Cora Caspian has been nanny to adorable triplet girls since the day they were born. But when their parents die in a tragic fire, she’s more than a bit stunned when their will dictates that a particular former Navy SEAL become the girls’ co-guardian with her. She’ll be in charge of the girls’ health and happiness…and William Royce will keep them safe. Of all the men in the hired security firm, William seems to her to be the least likely to take care of three toddlers. He’s all alpha male, muscle, and military might—not at all what the girls need. And certainly not at all what Cora needs—even if he is the sexiest man she’s ever seen. Having been raised as a military brat, she knows what it’s like to grow up in a home with a man who puts duty first and feelings last—just like William. Turns out, though, William is nothing like her father. He takes his job seriously, but he’s good with the girls in a way she never could have anticipated. And when he’s alone with Cora, good doesn’t begin to describe how he is…
As an orphan with no idea how to be part of a family, being named guardian of three toddlers just might be William’s worst nightmare. Even worse is sharing a home with their stunningly attractive nanny-turned-mother, who’s made it perfectly clear she thinks he’s the wrong man for the job. But when it becomes apparent someone’s trying to harm the triplets, William’s protective feelings get riled up. Cora is riling up feelings too, ones he can’t ignore. Suddenly, being part of a real family may be what his lonely life needs—even if it’s only temporary.
As the danger to the triplets grows, William realizes all the warm and fuzzy feelings are getting in the way of his duty. To protect the triplets, he’ll have to put up a wall between the new family he’s built, but losing Cora and the triplets might just destroy him.
This novel contains sexual content, violence and profanity.
It isn’t a big surprise Katie Knight ended up writing romances about the stellar, studdly men of the Navy SEALs; after all, she was a K-9 trainer for the SEALs and met her own Navy SEAL hero husband while preparing one of their K-9 partners for combat. A few years after their marriage, her and hubby decided to retire with their K-9 partner, Sam, to raise their children in the Midwest. It wasn’t long after that before Katie decided to write her own stories featuring the men of the SEAL teams and the women who love them.
When not imagining dangerously romantic scenarios for her heroes and their feisty heroines, Katie enjoys hikes with her husband and Sam, spending time with her children, and long runs (on and off the beach).
The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets by: Katie Knight, Leslie North
I tend to forget my head and give into my heart when it comes to surprise baby stories. Particularly when the father in question is fearless when it comes to facing danger, but terrified when it comes to exposing his heart. The Seal's Unexpected Triplets has elements of that wicked adorableness, but it also throws in a bit of naughty to set off sparks in the heart. A dangerous man and a sweet hearted nanny find themselves guardians of a set of triplet girls. Instant family lands these new parents in some serious hot water. With danger or their heels, attraction in their hearts and innocents to protect, all bets are off. Cora and William take romance to new heights in this heartstopping romance.
What a wonderful book! This author spun a tale that took the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. There were times that I was glued to the pages trying to figure out who was after the triplets. At other times my heart swelled with happiness as William interacted with these sweet little girls. Some of the scenes with William and the girls brought laughter as he was introduced into a life of more than being a soldier, but one that brought him into being a part of a family. But let there be no doubt, when Cora and William were together their chemistry is off the charts! Whether they were verbally sparring, working together to protect the triplets, or hitting the sheets together, this couple is amazing! While this is the first book I have read by this author, it will not be the last. I highly recommend this book for a big 5 star read

Sweet, Steamy Romance with Some Danger…And Adorable 3-year-old Triplets
When I first saw the cover of this book, my mind immediately went to one of the very common tropes that happen in contemporary romance, namely that the SEAL in the title would have been surprised by a former lover returning to his life, telling him that he is the father of her triplets. This book is nothing of the sort. Instead, this former SEAL has been handpicked by a couple, now deceased, to protect and act as co-guardian to their 3-year-old triplets. He shares guardianship duty with their nanny, Cora. As so often happens in contemporary romance, the attraction sparks fly as soon as they meet, though because of her distant ex-military father, she has a distinct bias against military men. He has his own wounds, of course, which makes it hard for him to get close to and stay close to any woman. They don't fight their mutual attraction for long, and the intimate moments in the book have a sweetness to them, even though they are certainly steamy. The stars of the books, however, are the little girl triplets. Each has her distinct personality, and one has a much harder time liking our hero, but eventually, all the females succumb. And how could they not? While he has little experience with young children, he has a whole lot of heart and loves singing the children to sleep and helping with bath time, not minding if he gets soaked to the bone. He is very awkward with the girls at first, but he gives it his best…which is actually quite good. He goes so far as to take a babysitting class—where he is mostly learning alongside 14-year-old girls! Like all romances, this one has an extended black moment, and as I grew to like all the characters, it was hard to watch them stumble and fumble their way to an HEA, but, of course, they managed it. The epilogue is absolutely darling. I love me a well-done epilogue, icing on the cake of any good story and one that leaves the reader satisfied knowing that things continue to get better for the couple. I’m a very visual reader, and I can just imagine the sweet proposal scene with the “flower” girls.
