Very good reading

I really enjoyed this box set. Each story was different with different challenges for each couple. Also I loved the families staying together and fighting both for and against each other. Wonderful love and action stories.

Starting In A Cave & Ending In Bubble

These books tells the quite entertaining stories of Dragons finding their Fated Mates while on a journey to free others of their kind from imprisonment. Along the way they have to continually contend with an obsessed, maybe even slightly deranged Alpha, intent on the annihilation of all dragons. The dragons, meanwhile, are focused on their mates and their quest while trying to avoid a war with said Alpha & his pack.
Sometimes quite funny, sometimes tense, but all in all, quite an enjoyable read.

This box set is absolutely a must have. As always well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. If you enjoy romances that offer plenty of sizzling heat, dirty naughtiness and a taboo edge you can not go wrong with this very entertaining and enjoyable collection.

I enjoyed almost all of the books in this series. I liked how they had a different romance theme for each book. My favorite were the first and second book. I loved how the whole story started and ended pretty good. I just didn't care for how it felt a little repetitive with how the men didn't want to hurt the love of their life but they did it anyway. Except for Blaine. He seemed the smartest of them all.

I have throughly enjoyed reading every book in this series. Each was unique in it's own way. The obstacles each dragon had to face to win their mates and protect each other. Don't want to say to much as it would take some of mystery out of the books. Read and enjoy.

Blaine 4 stars

Great start to a new dragon shifter series about a group of dragons who were cursed into stasis by werewolves. It required the blood of one of their mates to free them.

Gail has always felt a connection to a series of caves near her hometown. The unusual drawings contained within were the reason she got her Ph.D. in Archeology. She has returned home to continue her research into the caves. When she cuts herself on a sharp rock she does not realize she has changed her future, or maybe just finally found her home.

Blaine is awakened after 200 years. The smell of his mate is in the air of the cave where he and brothers have been imprisoned. Can he figure out how to win his human mate and keep her safe?

Nathanial 4 stars

Nathanial Snow is one of the dragons that were trapped in a spell for over 200 years. Now that they have been released they must find allies to help them in their fight with the wolves that caused their entrapment. The dragons are sure that more groups are being magically held somewhere, but where?

Sarah Jensen is eerily like that woman that Nathanial loved 200 years ago. A member of the same family, Sarah donated the house that Maria once lived in to the Historical Society and lives in a small apartment above it. When a strange man shows up and saves her from falling down a flight of stairs, she is not sure why she is immediately infatuated with him. He seems to be just as smitten with her, at least until he suddenly runs out.

Nathanial cannot believe that Sarah is his mate. He had known that Maria was not, even though he didn't tell his brothers that at the time. He had tried to force the mating bond to form with her, but it never had. He knew now what the bond felt like and Sarah was his for sure. Now all he had to do was convince a human woman that he was her mate, and a dragon to boot. On top of that he had to protect her from the wolves and hope that she could help them solve the riddle about where other dragons were trapped.

Bennet 4 stars

Bennet is a dragon shifter and Mary is a wolf shifter. These two should not be fated for each other, right? Wrong. They both knew as soon as they saw each other that they were destined mates. So why is Mary trying so hard to deny it? She has some good reasons. Her family is cray cray, especially her father who wants her to mate with a wolf from another pack in order to get some backup against the dragons. He has kept her a virtual prisoner for most of her life and she just got away from him. If he finds out she is not only staying with the dragons he hates but in love with one, he will not take it well at all. As in he will try to kill Bennet and she really does not want that to happen. What's a girl to do?

I liked this book. Mary is strong and will do anything to stay out of her father's clutches, anything except sacrifice Bennet. I thought there was a little too much talking about everlasting devotion, yada, yada, but that is just me.

Ricktor 4 stars

I think we knew where this one was going to start. The air dragons finally have what they need to free the water dragons and when they go to break the enchantment Ricktor is stunned to find that he knows them. One of them is his mate. The dragon that he thought was dead. He is thrilled, and PO’d when he finds out that her clan faked her death and kept her locked up to try to break their bonding. He is in a murderous mood. Between the treacherous water dragons and the crazy, determined wolves his mate is not safe. It is his job to protect her and he is going to kill everyone that threatens her.

