In every world there is a legend of a tower. A great building piercing the sky and touching the heavens. In some worlds that tower is broken and cast down by an act of God, never to rise to its former glory, but not all of them. A cycle has passed since the events in the Valley of Kings. Laurence has has become a hermit obsessed with the concept of reviving the dead, scorning the outside world. He is called back by an old enemy who gives him a clue to achieve his impossible task, he must find a true wishing well. Unfortunately, he is not the only one hunting for the well.
