The first book I read for semester two was, "Thank You, Logan" by Valerie Tripp.
Nature-loving Logan comes to school on her day to take care of the class rabbit even though she has a cold, prompting Miss Sparks to teach the students about proper sneezing etiquette. Includes pointers and tips to help stop the spread of the flu. Some of the main characters in this book were Logan, spencer, Miss Sparks, and Razzi which was the class pet rabbit.

What I like about this book was how it taught me how important it is to always sneeze and or cough into my arm. What I didn't like about this book was how a lot of people got sick and I felt bad for them. One thing I would change about this book is I would not have Razzi the class pet rabbit get sick.

I would recommend this book to people that loves animals and love to be around them. I think that they would really enjoy it because their is a lot of animals in this book. If you get sick a lot then I think you should read this book to keep you from spreading your sickness to other people. I really like this book and I hope if you read it that you will too.

A book for early readers. This story is about a young girl named Logan who is excited to have a turn as caretaker to the class pet, Razzi the rabbit. When Logan’s turn comes up she takes it even though she is sick with a cold. Razzi also has a cold and Logan worries that she might have given her some germs. Logan and her teacher team up to teach classmates about germs and proper hygiene to stop the spread of sickness. These lessons are timely given the current environment with Covid 19.

Overall this is a cute book. I read it aloud to my preschool age children and they liked it, especially the illustrations which were cute and funny. There were a few transitions in the book that felt a bit clunky/repetitive. There is also a parent information section in the back that offers activities related to the book as well as educational information about germs and pets.

The book has great illustrations that I think will catch the eyes of small children. I like that it teaches how important it is to not spread germs and I’m glad the book mentioned that we don’t spread our cold germs to animals. I feel this is more targeted for kids going into a school setting than those who have been at school for a couple years.

A good book for parents to read with a child. There are segmented sections for reading to the child. It then follows up with suggested activities and an informational section about animals and health.
