I was so looking forward to January’s story after a quick glimpse of her character in His Resolution. This was a fast paced ever so slightly taboo read easy to read within an hour.
January has loved her ex stepbrother since the day they were introduced years ago but he has always made his dislike of her obvious, treating her like the annoying little sister he never wanted. She has tried to bury her feelings behind a wall of indifference and now that she is twenty she is ready to try and build her career. She has loved to sew and create lingerie in her mind it’s always been for Josh, hoping that her father will back her business idea and be her investor. Setting up a meeting on New Year’s Eve with her father is a step in the right direction, she wasn’t expecting Josh to be there but when he supports her, she sees that maybe her love hasn’t been wasted on him all these years, could they really have a future or is she just living in her fantasy world?
Josh has loved January Jones since she was too young for him to notice, after his mother married her father he knew that she was now off limits but his obsession with her has never waned and the marriage was over before it really started but Josh has continued to be a part of the family. Josh has help on to the hope that one day they could be together and once he sees her in her father’s office he knows that the time has come to finally be honest with the girl he has been waiting for, will she want his love or will she reject him and leave his heart in tatters?
This was a super cute story with the perfect Frankie Love spin on it, both of Josh and January’s characters were easy to care and read about and this is a highly recommended read. Easily a 4.5* read

While this may be a quick story, it's great! I loved every minute of it. Perfect for an evening read. I love reading anything by Frankie Love.

Loved Josh and January. They were such a good couple. Loved the chemistry between them. They had a taboo relationship since they were ex step siblings but the love they had for each other was there for a long time. A really good storyline that flowed perfectly. This book can be read in one sitting and you will be sad when it is over. Loved the epilogues. Love Frankie’s work and I can’t wait to read more.

What a way to start off the New Year!! A new book, new year, new decade, all started with reading about January first. Sweet, and beautifully descriptive, the kind where your cheeks hurt from smiling so much from reading this story. Loved the epilogues.

January first is book two in the ‘’kisses at midnight’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Josh has been in love with his ex stepsister for years. He has tried his hardest to stay away from temptation but will he finally cave? January Jones has been in love with her ex stepbrother for years. She doesn’t think he feels the same but is she about to be proven wrong?
The chemistry between January and Josh is clear to see and I liked them together.
I loved how January’s father reacted to the news.
Can I just say; I love January and Josh’s names. They fit together so well!
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

What a Fantastic New Years Eve Celebration!!!!
January's First by Frankie Love is a very sinful and deliciously sexy novella and is the perfect way to celebrate New Years.
January and Josh are ex step siblings. Her father and his mother were briefly married when Josh was in college and January was in high school. When he would come to stay with them over the holidays and during the summer January would always try to get his attention and tag along with him, which he did not allow. She had the biggest crush and fantasized, and other things, to about Josh. Josh did not just have a crush on January when he first saw her. He fell head over heals in love with her. But she was too young at the time and the taboo of being steps kept him from acting on what he wanted. He fantasized about being with January and no other woman would do, with the resulting of him being a virgin at the age of twenty-five. Josh went to work for January's father, as they had formed a great relationship that remained even after the divorce. But Josh has holed himself away, living in the desert and only coming into the office when required. It seems he just cannot stand even the remote possibility of seeing January and not being able to make her his.
But this New Years Eve afternoon they both end up in the office at the same time. Will they finally bare their feelings and desires to each other or will they once again go their separate ways? Let's just say that the New Years Eve fireworks not only happen outside but there are more than a few in the bedroom.

As a avid Frankie Fan, I always look forward to her new releases, this one even more so.
January and Josh's story is one on longing, love and reward. So many of us are scared to reach out and try for the things that we want and this story shows that taking risks can indeed pay off.
Josh and January are family in a way, as January's ex-step brother, he has known her for most of her life, and has loved her for just as long. This makes things a little difficult for Josh as they work at the same company, January's fathers company. Not wanting to disappoint the man the man that mean so much to him, Josh stays away, deciding to work from home, not to mention, he knows January doesn't feel the same about him.

A great little read that is very addictive.
This is the old question of should a relationship be stopped if you are step brother or step sister??? There is no blood between them???
Josh has been in love with January since the very first time he saw her. Only problem was many years ago their parents were getting married, so Josh did everything he could to stay out of her way. Even move out of the city and work from home so he didnt bump into her. But as he still worked for her dad that happened once in a while.
January has loved Josh since she met him, he was older and she just wanted to go everywhere with him but he was always busy. He just didnt like spending any time with her. Well its new years eve and she is going to pitch a business she wants to start and needs backing from her father so she is at the office.
Josh just wanted to be home, why his step father needed these papers signed today was beyond him but he was still at the office to make sure he got them. When he sees January he is taken aback by her beauty.

Frankie Love knows how to write stories about love of all kinds. This one is about unrequited love between two people that met because their parents were married.
Josh could not be in the same room with January because he loved her so much and January thought he hated her for that reason but she was absolutely wrong and that New Year's Eve the opportunity to show her how much she meant to him presented itself.
As luck would have it January's Dad came home to change for the NY party he was attending and discovered the two people he loved most in this world in a compromising position. Or at least January thought so but Josh knew he could explain how much he loved her and her dad would accept it, turns out he was right since he gave them January's mother's 6 carat diamond ring. Seems he was more than accepting of the relationship as in he was downright pleased!
This book was a short, sweet, sexy and hot AF book.

