Learned a lot about the Congdon Family, since I live I. The area it was fun to read about the glensheen mansion

I learned so much about this family and the era they lived in. I am grateful so much was documented. It can be a little slow moving with so many details given about some aspects of business and the steel industry of which I know little, but that is not the fault of the author. If you were looking for more background and personal information about the Congdon family of Duluth, Minnesota, or if you are looking for information of how fast the world was moving at the turn of the century, than this book will carry you into that time.