It wasn't always wild about the narrator. I think she sometimes made the heroine a little too giggly and little-girlish for the immense responsibilities she was taking on with such skill and care. It wasn't enough to detract from the story. I just wish she varied the voice a little to more match the scene. All in all, though, I really enjoyed this audiobook.
I received a promotional code for this book, but that did not affect my review.
This was the first time I’d read this author. It was an OK read. There were things I really liked, and others that I just didn’t get. Individually I really liked all of the characters. William was the strong protective guardian. Comfortable with the security he was hired to implement. And a complete fish out of water where the triplets were concerned. But he tried. He took a babysitting class to learn what was best for them. He played with them, talked with them and he sang them to sleep every night. Absolutely adorable. Cora was the caregiver. Becoming the triplets guardian after the sudden tragic death of their parents. Loving the girls like they were her own. She was overwhelmed and exhausted but she kept her chin up and kept going. The girls were her first and only priority. She was weary of William in the beginning, with good cause, but she was willing to bend a bit to keep the girls safe. The girls, Paige, Melody and Haley. Were adorable precocious little things. Each independent and very much their own person. Paige was the outgoing alpha of the trio. Melody was the happy carefree one, and Haley was the shy, quiet one. They were a handful, busy and in to everything. But could also be clingy and loving in the next moment. I had a hard time seeing William and Cora as a couple. There was definitely chemistry and lust between them, I just didn’t feel that “true love let’s be a real family“ connection. The girls vocabulary and actions were way more advanced than what most three year olds would have been. Especially since the were still sleeping in cribs and wearing diapers at night. Most times they read much older than their three years. The big mystery of who was after the triplets, wasn’t much of a mystery. It was interesting to see it play out on page, but not to difficult to figure out. It wasn’t a bad book, just not a great one. Not sure if I’ll be looking for the next one. It is told in dual points of view. There was no cheating, no cliffhanger. It does have a happy ever after ending.
The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets starts with a tragic and heartbreaking event that throws together a the single, attractive and harried nanny/guardian, a retired Navy SEAL trying to find his way in civilian life, and three vivacious, rambunctious and adorable three-year olds who will capture your heart.
William has just started his new role with Alert Security and the last thing he expected or wanted, was to be assigned the protection of not one, but three active toddlers. Throw in their alluring nanny and he is toast. Cora has loved these amazing children since she first laid eyes on them, and now with the tragic loss of their parents, she has become their whole world. But can she let done her guard enough to share the triplets care and welfare with an unnervingly handsome, and totally off limits ex-military man.
The storyline and plot development of this book is wonderful. It has a realistic timeline, and a believable course of events that lead to the undeniable attraction between Cora and William. But what truly makes this an exceptional read, is the overwhelming effect these delightful toddlers have on this hardened SEAL. Everything in William's life has been structured and organised since the tender age of nine, but he soon learns that three little girls are harder to manage than a unit of disciplined soldiers.
I’m sure readers will fall in love with this enchanting group of people as they find their way and fight an unknown foe who has nefarious intent for these captivating little girls. But be prepared to cry a few tears, as there are moments in this story that will pull on your heart strings and your emotional strength. Especially the baby monitor scene, late in the book! I hope you all enjoy this latest offering from Katie Knight as much as I did.
