Parsing Consciousness

Rate this book
Have you ever wondered what an illumination is? Some think it is contact with the divine. For centuries we have misunderstood illuminations and have assumed they are religious events. I lived through one. At first I thought I was the second coming. Now I question whether Jesus was the first coming. I believe that the experience of a living God is in actuality contact with autonomous corners of our mind. When we reach our mid thirties if we have been a serious student of life, wisdom begins to bubble to the surface, synchronous events are more frequent, and some mistake these oddities for divine events. Our consciousness has other contributors beside our self.
