In the skies of Spiria, only those who Dance on the Clouds can rule the land.

Cast adrift at the mercy of the skies as a baby, cursed with deadly secrets, and thrust into the heights of power, Delphi just wants to be free to sail the infinite skies. But when you are a national asset, Freedom comes at a high price.

Is the price of freedom worth it?

Labeled as a rule-breaker, trouble maker extraordinaire, cursed freak, and surrounded by a backbiting bureaucracy worse than a pack of Worlpertinger, Delphi has her hands full if she wants to reach the top and seize her freedom.

There is a new wind brewing, and it just might be a tempest.

Welcome, and thanks for taking a look. I'm a bit of a scattershot. Currently, I live in Japan with my family; my wife, who is a violinist and my rambunctious son, who would even give a Tanuki a run for its money. I've been around and done a few things in my thirty-ish years on this planet, not that I have been on any others. Probably.

I did a stint in the army, but I was medically discharged most of the way through basic due to health problems. I learned a lot through it, and it changed a lot of my life as the plans that I had were drastically changed. It led me to work on my writing and here to Japan.

I am currently working on my Account of the Change series, but I'm taking a short break from it to work on a Lit-RPG fantasy that I have been tinkering with for a while now. But don't worry. I'll get back to my other series and plan to have at least one book for each out this year.

Whether you have read several of my books or are just looking to start on, I hope that you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Spiria is a land of possibilities. When I wrote this book, it was a significant step away from my previous writing style and type of story. Where my other books, the Account of the Change series, were mainly dialogue-driven, this story demanded more explanation into the world and the characters' actions. They still do a lot of talking, but there is more going on within the chapters and characters' lives. I also needed more detail and time within the story for building a whole new world from scratch. So, if you are expecting something along the lines of my previous work, you'll still get a similar feel, but this novel is unique. It is also far more polished than my previous works.

As for the characters themselves, they are each unique and have their own goals and histories unfolding throughout the novel. As this is a series starter, don't expect for everything to get settled by the end. There is more to come. But if you are looking for a fresh, original, and action-packed fantasy novel with a touch of Steam and like a strong female lead who isn’t afraid to stand up for what is right, then this is the book for you.

Enjoy and I hope that you can get lost in this world of endless skies and possibilities.
