I'm hoping for a one-night stand, at least, but Conan is a battle-hardened bastard with a cold heart, and maybe I should just accept that. Just when I think Ana calin's magnificent beast series can't get any hotter it got hot as hell hotter!!! Conan is one hot dangerously sexy beastie and the things this werewolve does left me howling! Because once you go wolf, theirs no going back to just regular guys! The chemistry between Conan and Janine was so hot,I'm still sweating!! I love janine she's a strong,aggressive smart chic who isn't afraid of the big bad wolf and when he tries to keep her at arm's length,he soon finds out that he's not dealing with just any women and try as he might to keep from imprinting with this passionate sexy sassy woman, fate and wanting will bring them together with a passion that makes the walls around them crumble.Ana has stepped up her game and this new entry in this series is hot,lusty and full of hot sexy scenes that all true lovers of women's erotica will enjoy!! I sat down to read This and finished it within one night!! I love a whole novel,but sometimes the best reads are novella's just the right amount of hot sinful pages! I have never read Ana Calin - Holy Cow! Love this series! I like how Ana Calin gave Conan's POV and then gave Janine's POV, it made for an interesting read and I cannot wait for the next book to come out. Good character development throughout this series! No spoilers here, but if you enjoy a little mystery with a lot of great hot action between the main characters than this one is for you!

I really like a lot of Ana Calin’s books, but this series, as a whole, did not do it for me. And of the 3 books in this series, so far, this book was my least favorite. I found the female MC, Janine, to be irritating. Which is odd considering that I liked her in the first two books. Albeit she wasn’t in them too much.

Very interesting!

This one is very interesting. All the little things that you learn in this story keep you wanting more.
I liked that it wasn't an instant love with these two. They both have had hard lives and for them to find love is going to take more effort.
It will be fun to see what happens next.

With a subtle twist


This new series written by Author Ana Calin, is superbly put together. Paranormal romance at it's best, even with the intimate detailed love scenes (18+) plus the cleverly designed plot full of action, adventure and a calculated puzzle that needs to be understood as the pieces are put together.
We also understand that a fated couple who wield an unknown power (that is winding itself into the lives of those around them,) can have either a wonderful result from what's developed or could find themselves fearing this unknown power that is deeply integrating itself nto the lives of Conan and Janine.
You will find yourself absolutely drawn into the world of "Darkwood Falls"as the character's are pulled into the web and intriguing power of the genes the human women within the town posess.
Hoping the characters who are affected by the forces working within the town are kept safe, even though they know the supernatural creatures who have created a war in this section of heaven are using everything within their arsenal to twist this amazing power into a weapon to be used against the world.
It's known the evil force of serpents will return to take what they believe is rightfully theirs, little do they know how deeply these powers have developed within the women and nature around the area.
Conan and Janine have given this storyline an added level of safety that they meticulously crafted creating a huge safety net over their small community knowing their enemies will find a way to create another upheaval.
The family who is central to the protection and safety of Darkwood realise the power is connected to the fated mates bond, giving the couples love as a power to wield while they wait for the next attempt of a takeover by evil
This really is a well thought out and brilliantly created series one I highly recommend to anyone who loves the world of the paranormal to read immediately.. Three book's in and I still cannot get enough of this mind blowing series

We are back in the third installment of the Fated Females and the werewolves of Darkwood Falls. Janine is a very powerful businesswoman who is full of grace, charm and beauty. She is also a Fated Female in need of protection. She has gathered the attention of a very powerful wolf from Europe. Her bodyguard is one of the werewolf brothers of the Alpha, Nero. His name is Conan and he is HUGE~ She has to accept him whether she wants him or not! He has in his possession a VERY powerful gift called the Reaper’s secret weapon, which can only be given or earned. Janine decides to accept the invitation to the wolf’s lair. She is VERY attracted to Conan but he does not want a fated mate! He does everything to avoid becoming entangled with a female. Once they reach their destination, things turn horribly wrong! The powerful wolf, Lorenzo exposes a secret about Janine no one knew about and it is powerful! Also, it will force Conan to make a decision! What will happen? Who will Janine end up with? Can they escape? Who will help them? What does the power both of them hold mean to themselves and others? The third installment is a very powerful ally for those living in Darkwood Falls. At this moment, it may not be useful against the Serpents, but some use will be made in the final war~ I received this via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review…this is the BEST book in the series thus far!

