I've always had a crazy imagination and I loved writing. So, I started writing Forever Careless to see if I had it in me.

It was too much fluff for me, however my friends loved it. So, I wrote another, this time I pushed to boundaries.

One day, while very pissed off with everything around me, I thought of a story without a happy ending. One with real problems and real people. A story that was very close to my heart. The story nagged me constantly. Months later, I sat down and started Hazed.

Only weeks later, Hazed was finished. I was obsessed with it. It took me over a year to finish my first novel and weeks to finish this one.

I knew what that meant. I liked to write about bad people who do bad things. I like to get inside their minds and feel their crazy.

So, if you're looking for hearts and flowers, you won't find them here. My stories are real and they aren't pretty.

Currently available: Hazed, Unfazed, and Ruined.
Currently working on: Because of You, Grove, Damaged.

This is the first book I have read by this author. It definitely drives in to the world of an addict. The cover up, the avoidance , the lies, the promises to quit but can’t.
I felt sorry for Hayze, I think his guilt is why he’s the way he is. He hasn’t dealt with his issues. I don’t know but it seemed like Taylor was as addicted to arguing with him as he was to everything else. She sort of got in my nerves, she picks fights with him in public and I feel like she has a lot of growing up to do.
I guess I need to read more of this series to find out exactly so why she’s the way she is.. something is not right with her,.. she plays the good girl, innocent preachers daughter but she didn’t act that way most of the time.. I am not sure why I just felt like everything he tried to do for her she acted like a selfish kid and didn’t appreciate anything . She knew what she was doing going out with that other guy and then lying to him like that .. I just don’t think she’s the sweet girl that the author tried portraying her as.
Maybe it’s just me but nagging someone isn’t going to help them open up to you especially if they’re afraid you will leave .. anyways I think the book has a good story line . I think the author did well in showing the secretive side of the addict.. I just didn’t care for Taylor. I mean it if was me I wouldn’t stick around to keep getting evasive answers.
Hopefully book two will have more of his POV and she will redeem herself.

The author was absolutely right what she said this story doesn’t have hearts and flowers. It was raw and real and a little intimidating. It has romance but hurtful romance. I was a little worried about how wishy washy Taylor was with Hayze then seeing everything Hayze was going through definitely kept Taylor on her toes.

Addiction, angst and all the emotions rolled into one book. This crazy wild ride between Taylor and Hayze pulled on my heart strings. She was never fully trusting and he was never fully honest but their love still found a way to burrow deep. I’m anxious to find out how the next book unfolds.

Taylor goes away to College and gets a job at the bar and is instantly attracted to the bartender Hayze. However, Hayze has a lot of secrets that he is keeping from her. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot and they can't keep away from each other. This is only book one so I can't wait to see what happens next.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
