Devon C. Ford

His career in public services started in his teens and has provided a wealth of experiences, both good and some very bad, which form the basis of the book ideas that cause regular insomnia.
He first started reading for fun as an adult, having tried his hardest to avoid anything resembling academia growing up, and at that point the world became a far bigger place. He has been reading, at least one book at a time, ever since.
His debut works, the After It Happened series, (Survival, Humanity, Society) were published in April 2016 followed by Hope (July 2016) and Sanctuary (December 2016). The first part of the series concluded with the release of Rebellion which was published in June 2017.

Review
This series is well thought out and very well written. The author is outstanding and created fascinating characters it was easy to like. Don’t miss this series of what happens after a deadly virus kills off over 90% of humanity. A more realistic idea now thanks to China.

This is a thrilling, compelling , violent , desperate society all hoping to find a peaceful way to live in a pandlike no other.
I love post apocalyptic books and the characters the writers describe to the point where you can see each person in your mind. Even at the end of the world as we know it, there are horrible people to contend with. It seems good vs evil never ends and the human race never learns to get along with each other. Read this book to meet the first 3 people; Dan, Neil and 12 yr old Leah and follow them as they meet others who have survived. Your heart will rejoice when they add people to their new family and fight to the death of those trying to hurt them. There will be any ups and downs, successes and failures and love and hate. The brutality that is described will not leave your memory for a long time, and maybe it shouldn't, in case we ever find ourselves in this position. We need to remember to not succumb to barbaric measures . We need to remember love starts with us. I think you will find the complexities of these characters keep you enthralled worth this series..

Great book, and characters
I never wanted to put this book down, and never wanted it to end. In this pandemic time it was good to read about people who were good, moral and all about the good of the whole. Defeat of the vicious, horrible people who only thought of what they wanted. I am ready for the next book from this author.

really engaging and satisfying series
I loved it! Was so nice to be able to read all the books, one after another. I recommend it for anyone who likes these post apocalyptic stories. There was a lot more to it than just the many battles.

Wow what a wild ride
An excellent series. Each volume a wild thriller of a ride. Great characters and storyline. Ford but together a really great series. Recommended reading for all post apocalyptic and action readers.

Riveting, exciting, poigant, fun read
I enjoyed this tale so much it was almost sad to get to the end. A story like this just goes on and on. It's very satisfying with action, drama and a little romance. Just full of life...