Marina can’t be it when she opens her eyes and looks into the face of her long, lost mate. She had known he was in trouble and finally convinced her clan that she had to go and find out what was wrong. They had ended up enchanted and locked away for over 200 years. Everything had changed, except for her feelings for Ricktor. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to see her the way he used to, as a wild, strong female who was meant to be his partner. He is determined to protect her, even if it means sending her away until he has vanquished all their enemies. Fat chance.

Trevor 4 stars

In this book we get Trevor's story. Trevor has always been the dragon that we heard about the least. He was the one picked to assimilate the other dragon groups into the modern world. We find out that he is an artist and this will lead him to his mate, Lauren. He is immediately aware that Lauren is a witch, but she has no idea. Unfortunately, his enemies find her too and they just happen to need a witch to once again enchant the dragons to sleep. He is determined to allow her to figure out her powers on her own before he tells her how he feels about her and reveals that she is living with a wolf shifter and a bunch of dragons. If only he had time to wait for that to happen...

I have read all of these books individually so here are my reviews below
BLAINE
This is the first book in a new series about dragon brothers and the mates that they will find. This first book is Blaine and Gail's story. Gail has always loved the caves above Port Jameson in fact her love of them as a child led to her career as a anthropologist. Now she has received grant money and she is hoping that will allow her to work on the caves and the art on the walls. While studying them she accidentally scrapes her hand on the wall causing herself to bleed shortly after she leaves to head home What she doesn't know is that her blood has released Dragon brothers trapped in the caves by a curse from werewolves. Whee Blaine awakens he immediately smells the blood of his mate he follows her to the pub where she works as a bartender where he discovers one of her clients wants to get a little too close so he will have to drive him away meanwhile the werewolves are also circling will he be able to keep her safe from all that mean her harm and will he be able to prove his love, you will have to read to see
NATHANIEL
This is the second book in the Dragon Elemental series and it is Nathaniel's story. He has finally broken free from the spell that entrapped him and his brothers and has been sent to the historical society to try to get answers about how it happened There he meets Sarah when she falls into his arms after tripping He realise straight away she is his mate but he is confused by the fact that she is the spitting image of his previous love Maria. Can she help him solve his and his brothers past and how the wolves trapped such powerful dragons and can he keep her safe when the wolves attack her You will have to read to see
BENNET
This is the third book in this series and like the previous two there will be plenty of angst and drama before our fated mates admit that they are meant to be together. Bennet is a dragon shifter and he has met his fated mate only problem is that Mary is a wolf shifter and their two clans are sworn enemies. Now Mary's family is trying to force an arranged marriage to another wolf shifter Will Bennet be able to save her will she allow him to put himself at risk or will she sacrifice herself to keep him safe and will they ever get a happy ending. You will have to read to see. This is another well written book that flows well as have all the books ion this series While you don't have to read the previous two books I would recommend them
RICKTOR
Finally we get Ricktor story he is the dragon who has lost his mate Marina was a sea dragon but she has disappeared and his brothers have told him that she is dead. So when they find the moonstone that will release the water dragons (Marina was one) he volunteers to do it after all it could be dangerous and his newly mated brothers shouldn't risk been killed as he knew how it felt as a mate with a dead partner and he was also a little jealous and no longer wanted to be around his happy brothers. Imagine his surprise when he releases the door and finds the water dragons stirring and there in the corner is his mate Marina Her family hadn't approved of her mating with a fire dragon and had kept her prisoner then she became involved in the trap that contained all the water dragons now they will have to fight for their future as a couple will her family let her be with a fire dragon this time or will they try to tear her away again. You will have to read to see
TREVOR
This series is fast becoming a favourite for me while each book is a stand alone about a separate couple there is an underlying story line so I would recommend reading them all in order to get the bet from this wonderful series.
The feud between the dragons and the wolves is hotting up and Lauren She is the daughter of the alpha wolves but she is also descended fro a line of witches its just to bad that they are witches with no power She is staying with the dragons in a effort to keep safe from her father and his pack as they have mistreated her Trevor is a dragon shifter and he knew straight away she was a witch as he could see the glow about her he also knows she is his mate When danger threatens them all they will have to work together if they are to survive and in the process Lauren may find that she isn't a witch without powers at all she just needed her mate to activate them.

