The wise author Lillian E. Forman wrote the marvelous biography of Albert Einstein. First, this incredible biography mainly focuses on how Albert Einstein’s ideas had an impact on the world. To begin with, Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. With the childhood of a genius, Einstein was successfully proving himself strong in mathematics and science. For instance, in Einstein’s religious school for the Jews, Einstein would probably do science in his own way. Einstein’s ways of doing science were so perfect that his professors would appreciate it. Next, this biography transitions to the years that Einstein changed the world on the different ways of using physics. In addition, Einstein had always been traveling through Europe discovering new cultures. But in 1903, Einstein marries Mileva Marić and becomes a Swiss citizen. From that time on, Einstein starts working on the theory of relativity. This theory used the principle of people on a moving system. But, during 1916, Einstein finishes the theory of relativity and publishes it in the Annalen der Physik. When it was published, all the people in Europe were amazed by how Einstein expresses his use of physics. However, in 1919, Einstein divorces with Mileva because of the atrocious communication between the two of them. But later in 1919, Einstein marries Elsa Einstein. It was a sad moment for Einstein, losing his sons, Hans and Eduard, but he had to face the love with Elsa. Lastly, as Einstein reached his old years, he starts to have trouble with foreign countries. For example, in 1952, Einstein was offered to become the President of Israel, but unfortunately, he declines the offer. Hence, this showed how famous Einstein was during his life. In conclusion, Einstein was desperate on how the universe works. Sadly, Einstein dies on April 18, 1955 in Princeton, when he was nearly done with his unified field theory. As one can see, this incredible biography was well developed, providing the reader with an important lesson, five important facts, and a description of the topic.

This marvelous biography of Albert Einstein granted the readers with an important lesson, five important facts, and a description of the topic. First, this biography provided a lesson to the reader about the importance of Einstein’s ideas. The reader has learnt that all these theories and ideas changed how people do things in life. ‘‘It is important to foster the individual, for only the individual can produce the new ideas.’’ (Forman, 101). Thus, these ideas have really changed how we solve problems. Next, there are five facts that all of you should know. To begin with, the first fact that you all should know is that Einstein was a physicist who developed the theory of relativity. Then, the second fact is that Einstein had always been traveling through Europe, creating his magnificent theories. For all his hard work, the third fact is the Nobel Prize for physics that was awarded to Einstein in 1921. The fourth fact is the reason for Einstein being regarded as the father of physics. At last, Einstein had two wives, Elsa and Mileva, (divorced with Mileva). Finally, this biography allowed everyone to be able to describe this topic. In my perspective, if I could describe this topic to a friend, I would say that Albert Einstein was a famous physicist who works out advanced math and science in his ways. People could also mention that his ways proved to be more than explanatory. As one can see, this marvelous biography of Albert Einstein gave the reader an important lesson, five important facts, and a description of the topic.

This incredible biography would be recommended to any person who would like to get to know more about Albert Einstein. First, this biography might be for people who adore non-fiction books. This biography clearly shows the difficulties that Einstein had to face to become a hero. Next, this non-fiction book would also be recommended to people who have had a similar childhood that Einstein has had. As a result, every person in middle school would understand the life that Einstein has lived to become a famous person. Lastly, this biography was interesting considering it is non-fiction. I would highly recommend this biography to people who like Einstein and are inspired to become like him. As one can see, this incredible biography would be recommended to any person who would admire the reason to get to know more about Albert Einstein.

A nice, concise biography of the man and his accomplishments. In spite of this being a juvenile biography of Einstein I still had trouble understanding several of his physics theories. But I DID learn things about Einstein, the man.

The childhood/education always reflects the personality of a person. Einstein was jew, living in Germany was difficult because of the discrimination but the jewish did not have to be peddlers and tradesmen,
as their ancestors had, they were mostly owning their business and enter professions. "Hermann Einstein (Albert's father) and his brother Jakob owned gas and electrical supply company" (Forman 17). Albert's parents expect albert's to advance more further that they did. " Feeling that Jewish people were becoming well integrated into Germany society, Hermann and Pauline Einstein expected their children to advance even further."(Forman 18). Because of all the steps that Albert encountered throughout his life he became the man that he was.

Among all of Einstein's discoveries , one of his most important was proving the existence of atoms.During the 1900s, no microscopes were able to observe molecular level, so only the most advanced scientists, such as Max Planck and Niels Bohr, believed in the existence of atoms. However, "26-year-old Einstein wrote a paper that settled all scientific doubts about wether molecules and atoms exist. Einstein's paper dealt with Brownian motion.". (Forman 10). The movement of molecules is caused when the heat of the water increases the activity of the atoms. "Einstein concluded that the particles moves as they do because water molecules bump into them." (Forman 12). This discovery was one of the most important one that Einstein proved.

The five papers that Einstein wrote. Einstein wrote five papers about light, molecules, and the concept of relativity that made him one of most known scientist of his day.In 1905, "Einstein wrote five very known papers on the course of four months. his topic included light, molecules, and the concept of relativity."(Forman 48). One of the most interesting paper of Albert's five papers was the Light speed, in this paper Albert demonstrated that the light travels at 186, 000 per second. "The speed of light is a particularity of light , However almost kept Einstein from completing his theory. Light always travels at 186, 000 miles per second (299, 339 ams)." (Forman 53). The five papers that albert wrote were very useful for other scientist because these are basics of science.

