Good follow up

This book truly lives up to the title. The growth of the characters was fast paced and well developed. I hope the next book comes out soon.

I regret dragging down the ratings on these books, because I'm enjoying them enough to continue reading them. I like the concepts. I liked the raised stakes, and that the team didn't have conclusive victories all the way. The scope of the story is growing.

Still a lot of telling rather than showing, dialogue is clunky, but the concepts are fun and I like seeing the world expand.

Great story, great charcter but...

Riddled with grammatical errors. Poor use of language and editing was obviously rushed. At least one instance of proofreaders notes still in place. By themselves these things are small but together they reduce the story's impact.

I am enjoying the story, it is a grand vision if not completely original. The increasing pressure on the characters and the conflicting goals etc adds a bit of flavor. I will buy the next one and hope the author improves.
