When a book features Hitler stood on the surface of Mars with an atomic bomb exploding behind him you would be forgiven for buying the book with trembling hands, expecting goodness knows what.

What you get is a book which features, amongst others, a Math-wizard travelling through time and giving Hitler an injection to help him get an erection. Again, hearing this whilst looking at the cover your fratic shoving to get to the front of the queue in the charity shop / carboot sale / police auction.

Yet the book fails to deliver on the promises made and these are pretty big promises.

100 out of 10 for mental ideas that shouldn't work.

2 out of 10 for making those ideas work.