This is the story of three triplets whose parents died in a restaurant fire. The mother and father were the only relatives they had, really. So the parents had established the nanny or caregiver as their guardian, in the event anything happened to them. Cora Caspian was the girl's guardian, their names were Paige, Melody and Haley Lawrence. They were triplets but they were not identical but they were all girls, Cora had been their nanny since they were born. Before the triplets parents died, they setup William Royce as the protector for them. They knew because they were wealthy, that someone could try to harm the girls. So Cora was suppose to be their caregiver and William was suppose to keep them safe. Cora did not think it was a good idea for William to be the protector assigned to them because she was judging on the way her father treated her and her mother when she was dying when Cora was 14. She felt her father put his job as colonel in the service ahead of her and her mother. So this is the story of how a girl who was an only child and the only relative left was her father, in who she was estranged and William Royce whose parents and older brother, who was a savant died in an airplane crash and he was shipped off to a relative and at the age of 9 he was sent to military school and at 18 he joined the Navy Seals. This is the struggle of different people man, woman and children trying to keep each other safe and loved and trying to help each other with the losses in their lives, struggling to become a family. Good book. Easy reading.

OMG - I loved this book so much. The story starts off sad as the nanny now guardian is having to meet the new security person that will be living with her to protect the triplets whose parents died in an accident leaving them alone in the world and no other family to care for them. Although it has a sad beginning, it does have some funny moments. The triplets are awesome each with its own character: Paige is the first born - demanding and independent; while Melody is the second born and always happy but doesn't like to be bossed around; the last one born was Haley, she was quiet & shy and the last to trust strangers. Cora is the nanny turned guardian as the Lawrence's, left their estate to the children, but paying her to be the guardian of the children until they were able to claim their estate. William is the ex seal that was hired by the Lawrence's to make sure that their children were protected as they feared someone would try to harm them as they are the sole heirs of their empire. The banter between William and Cora is to die for as they are also attracted to each other. This book does have suspense and action, as someone is trying to kill all four of them not just the kids. Once you get to reading you will probably figure out who it is, but I won't give it away as something does happen that puts one of the child in danger and not just once but twice. I loved the suspense in finding out what happened next and the interaction between William and the kids.

Terrific Attraction Makes for Enjoyable Reading. This author picked an intriguing storyline about a rugged former Seal, William, now working for a high tech security firm. He’s received a job of guarding three year old triplets and their house and nanny, Cora who is now their guardian due to the unforeseen death of their wealthy parents. As the plot thickens it seems like it was wise to have security around. Also for arousal interests, it was good to be in the same house as Cora. To getting to know the girls, Paige, Melody, and Haley, it was good that everyone lived in the house together. Or is it? The storyline for the most part was well put together and flowed well from chapter to chapter. One small issue I have is not completing a lead that is put out there then never talked about again. This happened twice. And while it didn’t impact the flow or ending it was treated like a throw away. I vote for not putting them in at all. The characters are very well-written. William had my heart and tears as I did toward the girls. That’s not to say anything was wrong with Cora. She was written as a woman who rises to the challenge. Well, duh...of course she does! ;) Bottom Line: This is a very good story with an amazing ending and epilogue. So I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and satisfaction. I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.
Cora Caspian who has been the nanny for a set of adorable triplets becomes their guardian when their parents die in a tragic fire. Cora is surprised to learn former Navy Seal, William Royce, who is the sexiest man she has ever seen will be co-guardian with her and in charge of keeping the girls safe. Cora doesn't want the girls living in a house like she grew up in where her military father put duty ahead of family, but Cora learns quickly that William is nothing like her father. William is dedicated to his job but finds he has strong feelings for the girls and Cora. When the girls are threatened, William feels he is distracted by wanting to be part of a family and closes himself off from the girls and Cora. Cora is frustrated with William pushing her and the girls away. Will William walk away once the threat to the girl's is eliminated? Will Cora push William away before he can hurt her or the girls? Will Cora realize their family isn't complete without William? Will William realize he needs Cora and the girls? I really loved The Seal's Unexpected Triplets by Katie Knight . The chemistry between William and Cora is HOT! Love how William, Cora, and the triplets became a family. It was sweet how the triplets loved William singing to them. Who wouldn't love a Navy Seal singing to them? I would highly recommend getting The Seal's Unexpected Triplets and any other books by Katie Knight. I received an ARC of this book via Bad Boy Update, and I am leaving my honest review.
