Chronological Bible

I read the Bible each year and decided to try this version, as a chronological approach is what I used the first time I read the it. This has some commentary inserted each day to provide context and further develop understanding. I appreciate daily plans to read God’s Word each day. This one has a lot of notes that are hyperlinked (Kindle version) in the appendices. I think this is a good choice for one seeking to read scripture within a timeline approach.

I have read through the Bible several times, in different translations and formats. So far, this is my favorite of them all. I have always preferred the NLT, and I do like the Chronological format, since it tells all the events in the Bible as they happen. I really enjoy the extra commentary included with the Scripture readings. I look forward to reading it this year!

Definitely Using This Version Again Beginning In January

The NLT put into chronological order, and broken down into daily bites, as well as short summaries, made this my favorite book to read when reading through the Bible. I bought several copies for family and friends for gifts, and look forward to reading it through with them as well, next year.