The fifth paper that Einstein wrote. Einstein wrote his fifth paper in 1905."Does the inertia of a body depend on its Energy content?".(Forman 56). He despite the evidence that mass and energy are equivalent."E = mc2. This states that energy and mass are different aspects of the same thing."(Forman57). To conclude Einstein's fifth paper was one of the most known and true.

Among all papers that scientist did the most knowns were Einstein papers. In 1905 Einstein wrote five papers that made him one of the best scientist of his day. « In 1905, Einstein wrote five papers that established him as one of the leading scientist of his day. »  (Forman 48). He did a lot of topics that inspired most of the scientist and help people to understand life. For example the nature of light that demonstrated the speed of light. Einstein was the one of the best scientist of all times.

Einstein and the theory of light. Einstein wrote many famous paper about light. For example the « Speed of light » and the « Nature of light ». At Einstein time there were many theories for the nature of light but Einstein demonstrated that everyone was wrong and he found the solution. « Unlike other scientist of his time, Einstein took Plank’s experiment seriously. He wrote a paper concluding that light consisted of particles. These particles later became known photons. Despite this new view of light’s structure, Einstein did not dismiss the experiments that showed light to be wavelike. » (Forman 49). Einstein wrote papers about light that showed scientist that they were wrong.

The two papers that dealt with molecules. One of the paper explained a theory of an other scientist that said that particules such as dust or pollen were always in motion when they are in water. « Particules, such as dust or pollen, in water are always in motion. This movement had long puzzled many scientist » (Forman 50). The second paper talked about the reality of molecules. « The April paper gave evidence of the reality of molecules by showing that their dimension can be measured. » (Forman 50). These are the two papers about molecules that Einstein wrote« April » and « May ».

The last paper of Einstein’s five papers was the relativity. In this paper Einstein reveled the theory that the electrodynamics of moving bodies. « Einstein’s paper published in 1905 presented even more starling revelations. In « On the Electrodynamics of moving bodies. ». » (Forman 50). He developed this theory from the principle that everyone in a steadily moving system, such as a smoothly moving train, experiences the laws of physics in the same way. for example, imagine a bus traveling very fast on a highway. If all people on the bus measured the distance from the front of the bus to the back, they would agree on the distance.

Albert Einstein Physicist And Genius
By: Lillian E. Forman

Albert Einstein Physicist And Genius is an exciting biography written by Lillian E. Forman. During his early years, the main character, Albert Einstein lived in Germany. The biography begins on March, 14 1951 with Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out at a crowd of photographers. This led him to having a reputation of being a “mischievous celebrity” (Pg.6) instead of a dignitary. The biography continues to tell about his childhood. Today, we think of Einstein as the smartest person in the world, but in his younger years teachers gave him bad grades and were always be angered by his sarcasm. When Einstein was twenty six, he made an important discovery, proving the existence of atoms. In 1900’s nineteen hundreds people didn’t have microscopes. This means that people weren’t able to see at molecular levels. Only a few scientist believed in the molecular level. These included Max Planck and Niels Bohr. Einstein wrote a paper that settled all scientific doubts about molecules and atoms existence.

Albert Einstein was considered a nice person who treated people with respect and fairness. Although his childhood was hard because of reasons like discrimination against Jews, being a bad student, and difficulties speaking. Although Einstein became famous, he still acted like a normal person and didn’t feel that he was better than any other human being. Today, his equation E = mc2, that he came up with in his fifth paper written in 1905, is widely used. The equation is the answer of this question ‘‘Does the Inertia of a Body Depend on Its Energy content?’’ (Forman Pg.56). He answered this question by stating that energy and mass are different aspects of the same thing. From the actions of Albert Einstein people can see that he was a simple man who was satisfied with life.

The most exciting chapter in the biography is Chapter two, where the author writes about Albert Einstein’s childhood. I liked this chapter because unlike what you find on the internet that includes fake facts about his childhood, the book gives the reader a close look in his true childhood. Happily, in this biography I didn’t find any disappointing information or moments. I would recommend this biography student from sixth grade all the way to twelfth grader because it’s really interesting to read and important to know. I think that these students would like reading about the smartest person in the world Albert Einstein.

Part of the “Essential Lives” series, this book is a very good overview of the life of one of the important figures of the twentieth century. Born in Ulm, Germany to middle class Jewish parents, Albert quickly showed his problem solving abilities. His tendency to question or correct his instructors made his academic and personal lives difficult. That same tendency helped further his theories, though. Sometimes a victim of the times in which he lived, he moved around Europe several times before moving to the United States to avoid the Nazis. He did the majority of his published work earlier in life and worked the rest of his life on trying to find the connection of all basic physical forces. The author slightly and unnecessarily oversimplifies the unified field theory, but she does a good job of explaining most of Einstein’s ideas in child-friendly terms. The book includes many resources, including footnotes, bibliography, glossary, and index.

It was a good biography but not a detailed one. A lot of focus was on his research and not enough on the personal life of Einstein.
