am sad for it to end. I will miss the great characters who have become like friends.
I loved the alive characters! There was just enough mystery to make the story impossible to put down and enough fantasy to escape some of todays harsh realities. I’ll be looking for more of these books.
Each book of this series is well-written but they are, essentially, one long story divided into books based upon location. I've never been a fan of books that don't have a true ending, so I rated these as a 4 instead of a 5 because of it. Otherwise, a wonderful romance.
The characters were well developed. While Conner was almost to perfect, Gauvin gave him a touch of anger and abandonment issues. I loved how colorful mags was. This series was very fun to read. I too love the Irish. I would do the next one in Italy.
The series is full of romance and mystery. It's beautifully written and moves along at a nice pace. I never lost interest and looked forward to each new chapter.
I plan on reading this series again! Loved the scenery, characters and countries. Pure enjoyment for people wanting to get away with a good love story abroad with unexpected twists and turns.