This is the perfect way to introduce yourself to Sarah's work or a way to keep this entire series together

This series is a fantastic venture into danger, romance and intrigue. Sarah J. Stone really knows how to capture her audience and keep them hanging onto every word. I have fallen in love with the Dragons and their fight against the wolves to live free lives. I was ensnared from page one till the last page of this series. Well worth reading.
Book 1 - Blaine
Gail has loved going to the caves since her father first took her there when she was a little girl. She spilt her blood there which broke a curse which had Blaine and his brothers imprisoned for over two hundred years. The blood of one of their mates would break the chains that kept them prisoners.
Blaine recognises that Gail is his mate and he goes to claim her. The wolves’ ancestors are still in the town and they kidnapped Gail to use as bait to lure the dragons to their home so they can imprison them again. The daughter of the wolves Mary lured the wolves away before the fight began. She is now hiding in the dragons’ home. Mary tells the dragons that there are other dragons still locked in caves or prisons that will require them to be released with magic.

Book 2 - Nathaniel
Nathaniel has been charged with the duty to go to the historical society to research a riddle that the wolves taught to their children after the dragons had been imprisoned for over two hundred years. Maria was his long lost love and it is her ancestral home where the historical society is located. When Nathaniel sees Sarah, he knows that she is his mate and he will stop at nothing to ensure that she remains safe. Sarah is an historian who Gail is sure that can figure out the locations of the dragons that have been forced into a prison with no way of getting out of without help. Todd is a wolf shifter and a friend of Gail and Sarah helps them with the spell that needs to be said once they are in the place where the dragons are held.
Sarah works out where the seven sisters is located and with the help of Mary, Todd's sister, they are able to release the fire dragons. Now they need to release the water dragons and find the fire dragons’ sister Grace.

Book 3 - Bennet
Once again Sarah has written another great book. The series continues where Mary and Bennet finally work out what was keeping Mary from admitting what kept her from admitting that she was his true mate. Her father refuses to let her take the path that she chooses for herself. They need the moonstone that her father always has on his person to free the water dragons. They come up with a plan to take it from him, but Bennet is captured and Mary’s father uses him as bait to get her back so he can force the mating ritual with the wolf he has chosen for her. Todd agrees to help his sister with her plan. Bennet is released to save Mary and they are finally together again.

Book 4 - Ricktor
Ricktor sets out to awaken the water dragons that were locked away by the witches spell for two hundred years. Once the spell was nullified, Ricktor went in and discovers his mate is in the cave and had been caught up in the entombment with her clan.
Marina wakes in Ricktor’s arms. She has a battle ahead to stop her mate from killing her kind for what they did to try to separate them.
The wolves kidnap Marina and plan to lock them all away again. But Mary sets her free along with Lauren Black who is a witch but has no idea of this fact. They are all rescued and Trevor claims Lauren, but she has no idea of this.

Book 5 – Trevor
Trevor finally claims his mate Lauren after she discovers the truth behind her heritage and who the wolves and the dragons are.
After their mating, Trevor and Lauren go to the Rose Ridge cottage to the source of an ancient power for Lauren to draw on. They meet up with Christine who guides Lauren on her magical journey. After weeks of study, Lauren is ready to protect her new family.
The wolves have to accept peace, or will they?

