I'm giving this a 5 star although it feels weird to do that compared to some of the great masterpieces of literary fiction I've rated 4 stars earlier, but this book has really widened my musical taste more than I thought it would. I read a great review of it and decided I'd try and see for myself. I found some great songs and albums that had completely missed my radar, together with some of my already favorite songs, so this book is a real treasure trove for an open minded music fan. It's only one man's taste, but he knows his music. I wish there were more books in a series from other writers as well, as this could have been an ongoing thing with even more music to be discovered!