January had had feelings for Josh for awhile. She never acted on them before because he was her new step-brother now he works with her father. Josh works from home because he feels so much for January that he can't take being around her and not having her. So he basically isolated himself and only comes into the office when he needs to. One day they are both at the office at the same time and her father gets them together for some family time. When they end up alone things get heated and they end up admitting their feelings for each other. What will her father say about them being together? Can they make it work?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of January and Josh. They are ex-step siblings and have been in love with each other for years, but they don't know about the other's feelings. When January decides to go to her father in hopes' of getting funding for a business idea, her father wats Josh's opinion too. Josh is a virgin and lives in the desert because he couldn't handle seeing January every day in the office. When he does come into the city, he tried to avoid her at all costs. On New Year's Eve, she meets with her father and is thrilled to see Josh. Her father tells Josh to take her home after giving her the money she wanted and Josh decides it is time for him to confess his feelings to January. Now Josh hopes to have January return his love and build a future with him. I enjoyed this book, i think January was more mature than she got credit for being. Josh loved her and supported her and it made January realize he had feelings for her too. Good one.

Josh moved outside of the city because of January Jones he works for her fathers company so he would do anything for him but January is off limits hell hes stayed a virgin because of her now he has to pop into the office and he hopes that he doesn’t run into January but no she’s there in all of her beautiful glory. January hates going to the office she doesn’t like running into Josh he was her first crush and not to mention that he is her stepbrother she just wishes that he would look at her like a woman she’s not a little girl anymore but then the lift opens and guess who’s standing there Josh Winters. This is a fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

A sugary sweet over the top forbidden romance as both January and Josh had been secretly in love with each other for years. Meeting when they became stepsiblings, Josh fights his attraction to January, and leaves as soon as he can to resist temptation. I really appreciated the lack of ick factor, and liked the way he physically removed himself to avoid crossing the line. Showed his character, which was quite romantic.
January seemed a bit shallow, but she was equally honest and sweet. Her childlike personality was endearing to Josh, and that's what counted I guess.
Zero drama, which worked in this storyline. Heated scenes between this inexperienced but not innocent couple that were steamy but oddly sweet at the same time.

January has always looked up to her stepbrother Josh, well ex-stepbrother. Too bad he can't stand her, can't bear to be around her really. From the moment she laid eyes on him when their parents married, she has wanted to belong to him. With his feelings clear, she has tried to avoid him. Josh has wanted his stepsister from the moment they met but it can never be. To avoid running into her, he moved out of the city into the desert. When he comes to the office to drop off some papers, he runs into the one person he wanted to avoid. How can they go on like this? Talk about sweet and hot with all the piercing disappointment of unrequited love! This one is a quick and dirty read, I loved how they finally confessed their feelings. What a way to ring in the new year!

Hot Hot Hot! I loved this latest book by Frankie Love. Its book 2 in the Kisses at Midnight Series. January has loved her now ex-stepbrother, Josh since the day they met. It hurts knowing he can't stand her and avoids her when he comes into the city. Josh moved to the desert to get away from January but not because he hates her. Josh is in love with January but he knows she is off limits and he thinks she can't stand him. If January can't have Josh, she hopes to get funding from her father for her Unrequited Love Lingerie line she created. What happens when Josh learns he is the inspiration behind her lingerie line? Great read!

January and Josh used to be step siblings but both have always felt more for the other. After believing both didn’t like the other they avoid each other as much as possible until New Year’s Eve when they both end up at January”s dad’s office. This book was great! Frankie does an excellent job with quick and dirty books. Both characters were virgins. If you want to read January’s dad’s book then check out Hope Ford. You won’t be disappointed in any of this series. I highly recommend this book. The epilogues were really good also.

This is a great fun if very steamy read
Josh and January where instantly attracted to one another when they met years earlier but both kept it a secret because after all they where step brother and sister and it was taboo. Josh even went so far as to basically lock himself into his home so he wouldn't run into one another When they meet again the attraction is still there in fact it is even more powerful and the thing is they are no longer step siblings Can they have a relationship and will it threaten Josh's job after all he works for January's father Will they finally get a HEA You need to read to see

A really sweet romance that will have you pulled into the story from the first page right up till the last....this is a fantastic new yeras romance..

I really loved this story. The characters were awesome and true to themselves and their feelings.
Josh has been in love with January since he met her. She is his ex-stepsister and off-limits. He sees her on New Years Eve and he decides it's time to make January his. He will be her first and she will be his last.
This was a very enjoyable read. Loved how January and Josh confessed to their feelings for each other. Loved the happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book.

Meet January and Josh, they used to be step siblings. Their parents have divorced but they still see one another more then they would like since they both work for January's father. Neither one is aware of the feelings the other is harbouring for the other until New Year's Eve. All Josh has to do is drive January home after a meeting with her father. Then it's back out to the desert to his escape home. Bringing in the new year is about to change everything. What a quick, steamy and sweet story. Enjoy!