Best one yet! I cannot begin to express all of the feelings I experienced with this book. The town is filled with women that have the potential to be Fated Mates. There are restrictions on the women not dating outside of the town. Janine has been taking advantage of her traveling for work to get around that. Since the serpents were the ones to make that demand and the Wolf brothers have been actively protecting the women and removing the serpents, life is getting better. However, there is still a risk and Conan Wolf is chosen to be Janine's bodyguard. Conan is a battle scarred warrior that doesn't want to imprint on anyone. It shows in his demeanor and actions. Janine is invited to Italy by the powerful Alpha, Lorenzo, and she accepts. Conan and Lorenzo have a history shrouded in blood and Conan is worried about Lorenzo's reasoning. Janine wants Conan but he's afraid of a commitment. He goes from being thoughtful and caring to cold and impartial. I really enjoyed the other books, but this one was so much more. There were consequences to Janine's affairs that were mind blowing. The lengths Lorenzo was willing to go to in order to get Janine and defeat Conan was so exciting. I LOVED the way Conan and Janine ended Lorenzo's reign. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Another of the Wolfs brother found his mate. He doesn't know, what hit him, when he is asigned to guard Janine. Janine is a woman, who doesnt take shit from anyone and she make her onw decision and rules. She is clever and beautifull and really strongwilled and she overcome every obstacle on her way to happilly ever after.

Protected by Conan is a great read.

Janine is a independent businesswoman and doesn’t take kindly to being told what to do, and that is exactly what Conan is there to do.

Conan needs to protect Janine as she is a fated female for the werewolf population, what he wasn’t counting on was being attracted to the feisty female. Conan can’t afford any distractions from protecting, not only his family but all the werewolves.

The chemistry between Conan and Janine is electric. The struggle they both face is real and a source of contention between them, which makes giving in to their desires that must harder.

Ana Calin can write a bad guy / psychopath like it’s no body’s business. Lorenzo the Venetian Count is a great example.

These books are for mature audiences only and they keep on getting hotter and sexier by the page.

I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Wolf brothers. If you enjoy sexy Alpha shifters and feisty independent woman with loads of steamy hot scenes than this series is a must read.

Go further into the rabbit hole of her Hidden World

Janine, owner of a successful hotel chain and fated female, gets stuck with Conan, werewolf soldier extraordinaire, as her bodyguard after the events in Taken by Nero Wolf. As the story progresses old enemies resurface, new discoveries are made, and fights on multiple levels occur. Aba Calin has taken her readers further into the rabbit hole of her Hidden World with Protected by Conan Wolf, adding new layers and creating multiple directions for the series to take. I am extremely interested to see what she has in the works for Achilles and Hercules.

This is the best book of this series so far!
The theme this time is restrain and self-control. I totally loved it.
As usual, Ana Calin bring us to wondrous places (Venice, now) with amazing characters and very cool plots. The romance(s) twists are incredible and the long term story too.
This can be read as a self-contained romance, but I do recommend to read the serie books in order as there is a linear timeline, with a couple of spoilers in this book about the previous stories.
As usual too, I can't wait to get my hands on the next adventure that just starts with a murder and lots of suspicion.

Another great addition to this series with Conan and Janine! This is the third book in the series, and while it could be read as a stand-alone, you'll definitely enjoy the first two and might as well enjoy the series from the get-go! They're entertaining, sexy, suspenseful, well-written novels, that leave you wanting more! I can't wait for the next one in the series, with this book actually setting the stage for the next one! It'll be one hell of a ride!

So enjoyed this novella telling Conan and Janine's story. I love that Ms. Calin had the strong warrior named Conan. It's difficult to write much in this review without giving much of the story away. So, I'll tell you there were stong characters. Loved and hated Conan's self-sacrificing ways. Loved Janine's sassiness. This at times made me mad, sad, happy, tingly. Cannot wait for more of the Wolf family!

Wow where do I even start. Conan and Janine are dynamic, hot, and over the top amazing. There was only one time he annoyed me, but it goes well with the flow of Conan. This is one adventurous journey you don't want to miss. The writing and flow of the book is top notch.

The third book in the Magnificient Beasts. Conan became Janine's bodyguard in order to protect Darkwood Falls from the Serpents and the also other Supernatural beings that would be interested in taking over the town. Conan wasn't interested in falling in love nor imprinting on a woman but Janine is not making his decision easy.

The series just keeps getting hotter with each brother.

I've read all three books in 2 days! I loved the strong men and equally strong women, and the storyline kept me riveted. Eagerly waiting for the 4th book.
