This a new author and she is definitely worth a go, the story was engaging, sweet and sexy.
Ellie is chosen to Callan’s new assistant by the partners after they take one look at her and her fuller body figure and curves she is not the usual type of woman and his playboy ways have caused him to go through more assistants in the past year than cups of coffee. Ellie is determined not to be just another notch on his bedpost she is there to work not work the boss but when they finally meet will Ellie be able to resist the attraction that she feels or will she end up like all the others before her?
Callan has never lied to a woman and has always made it clear that what they have is physical but they never seem to believe him until it’s too late, now with a playboy reputation the partners are insisting they choose his new assistant but when he arrives at work and sees the woman they have chosen could not be more perfect and she is the one he wants for more than just a night how can he convince her that she is everything he wants in a woman and could not be anymore his type.
I did enjoy this book it was fun, quick and safe perfect for a quick escape. 3.5 ***

All these short shorties.. been reading to many long books lol. Also a debut story by this author!! Quick short read.
Ellie is hired to be the PA to Callan his partners think the way she looks plus size that would make Callan not want her and save themselves in losing another PA. As for Callan he is sorta playboy? He tries not to flirt or mess around with PA's but it happens (it wasn't shown bless) sometimes and when he tells them its for fun they get angry and quit or mess up his work. Now he made a promise no more until he spots his new PA Ellie and he wants more then a one night.. he wants everything with her. They take it slow since she has had bad experiences with former bosses and boyfriends. They hit few bumps in the road but Callan doesn't give up he makes sure Ellie knows he won't every treat her bad or leave her.. lord i love Callan he was a good book boyfriend..

This was a pretty decent read. Besides Callan being a playboy and sleeping his way through his assistants he was a good guy. Once he met Ellie he was instantly head over heels for her and 100% all in. Ellie hasn’t been treated all that kindly because of her size and has had an issue with a previous boss being too handsy. Her attraction is instant but she is weary because of both their pasts. I really thought she would question his feelings for her because he had a bad habit of sleeping with his assistants but that never crossed her mind. I liked the two together and Callan was super sweet and patient and was willing to wait for when Ellie was ready to take things farther. He really was a good guy.

Completely safe. No ow drama. Mentions of h’s previous boss being grabby and firing her for not sleeping with him. She is also attacked by a stranger while walking home. There is a brief mention of the attack, nothing overly graphic. Hero arrives in time to stop anything serious from happening.
H is a manwhore who sleeps his way through his assistants and h is a virgin. There are no scenes with op, the H’s past is only talked about, nothing graphic.

I never read from this author before but I will after this! This gave the insta love vibes I was after and left me with a smile on my face after I was reading about these characters. I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

Could have been so much better
This is my first book by this author, and it will be the last. Terrible grammar, missing words, poor character development and an amazingly bad epilogue. Thankfully, I read it through KU.

I liked the humor in this book because I was very entertained by it. The internal thoughts from him were reflective of his actions. He was over the top alpha-isk and the pace was fast but enjoyable. I did think that she should have been a bit more cautious given her history but it didn't take away from the story.

I hated the first half of this book but the second half was an improvement until the very end and the epilogues.
The beginning of the book is the H on vacation thinking about the fact that he has to stop sleeping with all his secretaries because it sucks to have to keep replacing them. Then we cut to the heroine at a job interview where the H’s business partners are looking for a new assistant for him. She’s fat shamed by the other applicants. Then the interview consisted of the men asking her totally inappropriate questions about her personal life and hiring her basically because she’s fat and they don’t figure the H will sleep her. More fat shaming. Insta-love which really makes no sense. More fat shaming. The lamest epilogues ever. The end.

This book was plain... there were a lot of plot points that could have been used to create tension but were instantly pushed aside.
Also she kept using the word “sat” incorrectly and it was driving me mental. Plus a few other spelling errors.
I liked the characters though, they had a good solid base. They just weren’t given a compelling arch to use.
This would be a good first read for people who are new to short insta love stories. Not too raunchy or over the top.

short but cute
Obviously, a very short story so it moved very quickly but I did enjoy how the characters were introduced. This is not the short story you read for realism but I did love Ellie and how her inner thoughts reminded me of me. Callan’s development wasn’t as defined and we didn’t leave much about him other than his delicious love of curvy girls. Overall a very good read. Was done within 30 mins and it was lovely.

Fantastic read!!!
This is a quick office romance that I absolutely loved!!! This is a older man younger woman story that I couldn’t put down. This story has everything in to keep you hooked until the very end. The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot!!! I would definitely recommend this book.

No protection after his being a manwhore before meeting her? Really??
She's VERY insecure about being a bigger girl, but she's clearly not all that big. What is she...a size 14?? So tired of these "curvy" romances only being for small, average-sized heroines.
The ending/epilogue was abrupt and didn' tallow the book to have a "button" at the end.

Didn't like it
I just couldn't get into the story.
Lots of worrying, looking, talking but no real connection that I could sense even though I was told it was there repeatedly.

Quick office romance
Simple and quick office love story. It was hard at times to read over the typos/grammar issues, but I would rate it four stars. I plan on reading the remaining books in the series. It’s nice to read a story with a bbw.

A sweet story with loads of heat. My only real beef with it is how quickly Ella went from “I’m not going to mess around with my PLAYBOY boss” to Into his bed. He is a playboy and she’d at least should have taken time to get to know him.

Callan & Ellie's story was super sweet! A boss, older man/younger woman and curvy girl romance all in one!
Callan has a way of "loving" and leaving his assistants so when the firm hires Ellie hoping a curvy girl won't catch his eye, boy are they wrong. But they are also wrong about Callan, he doesn't want a quick fling with Ellie, he wants forever and he is willing to play the long game to with the girl.
This was a super sweet story with plenty of my favorites: billionaire boss, curvy girl, and older man/younger woman dynamic

This was a good read i liked the characters there instant connection but the ending fell a bit flat for me as well as the epilogues.

I liked this short story. Ellie is strong and has put up with a lot in her past, mostly due to her size. Callan is her new boss and is known for being a player, to Ellie’s surprise Callan finds her attractive and special, not a one-night stand. I thought both characters were well written and likable, and the plot was an interesting and fun one to read. The two work well together both in the office and out of the office. There are issues and some misunderstandings but they both work together and towards their HEA.