When she was small Gail had been taken to a nearby cave by her father and shown the beautiful drawings on its walls she had felt a connection to it. Her fascination for the cave had led her to go the college and study anthropology. Now armed with her PhD she has managed to get a grant to study them meaning weather permitting she spends her days in the cave studying and recording the drawings then in the evening tends bar at the one owned by her father's friend who had become almost a surrogate father to her since his death. While looking at a newly uncovered area she leans close and cuts her hand on a rock so treating it as well as she could with what she has in her backpack then heads home to sort it out before her shift at the bar unaware that a man has followed her out of the cave and is watching her go. Blaine awakens knowing that the curse on he and his brother has been broken by the blood of one of their mate and scenting the air realizes she is his.
Nathaniel
Dragon shifter Nathaniel Snow had loved Maria Jensen but around the time they had been imprisoned she had been murdered. Her home is now the Historical Society and he is going there to meet Sarah Jensen a descended from her family line and who reportedly looks like Maria. When he sees her his emotion blaze to life like they had never done for Maria so instead of talking to her about the riddle of the other dragon shifters he leaves abruptly. Sarah is shocked by her reaction to the handsome stranger and hopes he will come back to see her.
Bennet
When wolf shifter Mary arrived at the Dragon's home after freeing his brother's mate Gail and getting her to safety Bennet realized she was his mate. She resists all his efforts to get closer to her but he is sure she feels the pull of the mate bond too. He knows he must keep trying if he is to have a full and happy life. Mary is aware of how stubborn and how strong her father's hatred of the dragon is plus he has indoctrinated the pack with the same feelings so she she realizes that acknowledging her bond to Bennet will paint a target on him for her father to use against her. She resist in the hope of saving him but Bennet will not give up until he changes her mind.
Ricktor
The Air Dragons recovered the moonstone and find the cave where the Water Dragons are sleeping. Ricktor goes in first through the underwater tunnel rather than risk the brother who have mates. Once clear of the tunnel he calls for the other to come through so they can use the Moonstone to free them. Moving away the stone that blocks the entrance to the cave they enter and Ricktor smells blood that has the scent of his mate and looking in the corner spot a slim female figure surrounded by dried blood. As the spell is broken she starts to stir and he realizes that his strong wiled mate was not dead but had been hidden from him.
Trevor
Dragon shifter Trevor enters the store to buy some art supplies and sees a woman behind the counter that he does not recognize. Lauren explains she has bought the shop from her uncle and Trevor realizes she is a witch and his mate but he soon also realizes that she is unaware that she is a witch or has any power while to Trevor she seems to glow with it. As he tries to go slow but then she and some other mates are kidnapped by the wolves bet manage to escape as the dragons come to rescue them. They all return to the dragons home including Lauren who they feel will be safer from the wolves there.

What a great box set this was. Sizzling dragon shifters woken from their 200-year sleep. Sexy dragon shifters. Strong women who don't run at the sight of a man turning into a dragon. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Blaine-Freedom
This story was kind of fast paced in the writing. The characters were intense from the first meeting and the story rapidly evolves.

Think about being imprisoned for 100 years and not knowing what or who could free you from this prison.

Gail has always been drawn to the caves that her grandfather shown her as a child and nothing has changed since she became an adult. In fact she received her PHD in anthropology because of her fascination with the past.

Seriously, this might have been the best love story in the entire collection.

Nathaniel-Real Deal

Waking up to a world different than when you were imprisoned is something of an adjustment this dragon will have to make.

Nathaniel story was at time heart wrenching at times unexpectedly intense.

Trevor-Hocus Pocus

Never underestimate the power of a witch.

Lauren starts out as a stubborn but someone in denial about what she is seeing or hearing so it kinda makes it hard to believe in her character.

Trevor on the other hand knows of his dual nature but suppresses it to appear more human. He will have to learn a lesson in the future.

These characters brought something stronger to this book that makes you enjoy it more. The female lead shows off her strength and the male will have to accept all or none her so that she can thrive.


Ricktor-Water and Fire

Another good book in the Dragon Element series.

Ricktor is such closed off fierce dragon that none understand the depths of his pain. He is closest to his animal side than the others. It makes him a fierce dragon fighter.

Marina is a fierce water dragon willing to fight to protect her mate. Little does she understands the fight she will have to face is going to be against those that she loves.

Glad to read about Ricktor he is so stubborn and it plays out loud beautifully in this book.


Bennet-Mixed Bag

Bennet is dragon that has been released from captivity along with his brothers. A war is brewing with the wolves.

