Rodney W. Hartman
21 books111 followers Rodney Hartman is a retired US Army veteran with over twenty years of experience in military operations ranging from Infantry Private in the paratroops to Chief Warrant Officer flying helicopters during the Persian Gulf War. Mr. Hartman worked for many years as a computer programmer before retiring and pursuing a career as a fulltime writer. Mr. Hartman lives in North Carolina with his wife and family along with their cat, McKenzie.

Help me read more books
This book could have been the completion to the series, but the author didn't end it here. I'm hoping the extra books are as good as the previous ones have been, but I'll know more once I begin reading the next book. I don't mind authors drawing out their stories to make more books, more books is never a bad thing. ONly, I hope this series isn't like the Wheel of Time, where the forward progress of the story reduced drastically after the first 5 or 6 books. My impression while reading the rest of the books was that the progression had dropped to 1/4 speed. I sincerely hope that isn't the case here.
For now though, I will continue with the series, and we'll see what happens next.

What I want my family to read
Hartman writes stories if heros with the nibek character if the Superman I read in comics in my youth. But those stories long ago had nothing of the tense action, fierce battles, and complex conflicts of the Wizard Scout series. Superman was 63 years ago for me. But here I am, at 4:43 in the morning, writing a review for another volume of a saga I don't want to end. And best of all, I can recommend it to my grandkids - which I cannot do for today's 'Superman'. Maybe Hartman writes for his family, too.

Not a good next book in the series
Have really enjoyed the this series so far, however book 7 was a real let down. The book jumps from one thread to another, one thread getting so far in the timeline and then the next goes back to earlier and starts again
The storyline as a whole takes forever to progress, I would estimate you could tell the same story just as effectively in half the number of pages
Book 8 is out there and I will read it, but the author needs to up his game back to previous levels, or book 8 will be the last for me

Great book
And a great part in the series, just as you thought that the obvious enemy's were going to battle it out with the good guys to end the series, think again. Really enjoyed the book and the series...

Time travel plus demons equals trouble
Interdimesional warfare at it's best. How the author keeps the timeline straight is a mystery to me.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure.

Should have stopped at book 3
There is a reason trilogies are popular. If you can't fit it in 3 books, it isn't worth anyone's time.

meh, a slow book, not the worst, not the best from the series, all plotlines ever soo sloowly spiraling towards the end.
