The Runemaster

Rate this book
She chased her dreams…

… into someone else’s nightmare.

Her hometown and everything in it reminds Jessica Burns of her dead husband. Trapped in grief, all she wants is to escape the memories. She leaves behind family and friends, and moves halfway around the world to buy a rundown Irish castle.

But the ancient fortress harbors memories of its own.

While restoring Dynmore Manor, Jess uncovers Viking runes that reveal an angry secret—one born of love and vengeance. Only the power of the Runemaster can right the wrong that was done, but how can Jess enlist the help of a Druid who died a thousand years ago?

And she isn’t alone in her search for the Runemaster. Another desires the Power, and will kill to get it.

Jess must find the Runemaster before her new life, and everyone in it, is
destroyed.

T. R. Kerby has led a life of high adventure and travel to exotic places… ok, not so much, but she has worn a lot of hats. She has been a fry cook, a trail guide, a horse trainer, and a veterinary technician as well as other less interesting things. Her weaknesses include chocolate and rescuing lost souls, mostly animals, but sometimes people. She currently lives in the Rocky Mountains with some of her rescues including her husband, two dogs, and a herd of horses. She brings her varied life experiences to the table in her books and short stories. Get FREE short stories when you join my Reader's Club. Click here: http://eepurl.com/dKgeMI

The Runemaster is a nice mix of past and present, Irish castles, and Viking lore. It's well written and fast paced with engaging characters and a page turning plot.
