A personal portrayal of the one who launched the path followed by billions over the course of two millennia, this book is a biography of Jesus that also contains reflections on theology, discipleship and prayer.
Born in Australia, Gerald O’Collins received his PhD at Cambridge University in 1968. From 1973 to 2006 he taught at the Gregorian University (Rome), where he was also dean of the theology faculty (1985–91). He is now a research professor in theology at St Mary’s University College in Twickenham.
Quite thought-provoking book. I enjoyed reading it, even if I can't always agree with some of the points made. This book focused a lot on Jesus as shown in the Gospels of Mark and John.
A great book, that does not require you to have a Masters or higher in Theology to understand!O'Collins presents the information for faith in good simple terms that are easily understood.
