Emily Ian is my soon-to-be former boss. A real gentleman, fifteen years my senior, and completely and utterly out of my reach. There's no way he'd be interested in little old me, right? It's a good thing I've resigned and am leaving this job, and my unrequited passion behind forever.
But when we flirt at the office Christmas party marking my departure, I can't help but wonder 'what if'. Is it just a fling; a fantasy; a little taste that will make every future relationship pale in comparison? Or is this something real?
Ian I've got a couple of hours before Emily will walk out of my life forever. As her superior, my obsession for her has been inappropriate, to say the least. But every time I look at her shapely curves, I can't help but fantasise about everything I cannot have.
But I'm determined to behave myself and let the moment slip away. Until someone else makes a pass at her, and my protective instincts kick in with a vengeance. Emily and I share an intimate moment and the floodgates of my desire open wide. It's too late to take it all back.
Tonight can only end one way: with me making her mine forever.

Cute and best of these age gap novellas by Ms. Moone. Story is straightforward and more dialogue, which I prefer. If you’re going to pick one of these novellas, read this one.
Book Review: Mistletoe: A Steamy Curvy Younger Woman Instalove Romance Author: L. Moone My Rating: 4 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy Payne- Book Nook Nuts
REVIEW I enjoyed this short holiday story. Emily has worked at the same job for a bit and her dreams always include her boss Ian. Of course, Ian is older and considering he is her boss she knows everything is just in her dreams. Or are they?
Ian is shocked to learn the female he adores from afar is leaving her position. At least he will see her one last time at the company Christmas party...
From mistletoe to the boss's office Emily may just get all she has ever dreamed of. Quick, spicy read...

Another delightful story to get your heart rate up from L. Moone!! Emily is a curvy girl that has been crushing on her boss, Ian, and thinks he'd never be interested in someone like her. Little does she know that Ian has been hiding his feelings for her since his divorce a year ago. Everything becomes painfully clear after Emily gives her notice and will possibly walk out of his life for good. They say what happens at the Christmas party stays at the Christmas party but the Mistletoe hanging in the right place begs to differ. Will Emily and Ian come clean with their feelings after a steamy fantasy comes to life??? A beautiful short story with older boss and an insecure curvy woman!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Looking forward to more from L. Moone.
Ian and Emily both have strong feelings for one another. Life is too short to keep these stories hidden. Lauren, Emily's BFF suggests that Emily come clean before she leaves the company. Her last day, is the day of the company Christmas Party and this is her final chance to talk with him. Can she confess her love and affection? Read this emotional novella and find out what happens to our loving couple. Great start to a wonderful series. Don't forget to subscribe to her newsletter for updates and free ebooks.
I love the way this author writes. The original copy of this book glitched, and left off the ending. So not nice. So this review is for the book in its entirety, thanks to this author sending those of us who already purchased this story, the sweetly perfect ending of this book. It completed the story, to the perfect naughtily ever after ending that I enjoy so much.
Emily was a beautiful curvy young woman.. she was Ian’s assistant. That’s where the problem lies. He’s her boss, he is older than her. Emily has no issue with either of these situations. Ian feels as though he can’t, until someone else makes a play for .emily. All bets are off. I enjoyed this book, it was hot and sexy and a quick read. I would definitely recommend.
DNF @ 37% I tried but I just couldn't. I didn't like the characters and the writing was weird. And there were so many exclamation points, it felt like every 5th sentence ended with one.
'These young girls in the office are going to be the death of me.' This was the thought the main guy had, and it sounded a little creepy. Also, I like my heroes (especially in novellas) obsessed with the heroine and not thinking about other girls.
I found this book for free on Amazon via Freebooksy When I bought it in 2019, it wasn't part of a series, and it's now called Christmas with my Boss. Office holiday romance between a boss and his underling. A nice romance, except the h runs away 4 times and that was a bit much in such a small story. End is a bit cheesy but nicely done. It also, somewhat, introduces you to the h for book#1 of the series.
I thought it was interesting right from the start, a couple in 💘 but not sure what to do about it. One surprises the other with a decision to leave the company. They both have fallen for each other hard but what to do. Than comes a Christmas party and a lot happens there. 👍 Christmas read
I like the character and the plot but it all happened so fast and just felt too disconnected for me. She was there, then quitting, then the party, the hookup, the leaving, the coming back... All in a page or two or seemed. Just didn't have time to feel invested or believe it. But if it were a full length novel I would have enjoyed it much more I'm sure
This is a quick, super spicy read. Ian and Emily have known each other for a bit and when the sparks start flying it's instant FIRE! I enjoyed their story and the way they click. It's a great escape.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
what a great intro to a new series from one of my fav authors!! I like that each book will deal with one of the girls from the coffee club group as they find their way in life and find their true love. I cant wait to read more about each of the girls.
It was short a d sweet but still managed to get a good story in. Both of the people were angsty in a good way. I would have preferred a bit more time to go by for the epilogue but it’s all good
Emily just gave notice to her secret lust and boss Ian. Ian has wanted her for so long. But held back because of work relations until the Christmas party. I loved this short story, with engaging characters and sexy scenes.
The cover is perfection. I love seeing a womanly figure I can relate to. The back and forth, questioning their feelings, between Emily and Ian was classic. They got it together in the end, though.
I'm not a fan of novellas, so my review might be a little bias. I really love how the FMC was a plus sized girl and how the story incorporates Christmas, but that’s about it. When I’m reading, I need more of a story. More twists and turns. This author is decent though.
