RESOLUTION BOOK ONE: America's Last Days, of The Resolution Series by D.I. TELBAT, begins this post-apocalyptic journey alongside COIL Agent Wes Trimble.
One year ago, America was ravaged by the Meridia Virus Pandemic, known as Pan-Day. Cities burned and millions died. Food is now scarce, and the country is filled with violence. But a remnant of hope remains with COIL's courageous Christians.
Alone, one-eyed Wes Trimble pedals a mountain bike up a deserted California freeway. His pregnant wife is days ahead, traveling toward the mountains with a band of refugees, but there is no guarantee Wes will ever see her again alive. Civility has been lost across the country, and it seems that Wes is the only person trying to save life instead of take it.
Set in the COIL timeline between The COIL Legacy and the Last Dawn Trilogy, join Wes in this thrilling ride, as he lends his hand to help the needy, and takes opportunities to share God's Word.
Only the steadfast in faith will survive!

I've been writing novels and short stories since I was a young teen. God has greatly impacted me, and I now desire to honor the Lord with my life and writing.
My stories can be read in several online and print publications, as well as three anthologies. My bestselling COIL Series include novels Dark Liaison, Book One; Dark Hearted, Book Two; Dark Rule, Book Three; and Dark Vessel, Book Four, and are available at most e-retailers, as are Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces novel, Sea Scribe, a Covert Christian Mission Suspense, and End Times Novel, God's Colonel. See my website for other novels and stories added often, including Dark Cover, COIL Book Five, to be out late 2014.
I offer free weekly Christian short stories, or serialized novels, my Author Reflections, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church on my Telbat's Tablet blog at http://ditelbat.com.
When I'm not writing, I'm very involved in Christian ministry. I've kept my home office in the NW U.S. where my assistant, Dee, lives and helps with my editing and writing needs.
My motto: There is no redemption without sacrifice.

I started reading the works of D. I. Telbat out of order. I began with the first book of the Last Dawn series, and I was hooked from page 1. As I read through this novel I began to realize that it was referencing characters from other series. So, I've been going back and reading through those series as well. As a Christian I enjoy reading books which are honoring to God, and Telbat's books definitely are. But more than that, his storylines are intriguing!
This was a great read, but make sure you read the Coil Legacy series first. I’m not giving anything away, but we know Wes has one eye. The continued references to his only have one eye get old. You will find yourself saying, I get it, Wes has one eye. Now that I have mentioned the annoying thing in the book, you will find Wes is someone you want for a friend. It is a challenge to all who read the book to be like Wes, because he seeks to be like Christ.
This is a good book with a moral lesson to it and it is well worth reading.
This is a simply written story yet beautifully told about someone taking the time to be human in a broken down world where humanity as an action is rare. It is definitely worth reading and the moral to the story is a good one. Even when you feel you can’t, this book suggest you should take the time to show human compassion.
Good book well written but way too short. Good base storyline. Need more fill in people as series cpntinues. Like the use of non lethal ammunition but cannot understand how get in 9mmsmm 2 ammo. Ps accidentally they re hit in and no entry aite.
What a great first book about Wes and God journey to find his wife and friends. I think this will be another favorite series of mine to talk about and to share.
Fantastic faith based fiction with a definite edge. Quickly bought the test of this series. Liked the way Wes dealt with bad guys and not so bad guys.Recommend
Just what I expected, love your neighbor ,love as I love you. And then forgive, cause He forgave us first. Short and exciting, filled with danger and hope.
I got all exited from the intro only to immediately be let down by the sheer ridiculousness of the characters and action, spoiler alert: the protagonist, a highly trained spy or something, although well armed and capable, has decided, in the apocalypse no less, to only shoot bad guys with tranquilizer bullets. Where he gets an arsenal of these exotic munitions is unanswered, at least in the beginning. His dialogue and negotiations with gangs and thugs is beyond stupid. What a colossal disappointment.
"Bold, loving, courageous, patient, sacrificial." These words are themes this book. Wes uses them to explain Jesus. They also describe the theme of the story perfectly. Wes also mentioned the Bible to a young bandit: "It'll teach you to live like a real man—a hero. God will change you from the inside"... This author's stories will help in that transformation, if you take the words to heart! I highly recommend book 1 and look forward to the next book in the Resolution series!
Part of the COIL organization so you know it will be fast paced and exciting. Plus the sharing of the Bible to people in need and who isn't? Best part is you can recommend this book to anyone. Thank you.
