Just the absolute best story. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!

Sage is a bear shift that has been around for many years among humans, and works at one of the most reputable airlines at the moment, as flight attendant.
Her beauty draws the attention of men, but she knows that relating to humans cannot work. Humans live very little (and about this type of relationship she had a lot of experience seeing how her own father dealt with human women.)
On the flight to Madrid, she meets a passenger who is slow to disembark - which scares her when she sees him holding an phone. On the other hand, this man also caught her eye for being a shift.
Cruz Reyes was in Madrid for an unpleasant mission.
He had a very powerful weapon, a sword, which was being sought by a demon named Helios.
Helios had been banned and had been in hiding for a long time. Now that he had managed to break free, he would go after the sword, but also after his revenge, for Carina's death. And Reyes was his first target.
Finding a bear shift on a flight surprised Reyes, all the more when, from the smell, he knew she was his mate. Falling in love was easy, but now, Sage would be involved in his complicated life, just as she would be his collateral damage.
Helios needed to be stopped at any cost.

The book starts with a story from the distant past that leads to developments in the present. Cruz Reyes has made a sword that can kill demons and thereby kills Helios wife. From that moment Helios waits for his chance to do the same to Cruz.
Thousands of years later, Cruz has still not found the woman who is his mate. He was summoned by the coucil of seven to hand in the demon sword, and then he sees Sage, a flight attendant on the plane in which he is sitting. He knows that he is endangering Sage by interacting with her. Is it not from the corner of the demon who wants revenge, then because his father will not accept her and will do everything to get rid of her.
The story itself has many ingredients that make a book exciting and romantic. Personally, I had a long wait for the lead-up to the story of Sage and Cruz. As a reader you are left in the dark about what is happening and that gives the reader the space to fill in things until he is put in a different direction by the author.

Communication is key! Sage is a flight attendant, content with her life. Cruz is on an obligatory mission in which he has no confience or moral faith. They meet, have a connection. He believes they are mates. She is just enthralled. Cruz is notorious. He discovered the element used in a sword to slay demons. The Council of Seven are involved in this story. The fate of the Enchanaged and human world are involved in this story. Dedication, determination, intelligence, strategic planning, family loyalty, leadership, wisdom are all key elements in the determination of the outcome. Can Sage and Cruz represent all they should be and become? Can familial relationships sort themselves out? Totally riveting story. At many times, Cruz and Sage as awesome as they are, show a sad naievete in the reality of life and human nature. Promises to be an amazing continuation of the Council of Seven. Ironic that a fated set of mates survives an evil, bitter, twisted demon who mourns and seeks revenge for his lost mate. And what is going on with the Council that leaks are more than a few?
Some folks meet the family of their beloved and are embraced. Others get a more neutral reception, but at least the folks are standing up for their own, both in trying to protect their family members and in being loosely open to you.
I have personally not yet been poisoned like Sage, but I did have a mother try to lose me in an avalanche-twice. Family ties that bind and strangle are no fun if you find yourself at the wrong end of the rope.
Love is grand, sorta, while it lasts- but your children are really forever- especially in a family accustomed to multiple wives.
Steamy, action packed KU read.

Jade is a stewardess on an airline, and she loves her job. When she sees a man doing something that looks suspicious, she tries to find out what he is up to, but loses him Cruz is on an assignment that he really doesnt agree with for his father - and he is fascinated by the beautiful bear shifter. When they run into each other at the hotel, sparks fly. But Cruz's father is a sheik and has plans for his son which do not include her. So he disappears with no explanation.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Bear's Desire by Juniper Hart is the opening salvo in her Revenge of the Bears series. I really enjoyed this read. It begins with a little background and tears into an awesome character driven story. The chemistry between Cruz and Sage jumps off the page. Between the Council of Seven, Helios and Jett you don't know which catastrophe is going to hit first. This quick read is packed with an emotional rollercoaster ride that will have you gasping, giggling and leave you smiling!

