A repeat of book 1, with the same people making the same mistakes and being inane. As for Beth.. what a moron!

I want to say that I love this series so far, but seeing as he has set the series in the area I grew up in and his facts/layout is not entirely correct has caused me some issue. I am reading along enjoying the story and then he plops in incorrect information and it doesn't sit well. I then have to stop reading and come back a day or two days later. If it weren't for these occasional inaccuracies I would enjoy the series far more. It usually takes me 1 or 2 days to read a book and this one took me 8.

Generally I tend to be kind of gentle with my reviews...and some may think that the score I gave this book COULD be considered "low". So my feelings about this are...this series is The Walking Dead-lite, in that it is basically the same general idea just set on the opposite side of the country. With "interesting" characters but characters I am not as emotionally invested in. Still not saying I dont enjoy the books...its just a slower & less engaged read. If you are interested in checking out this genre of literature...than by all means, start here before diving into the more complex and graphic stuff. So, I will go 3.25 out of 5. Not a horrible score but definitely could be better

After tearing through Book 1 in less than 24 hours, Book 2 is a little more tedious and took a little longer. There is mention of some government involvement leading to the state of havoc and destruction early in the book, I was hoping that was actually going somewhere but, alas, it didn't. Book two is pretty much the same folks running from the infected trying to avoid being killed or eaten by them. There isn't much in the way of story development here. I am hoping for it to all to come together in Book 3!

Exhausted!
I’ve read Westport and just finished Grayland. I’m not really fond of zombie stories but this series has been easily read and enjoyed because of the characters. The story is well thought out and needs a conclusion. I’m hoping that will be helped out with the next book. I’m really hoping I can locate it.

Grayland Review
This is the second book in the Grays Harbor Series. I really enjoyed the second book as much as the first one!
I recommend reading the whole series. The little girl Amanda is a real psychopath!

Still not my kind of book, but I enjoyed reading it because I'm familiar with the area. (and now, I'm attached to the characters!). Starting the third book soon.
