Azure Is Awesome
I have been working in Azure for about 3 years now, and I love it.
This book is an excellent companion to learning and optimizing your use of Microsoft Azure.
I have always found Microsoft Azure a superior product to Amazon Web Services, and this book gives you a lot of information on why - perhaps you too will feel the same after reading it!

Very informative book though it is already out of date. 🤣
This is a better way to learn azure than simply jumping in and using it. A little more detail on establishing your own website using azure would have been helpful. It isn't something that can't be figure it out though.

I work in IT and the cloud is all the rage now. My agency is a Microsoft shop so I thought I would like to learn a little more about Azure. I've always found the "For Dummies" books to be good intros. However, a friend of mine who is an Active Directory engineer warned me not to rely on books because Azure changes so quickly.
So I won't say reading the book was a waste of time, but if I had to do it again, I would probably skip it. The problem I have is that so many people like watching videos for training and I'm just too old school for that.

As an IT recruiter reading this, not all of it made of sense to me. However, I loved how the author added humour and simplified the subject in places.
Genuinely learnt a lot though, so I'll feel more confident having a conversation with an Infrastructure engineer now.

DNF - I thought this would be a great introduction to MS Azure but I actually found it not technical enough for what I needed.

I initially thought this book might be too theoretical, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s definitely a practical and beginner-friendly introduction to the Microsoft Azure environment, offering step-by-step guides.
Of course, tech books tend to become outdated quickly, but I was still able to navigate Azure with minimal hiccups using this book. And for anything that seemed out of date, I could just look it up online.
The author also provides helpful resources for learning updated Azure content, which you can consult alongside the book for a more enriched experience. While a few sites didn’t load, most of them worked just fine.
I can’t wait to experiment more with Arc; it really piqued my interest!
