WOW, another great slavery story by Edwin Page

This was a great story by Edwin Page. It dealt with slavery and also kindness by others who believed in equality and Love. I wasn't expecting the story to have the twists and turns that it did. In the end the ultimate sacrifice of one's life was given in order to safe another. Another one of Edwin Page's books that I stayed up all night to finish.

A lot in A little

I have never read A book quite like this one. It is so mysterious yet true. I Love that Bias was not part of the old couples makeup. I also love That Oona got to see and feel real love. This is A Wonderful must read book. I will read everything that is written.

Good Reading. Sad Ending!

I'm disappointed in how the Story Ended!! It seems like the writer had Oona destined to die no matter what path she would have taken. She Never had a Chance of making it to Freedom or Living a Better Life on Earth!

Sad and touching

Sad story from slavery times when the color of your skin meant suffering. Well written and easy to follow. I enjoyed this book and will read others from author.

Tear Jerker

I love how cut-throat this story was. There was no sugar coating or fairy tale endings when describing those who hate