Mary is a wolf that wants a life of her own but the family is determine to dictate who she would mate. In their eyes she needed to be taken care of and that she was not smart enough to have an opinion on her life.

I believe each book is a standalone but there is a backstory that will continue in each book. Tune in to follow this clan.

Nathaniel:

I was shattered when the wolves killed my woman, Maria, a hundred years ago. Sarah is my second chance at love and I’m not about to let her go. I’ve waited for her for more than a century. Really enjoyed this one. Love Sarah and Nathaniel's characters, connection, and chemistry. Bring on the third book.

Bennet:

He thought she was dead, but fate has given them a second chance. I absolutely loved Ricktor and Marina's story! What they went through, before and after being put to sleep. Do not underestimate a female in love.

Trevor:

This is the last book in the Dragon Elements Series. Lauren isn’t aware of the power she possesses as a witch. She makes Trevor's inner dragon lose control to no extent. She is his destined mate. All loose ends were tied up nicely. Only thing I wished is that there would've been an epilogue.

A good dragon shifter box set

These are the first books I have read by Sarah J. Stone so I was not sure if I would like them or not, as you just never know when you read a "new to you" author. I liked the fact that it was a box set of the 5 books so that I could read the entire series since characters overlap and the underlying story-line is woven in each of the books as it progresses.
These books are about a group of dragon shifters who were cursed by werewolves a long time ago and put into but to "sleep" in a prison in a cave. In the first book a young anthropologist, Gail, injures herself while she is exploring the cave. She spills blood which awakens the 5 dragons of the Dragons of the Air group in modern times. But in order to be set free they must find their mates and also fight against the werewolves to ensure they are not put back into their "sleep" state again.
Each book centers around one dragon and the story of him finding his mate. Each story also progresses the story of the fight between the dragons and the werewolves. There is adventure, suspense, drama, action, romance, alpha males protecting their mate and some sexy times.
I found the series easy to read and enjoyable overall. I thought some things were a bit disappointing including the finale at the end of the last book. To me it did not tie up the battle between the dragons and the werewolves in a satisfying way.

This is wonderful box set of five dragon stories that I totally enjoyed reading and reviewing. This set allowed me to catch up on the ones I missed in this series. The five dragons find their mates and each dragon have a personal challenge to overcome until the final battle against the werewolves with the support of their mates. This series starts with Blaine and ends with Trevor. In Blaine: Gail who was always fascinated by the drawings on a cave near her hometown and while in the cave studying the drawings she cute her hand on a sharp stone. Her hand bleeds on the cave floor and lifts a curse awakening the dragons. The scent of the blood calls to Blaine who realizes Gail is his mate. Gail now has five dragons ( Blaine, Nathaniel, Bennet, Ricktor, and Trevor) who have been asleep for 100 years that she has to teach about living in this time, and being a dragon mate for Blaine. In Nathaniel: Nathaniel meets Sarah at the Historical Society building and she literally falls in his arms tripping on the stairs. At once his dragon claims her as his mate but because Sarah looks like his dead lost love Maria, Nathaniel is full of guilt. He struggles inside between what his dragon wants and what his human side wants. With the help of his friends and them working together to solve a riddle, can they find happiness? This is a example of just two of the wonderful stories in this set. ARC

I love when each book is a new character, but still ties into the previous story whether it is just characters we were introduced to or if the plot continues through a series of stories with changing main characters. I love getting to met a slew of characters and then getting a chance to see through their eyes in later books. This series follows a brotherhood of men as they wake up two centuries later into a whole new world and each find their mate, the love of their lives. This all happens while facing adversity of the local towns' people that ends up in a much larger conflict that prevails through the entire series. We get to see 5 unique couple form over the course of this box set and each with their own unique journey to a HEA. I liked the diversity of the couples' species involved in the story; the women were a mix of humans, a wolf, a dragon, and a witch. Other types of dragons were introduced midway in the series offering the potential to expand the world past just the air dragons.

Excellent Series

I enjoyed this series so much!!! Great story writing !!! The dragons and their mates are great characters!!! Definitely a must read!!!