It was too bad that Ariel had her little girl alone without the father. At a bachelorette party she went out and took pictures of a mama bear and cubs, when Adrian saved her. But he didn't want to let her go again so he hired to photograph his mom's charity thing, he finally told her about his bear and that they were mates. But a friend of theirs Calvin found out what Adrian so he kidnapped Esther her daughter, Ariel had to tell Adrian that Esther was his daughter. So Adrian saved Esther and killed Calvin so he couldn't do anymore killing of animals for his wall. And they were finally were a family!!

Who would have thought I would meet my mate on a flight, not me. It’s not exactly the right time for either of us. Cruz is in the middle of a business issue with his sheik father. As I’m just a flight attendant flying high, and if that’s not enough Helios the demon is looking for me to exact his revenge. I want to just up and walk out like Cruz did to me first, but the baby growing inside me is making me think twice.

This was a highly dramatic and action packed book. The characters were so completely loveable (well, MOST of them at least). Hart's words were easy flowing and gave the characters true, raw emotions that enabled the reader to feel along wIth them through the roller-coaster of emotion of this turbulent fated relationship. It was fated, but was it fated for sucedd or failure? It is definately a must resd, and only the start of this wonderful series!

Can anything keep mates apart?
A fiery romance with lots of obstacles to overcome including demons and death ! The beginning is fairly predictable but the end will leave you with a lot of questions. If you have read and liked other stories surrounding " the council of seven " you will love this one. This story also explains some of the start of the council and its powerful leaders but it can easily be read as a stand alone if you have not become familiar with this " world "

The book took a bit to get into, but it went fast after. Loved Sage and Cruz. I wish she wrote more about what happened when Cruz passed the sword on to the council instead of saying it was going to happen and then nothing. Helios was another part that I was wondering what happened to. I'm assuming more of him will be in other books though. A few little mistakes, like calling Cruz Sage at one point, but other than that, the editing was good.

Phenomenal! A captivating and thrilling book in the “Revenge of the Bears” series and it will take you on a wild adventure! Full of intrigue, steam, action, suspense, danger, and twists and turns. The characters are strong … fated mates … chemistry that is intense and off the charts. This is an on the edge of your seat read and is definitely recommended.

The two main characters may be shifters but the story of more about finding that one person meant to be yours and fighting to keep them. Cruz lives under the shadow of his father. It leads to a life he doesn’t want but with no way out. But one brief meeting with Sage will lead to a chain of events that will change both of their lives. But there is danger by his father and a demon who wants to destroy Cruz. Expect some hotness when these two are together and danger around every corner.

It was a chance encounter that Sage and Cruz met. Sage was happy with her life as it was and had no idea what the future holds. Cruz was on a mission from his father and has many doubts. The story was interesting and engaging holding my attention with strong, defined characters. There was some hot, hot chemistry between these two!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.
The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

I really like the new addition to the enchanted world. Now the bears are getting their shot at finding their mates and helping the council with a problem that was thought to be solved. Chaz and Sage are wonderful characters and I loved their love story. I can't wait to see how the stories connect to one another. The twist in the story was a great surprise as well.

Another well written paranormal read. It will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The story is full of suspense, drama, twists and turns, and amazing chemistry between the characters. This is an intriguing new story from Juniper Hart. I love the story development and creativity in this well written story. Sage and Cruz are amazing together. She is perfectly happy with her life as a flight attendant when she meets Cruz. A romance develops, as well as a surprise, and things change. Great twist and turns in this story as well as action, danger and suspense.

Bear's Desire by Juniper Hart is an amazing story to read. This was an amazing story that I have read and loved. I can not get enough of these characters or the story. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about bear shifters and paranormal romances in their stories and that is 18+.

The twists just keep coming.
I really enjoyed Sage and Cruz's story. A little bit of enchantment. Some danger. Lots of passion top it off with a secret and it makes for a great story. Im interested to see what will happen next.

Cruz and Sage have a story with many ups and down with some unseen surprises. This is an exciting read. I like that not only is the story told from Cruz and Sage's POV but also from other's POV creating a story from all sides.

This was such a great read. Even though this is a spin-off from a previous series, it reads well as a standalone. It was fast paced and full of action. If you love shifters and a HEA then this is for you. I could not put it down.
