This book is a lesson of decisions and consequences , adapted from anti corruption lectures given to the Los Angeles Police Department. It explains how my career with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department ended with my conviction for skimming drug money during the service of search warrants, money laundering, theft of government funds and tax evasion. It is my hope that by reading this, some police officers, as well as others who are in a position of authority will learn from my mistakes.
