Yvette Reynolds craved to become a mother after being raised by two loving parents. At the young age of twenty, she fell in love with and married,Blue, who was 28. As she struggles with fertility, she begins to see another side of Blue that she never expected. When she becomes pregnant, Yvette discovers that she and Blue are not on the same page regarding their future together.
For Yvette, when it rains, it pours. One tragedy that affects her family snowballs into a domino effect for another. In just a few months, Yvette's life is full of mourning death, strains on her marriage, and post partum disorder.
When her daughter disappears, Yvette has no one in her corner for support or to defend her. Is it possible that her desperation for peace caused her to be negligent,or worse, commit murder ?
This story was so great! This was my first read from this author and definitely won't be my last. I felt like I haven't read a fast paced book in a long time to have me flying through the pages and this one did it for me. Im about to find Part 2 to this story if there is one. I need to know who is the culprit! I hated Blue so much and Jan and Claire were right about him. The characters and the plot is EVERYTHING! I would give this story more than 5 stars if I could.
This poor girl has been through the ringer. To lose your parents then you’re miscarrying and then a terrible husband and it’s just so much. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Wow!!! This book made me super emotional. And my head is spinning right now tryna piece together clues of who could have done it. It left on a cliffhanger so I’m going to start book 2 NOW!!!!
They Think I Killed Her was an engaging and quick read. Some grammatical errors made it a bit challenging to follow at times, but I am eager to see how it unfolds. Moving on to Part 2.
Who knows what evil that lurks in the hearts of men (from the Shadow knows). This book sure showed the evil of this one man. Captured me from the start and I could not put it down.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow. I can’t wait to read part 2. Blue was so dirty to his wife.. I just don’t understand why he just didn’t divorce Catri instead of doing that to her!!!! Omg I feel so sorry for her. Awe man the poor baby. I pray to God Ebony did do anything to that baby! This was a short read but very entertaining! It held my interest from page one! Great job
