This book was perfectly lovely! I read it as part of the Read Women’s 2020 challenge for prompt 4) Picture book by a BIPOC. While searching, our group came across this local New Brunswick author from the Tobique First Nation community. I highly recommend this book. Explanation of child birth is so sweet and easily understood by young children. The illustrations are colourful and vibrant.