Big Bad ex Navy SEAL gets taken down by triplet toddler girls
Well the SEAL definitely got unexpected triplets plus a young nanny/co-guardian in this story. Cora was working as the nanny to the cute triplets - Haley, Melody and Paige, since they were born. When their parents are killed in a fire she become a guardian to the girls but there is a little surprise also in the form of William. He is an ex Navy SEAL who now works as a bodyguard and provides security. He has also been named as guardian, which is the last thing he ever thought would happen. So everyone is thrown together and has to figure out how this new arrangement is going to work. Each of the girls is different from each other but they are wonderful characters in the story. What I had a harder time with was believing there was anything but lukewarm attraction between Cora and William. But the story is well written, it has an interesting story-line with some danger and drama and the characters are great with contrasts in their personalities. One thing I did like was the way William was with the triplets and trying to figure out how to be a member of a family. I did like this story but would have liked more chemistry between Cora and William.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets By: Katie Knight, Leslie North Narrated by: Allie Shae
What happens when the three year old triplets you have become guardian to are in danger? Cora, the nanny of girls is forced to deal with the stiff, professional security guard that has been assigned to her. William is an ex-SEAL and protecting people is his job. But kids? Neither is excited about this job, but when William comes in and finds himself becoming immersed in family love and feelings, there is nothing he won't do to keep them safe. Even if it means ignoring his budding feelings for Cora. Cora gives in to having William around, and her heart is slowly finding him irresisible. Will these two find themselves the unexpected family? Cora is an amazing character. Fiercely protective of her girls, she isn't relinquishing her power easily. William is stoic and steadfast, but his heart melts when it comes to these three. There is nothing more alluring about a man than when he sings lullabies! This is a fantastic listen and start to the SEAL's Babies series. I love Katie Knight and can't wait for book 2!
Allie Shae brings this gem to life with an amazing narration. Her story telling makes it easy to fall into the life of these characters. I especially love her kid voices! She made the listen entertaining and a good escape!
I have really come to love Katie Knight's stories. She has a knack for being able to draw the reader in and never once lose their attention. If this story is any indication, Ms Knight has a super successful future ahead.
The book brings the reader in just after the deaths of Bob and Jeanie Lawrence. Cora Caspian is awarded guardianship of the couple's triplet daughter, Haley, Melody, and Paige. But she must share guardian with an ex-Navy Seal, William Royce. The biggest catch, William is in charge of the girls' safety and has never had contact with children. He was orphaned at the age of nine and has no real family to pull life experience from. On the other hand, Cora has been the nanny of the three toddlers from infancy and is still grieving the lost of the Lawrence's as well. William is not only tasked with the safety of the Lawrence triplets and their nanny, but also finding out who wants the tikes dead. When he finally solves the riddle, he will stop at nothing to keep his girls safe. A beautiful HEA is the perfect climax to the wonderfully written tale. And although there were several steamy scenes, nothing was overly in-your-face.

ONE PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!! Exceptional! Katie stacks the deck, throws the dice and runs the gambit. Racking 'em up and stretching 'em out, throwing this jewel into the eye of the storm, catapulting into a tailspin with a shocking culmination. One mind blowing, jaw dropping, heart pounding, pulse racing, block buster, rasing 'em up, thrusting this gem to staggering heights. Disbursing incredibly, well rounded scenario's that punch dead center, ramping up the skill and adrenaline with such intensity and precision, fusing this bad boy together piece by piece. Riding roughshod through the mayhem, cornering the chaos and corralling the shenanigans, steadying the turmoil and distress, blazing a new path, blasting this baby to life beautifully. Carefully treading through the trials and tribulations, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. The chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing an undeniable bond and amplifying affections, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters and scenes are so colorfully descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Katie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Standard contemporary forced proximity plot, Cora is former nanny and now guardian to a set of wealthy three year old triplets. Their parents were killed in slightly suspicious circumstances, and they have left instructions in their will for security for their children in the form of a live in guard/security expert.
William is an orphaned ex seal, his parents and brother died in a plane crash when he was nine and he was sent to military school. He’s injured his ankle in manoeuvres and has retired and joined a security firm.
Under duress Cora agrees he can move in with her and the girls. He insists on a more scheduled approach with the children, which works, and he learns how to care for them/ look after them too.
Once they quickly succumb to their mutual attraction, can Cora get over her hurt at being abandoned by her military father, and trust William, and can William let down his guard enough to be part of a family.
