Scriptures from the Bible compiled into one book for different situations people are going through in life, the books’s purpose is to try to provide comfort and help for miscellaneous things in life and how to cope but whether it will actually help anyone or not depends on whether they believe in the Bible and God and also which religion/Bible they believe in. There are too many religions and some of them have different Bibles so this book would not necessarily appeal to everyone.

This book has been a tremendous help to me over the years. I have read it cover to cover, and I have also jumped to the sections I needed most at a given time. With the age of digital Bibles and search engines, I've become less dependent upon this book as a topical study guide. However, now that I am revisiting it to write a review, I do believe it's time to read it again.
