Very good story. I read another book by this author first, that apparently happens around the same time as this one, in the same world, and while that gave nice background for the world, I think folks could easily enjoy this one without having read the other one first, especially since this one takes place in a different area of the world, though it certainly looks like both of these books are going to combine in the next book in the series. I think that will be very interesting. I like this series, and plan to keep an eye out for more as they show up. I suspect most LitRPG fans will enjoy this one as well.