This was quite predictable and followed the set formula, and didn’t hold my interest for long. The sex scenes were a little dull, and the relationship a little one dimensional.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and all opinions are my own.
When Bob and Jennie die in a fire, Cora, their nanny, becomes mom to their triplets. Their will also specified that William, a recently discharged SEAL, will provide live-in security. Cora and William agree about very little. She won't acknowledge how hard it is to be the sole parent to the girls, or how tired she is, or that the might need his help on occasion. They finally fall into a nice rhythm in the household. But accidents begin to happen, and they're not really accidents. Who would want to hurt Cora or the girls? As with everything I've read from this author, I absolutely love this book - romance, of course, but also suspense, cute children, a beautiful and strong woman, and a hot SEAL. Cora and William disagree about nearly everything in the beginning, but before long, they're on a slow burn, then they totally sizzle. Despite his upbringing, William falls into a groove with the girls, and they just love him. I'm looking forward to this author's next book.

When Cora the nanny now legal guardian to triplet girls finds out that the parents had hired a security company for a live in guard to protect the girls. She was fighting it all the way.She hates military men since her father was a former Marine special ops big wig.She thought all military men only cared for the military. When William a former Navy Seal is informed that the triplets parents chose him to be that man.William didn;t know what to do around triplets. The danger, suspense and the hot chemistry between William and Cora is off the charts. Can these two damaged souls find healing and love in each other;s arms? There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what;s next by this multi talented author.

Ms. Katie Knight has just released an endearing book surrounding two wonderfully crafted characters and it is jam packed with dramatic romance from beginning to end. This release is sure to keep you glued throughout.
I try very hard never to give away any part of the plot, so that I do not ruin it for other readers, that being said, here it goes...
She is the only Nanny these little ones; triplets; Paige, Melody & Haley, have ever known, and when tragedy strikes, Cora is tasked with co-parenting these little ones with a man she's never met. William has never before been faced with a challenge such as this, but, as he and Cora battle the chemistry between them, danger lurks. Trust that you will want to follow along as these two characters find their way to their much deserved happily ever after.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of The Seal's Unexpected Triplets in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.
I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything published by Ms. Knight.
When Paige's, Melody's and Haley's parents die in a fire their nanny Cora and an Ex Navy Seal William get shared guardianship of the girls. Cora is leery of leaving William alone with the girls even after he has pass social services tests because there's more than just sitting and letting the girls play with you. So she asks him to take a babysitting class and he agrees. He learns a lot and isn't embarrassed when he's the oldest one there. He wants to not only be able to protect the girls and Cora but to be able to help Cora take care of them. Soon it become clears that William has been accepted into their family whether he wants to be or not. Will he be able to catch the threat to them? Will he stay once its been dealt with?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets is full of suspense and action. William's transition from SEAL to his civilian job protecting toddler triplets and their nanny is fascinating as he learns how to deal with three inquisitive little girls and still protect them from an unknown person. Cora, guardian and nanny to the triplets, is originally hostile to William's presence in the house. As the threats become more obvious, she has to revise her beliefs about military men and work with William to protect the girls. As Cora and William move from their rocky start to respect for one another to something more, the authors show the journey as 3 steps forward followed by a step back (much like life for most of us) with lots of personal growth for both Cora and William. Finally, they get the happy ending they deserve but there are many nail biting moments for the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one from Ms. North and Ms. Knight.
I received an early readers copy of the book from the author via Netgalley. The opinions in the review are my own.
I enjoyed reading this. I like both characters, they are a bit stubborn but they have great chemistry and restraint but especially love their patience and diligence taking care of the triplets. This "job" opens up a new opportunity for William and he realistically portraits the difficulties that come along with that. Very heartwarming, the girls are sweet and rambunctious of course. It was interesting reading how these warriors worked out their differences, challenges and experiences and then compromise for the good of the family. It was kind of obvious to me who the culprit is but I love part that too, because I'd rather be captivated then analytical when reading fiction, lol. I love the whole story but Chapter 28 has a wealth of feeling and is a slam dunk, icing on the cake, drop the mic moment!!! Very well done Ms. Knight! This was a wonderful book about a nanny (Cora) who is given guardianship of adorable triplet girls when their parents die under mysterious circumstances. The parents had also left in their will that there would be a co-guardian, a former SEAL named William. There are some funny events as the two guardians get used to their new roles and, of course, they fall in love (it is a ROMANTIC suspense after all!) The suspense part comes in when they find that someone is targeting the girls, wanting to even KILL them in order to get the money their parents had left them. It was a little bit too easy to figure out who the suspect probably was, so the suspenseful part could have been increased by having more suspects. But the threats and attacks definitely provided a lot of suspense in themselves. I highly recommend this book!

