No time like the present to figure out one's future. That's a nice platitude, but what if you are a demon? And the former Queen of Hell? Pandora saved an angel, Katie, when she could have stayed in hell and all but assured Earth would fall to Moloch. But now she has a conundrum. Further complicating things, Katie is acting very out of character, and Pandora needs to help her friend find her bearings once more.
First i have too say how wonderful it outs that the next book in a series is already published for me. I got behind last year after surgery, and i don't think I'll ever get caught up! But i ask listening to the audio versions too which just adds a bonus type the books! I always hear something I must off missed when reason! I don't know how Mr Anderle puts out so many books in so many series. I use to pride myself on being able to read 3-7books a week. I think hate must be writing.org than that. I think this has been many favorite but each one I read seemed Rio be the same. There's a reason these books are best sellers. Past series I've read by other authors eventually burned out, began to repeat themselves, or just burn out. I've read some sci-fi that started out with minor love interest that eventually started to be one sec scene after another. I love that I never know what's going to happen next, seconded by the unique stories line that follows no other novels I've read in the past and the humor that is natural and never seems forced. Michael "Todd" Anderle and Laura Starkey have formed an unbeatable team! A definite 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟➕ rating! Even if you have never read much sci-fi or Urban Fantasy before and want to check the genre out, you can't go wrong with anything with the Anderle name on the cover! The only thing that I would like too see or rather not like too see so much in future books are the hot dogs the demons enjoy so much. Found out uncomfortable to visualize while my own wiener dog squirms in my lap while I read as if she knows what I'm reading. Actually just kidding, kind of. Lol 😉😁 It made me think of some of the horror movies my oldest daughter always loved too watch. It never bothered her or her friends to watch bloody scenes followed by bloodier scene, with men and women were being killed. But should a dog get hurt, everyone would be horrified! Seemed some unwritten rule that the dogs couldn't be harmed! Lol. But it wasn't too bad and just proved how truly evil the demons are! Now I have too decide whether to read the next inn this series or to read the first book in Damien's series. He is one of my favs. Also have to say how much I liked that Stephanie and Korbin are back. Would like to see some of the old team involved in more action and soap watching in the future. Also what are the other mercenary groups up to. Thank you Michael and Laura for the many hours of entertainment and escape. They are great anytime but when the pain which comes with age and a formerly active life, they work much better then a pill to take the mind off the pain! I admire your talent and can't wait to get to the next book!
The last book ended with Pandora taking care of Katie and left me in awe and wonderment of what's next. This installment was a joyful read. It's good seeing Katie and Pandora continue to grow their relationship after all this time. They're not stagnant and that is very refreshing. I'm loving the new leviathan. Junnto seems to be an interesting new character and I'm thoroughly pleased that the author took the character and made him different than the previous one. If you've been reading this authors books then you know there's plenty of humor, action, blood and gore. This one doesn't disappoint. The author is consistent with his line of thinking and continues to provide you with his weird sense of humor and plenty of action to keep you going. Most definitely looking forward to the next installment!
Just read the book. It has cold and warmth, growth for a number of characters, a recognition of what friendship is or could be, an interesting storyline, and a reasonable setup for finishing the whole thing. Liked the term KatieDora, though it took me a bit to figure out. The start was a bit confusing re: Marie's behavior, but stick with it, it works out. Would like to see more of Korbin and Stephanie, but I understand the focus is on Katie, her challenges, and the need to save the world. I did like Alice and Dr. Thorough, even though they are obviously written to an expected style, ie smart and clueless scientist, thoroughly grounded female assistant, who's also smart. Like most of Anderle's works, they are a goid, entertaining, enjoyable read. So go ahead, pick it up and read it.
...is what one of the authors said and I have to agree from the reader standpoint. There was so much fun in this one! And is it just me or is it easier to read about the demons eating Chihuahuas than it is to see them eat a generic basket of puppies? I don't know. The puppies bring to mind sweet innocence and cuteness. While Chihuahuas are just yappy, ugly little dogs. And no, I don't buy into the whole "so ugly they're cute" BS--ugly is ugly. I am okay with demon eating habits on those days--I love the food puns in any case. Good book!
I love these books. Mike Ar-odd. Has accomplished something special with all his stories. I have been waiting a lifetime for books that could rival a good sitcom. I rarely watch as it is now I only watch movies during movie night....(Hold up wait a minute. You watch Football on TV{wife} Football is a game not a show. Plus it is live, not taped.{me}) thanks again can't wait till the next book.
I can’t pick the best book in the series but this one’s up there!
I love that Pandora and Katie are acting as a team now instead of just using each other’s strengths. It’s great that Korbin and Stephanie are Damned again. But I was hoping for more action with Brock and Katie and to find out what Gabriel has for Katie. Hopefully, next book! I also like the Leviathan angle. The five left should be interesting!
Hahahahah! This book! These characters!. I think it's safe to say I enjoy this series since I'm on book 6. Keep them coming you have a gift! I was not expecting that alliance but I think I'll take it as a win for team Kandora. I see Moloch and Baal in the background sounding like the A-Team rubbing hands together and saying "I love it when a plan comes together" Enters Kandora and all of her awesomeness then I hear "Nooooooooo!"
Pandora and Katie come to a new point in their relationship, and it is a beautiful thing to witness. One of the things I enjoy most about these books is that whilst there is darkness, fighting, death and pain; there is also light, love, life, and joy to counterbalance it.
A new player comes to the field, and both sides are ramping up the heat (hehehehehe - pun intended!). KatieDora is on fire and amping up the insults as well as the fighting skills.
Katie/Pandora have decided they are better together and become "sisters" in Katie's body with all of the sibling angst that goes with it. Pandora can now enter/leave at will, and does so. Book 7 better be coming out real soon.....
This was a good one. Major mayhem and serious heat. Not only does Katie and Pandora take on another Leviathan but make another recon trip to hell. Can't wait for the next one.
Michael and Laurie have done a great job again with this book. By keeping the story flowing and characters fresh, they've kept this series great. Can't wait for their next adventure.
Queston: What does Gabriel have for Katie? So much happening in this story, such excitement, adventure, and change. Now the team has a surprising new member, who would have thought it?
Nonstop action with a quick trip to hell and back! Plus a fight with a Frost Giant. The story keeps getting better with it's twists and turns. I can't wait for the next book!