Cora is the nanny and now guardian of triplet girls, who lost both parents in a restaurant fire. The parents having no relatives, setup for Cora to be there guardian on the event something happens to them as well as William to be there protector. William has spent pretty much his whole life involved with the military, having been sent to military school at the age of nine after losing his family in a plane crash. Cora doesn't trust William because of his upbringing and her witnessing first hand how a military man puts the job first because her father was a colonel who pretty much abandoned her and her mother who has cancer. In this story you get people from different upbringings, personalities, and reasons for the way they are but in the end they push through the trials, dangers, and feelings to form a bond and maybe even love.

The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets by Katie Knight and Leslie North is a stand alone romance novel in their SEAL's Series. Meet Cora Caspian and William Royce. Cora is the nanny and now guardian of three little girls. The parents lost their lives and Cora and the triplets need protection. And that comes in form of a former Navy SEAL. William Royce is a warrior, battered on body and soul. He's a fierce protector and when he meets the four women he loses his heart rather quickly. He would do everything to protect them from any danger. But Cora is stubborn and she needs some time to get aquinted with the idea of a protector, a bodyguard in her everyday life. The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets is a heartwarming story, a sweet romance that made me swoon, made me smile and at some point had me on the edge of my seat. The book is excellent written with a great storyline and lovable characters I could easily connect with.
How different can your life look when you leave the army and think you are going to do security work ..... and then it turns out that you will be the protector of a triple of 3 years. The triplets and their guardians are threatened with death and it is not clear where the threat comes from. As an orphan, he does not know how to deal with family life but has to learn this quickly. Where he first sees the triplets and their guardian as work quickly changes when he falls for the guardian, Cora. Soon the 3 girls started to find a way to his heart and he finds it increasingly difficult to keep his distance and then he makes mistakes. That makes William realize that he is not allowed to mix work and pleasure ....... but what if love starts to mix in? A beautiful love story where the chemistry was not always strongly present, but the battle that William wages between conscience and feeling certainly did

This was a story of a nanny who receives guardianship of triplets when their parents die in an accident and the ex-Navy Seal chosen to protect them.
Overall this book was a good read, but seemed to only barely scratch the surface of certain plot lines while also feeling a bit too long. There are a number of story arcs which are brought up and then never resolved, including what actually happened to the children's parents.
There is a certain mystery the book is building to that turns out to be completely obvious and also ends in an overly quick and shallow conclusion. The whodunit moment being built up to for the entire first 75% of the book is solved and dealt with within a few pages and feels skimmed over.
The main love interests are good together, but we really only get 1-2 meaningful conversations with each other before they fall in love. Chemistry is great, but the Emotional connection felt rushed and underplayed.
A beautiful listen of a well written and beautifully narrated romance. Our main characters are Cora and William along with three young triplets who have lost too much, too soon in their little lives. Former SEAL William is thrust into their lives in a unique situation and soon finds himself battling an inner struggle to become part of their lives or do his job and save their lives. Cora struggles with a work balance as well as accepting help when offered...Love the strength of these characters, the uniqueness of the triplets personality and Williams ability to show his softer side from the very beginning. Dual narration was perfectly done and brought these characters to life and the storyline flowed perfectly and was a great balance of sweet, steam and exhitement.

This was another great book by Katie Knight. Cora is given guardianship of the triplets she has cared for since they were infants after her employers are killed. No longer their nanny, she is now both mother and father to three adorable little girls. Not only did the parents specify in their will that Cora raise them but also planned for live-in security. William, an ex-Navy Seal is prepared to protect but he knows nothing about children. Cora thinks having security is unnecessary and doesn't want any help. But after attempts are made to kill her and the girls, Cora realizes the danger they could be in. Cora also has her own personal reasons for wanting nothing to do with military men. But gradually Cora and William grow closer as William becomes attached not only to Cora but also the triplets. Will they find their HEA?
